Empire Motel

The lady that runs this motel was the most lovely person which is what really capped off our stay. The room was comfortable, cozy, clean and had exactly what we needed. Will definitely come back here next time we’re in Penticton!

The hotel is a little older, but is very well maintained, and the rooms are modernized. The service was top shelf, and the location was great, many amenities in the area, and a short walk to the beach on Skaha lake.

We had a night stay in the motel. The receptionist was too good. She explained everything very clearly.

Shame on these owners for their greed and lack of compassion! Gouging fire evacuees forced from their home and then after finding out they had a pet, you throw them out, don't give a refund nor their deposit back. Leaving them without a place to go! I will never stay here and I hope others think thwice

It is not my experience, it's the experience of a couple that were evacuees from the fires. They were charged $700 for 2 nights + a $350 damage deposit. They were not informed when they checked in that there is a no pet policy & they were evicted after their first night stay & the motel refused to give them a refund. Contact news sources, government officials both local & provincial. Let's make this motel famous for all the wrong reasons.

Unreal how heartless they can be, charging a family who evacuated 700 plus 300 for damages to only then kick them out cause they have a no pet policy and then only refund them for the first night! Do better people are losing their homes right now have some compassion!

You should be ashamed of yourselves, ripping off evacuees over 1000 dollars. You digust me and I hope you lose business, I'll never ever stay at your place of business and I'll make sure I share the post so no one I knows goes here either.

You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves for upcharging evacuees who have lost their homes and have no where to go with their families and animals. Let alone not giving them a refund after kicking them out. $700 for two nights and $300 deposit. DO NOT STAY HERE.
