Amazing community.

The leasing process was very smooth. Alma is an amazing person and is really great at her job. She helped me out with everything from application to move in.
The concierge are also very helping.

We are in our second year of residency. We love the building! By far the best thing about the building are the staff. Both concierges are so great and Alma the building manager is extremely organized and very helpful. In fact we followed her here from our previous building she is so good!

I have been a resident since the opening and happily still love living here! We are fortunate to have two exceptional concierges who are always willing to help and share a greeting. The common areas are kept super clean; and both times I had maintenance issues, Alma was quick to arrange someone to take care of the problem - (plus courteous enough to follow-up to see if all went well). Love the amazing mountain and water views from the floor-to-ceiling windows … plus the sunsets are sublime. The location is absolutely ideal, for almost everything, at virtually anytime.

Being staying at the beautiful property for almost two years. We really enjoy living here. Big shout out to Alma, Robert and Azad for taking care of us. Excellent service!

Very rude. Called to asked questions about units since the website had no information just floor plans, she told me she had a call coming in, and to call when I "have questions". But that was the whole reason why I called. To see if there were units available, and the price and if I could set a viewing. Nope, apparently the incoming call was more important.

Alma and the concierge team have made this building feel like home. Thank you for your hard work! The views of the beach and the tall windows are beautiful.

Just want to leave a great review about the building managers, Alma and Robert. They were so friendly and accommodating, and made signing our lease easy with no stress! They are great!

I really like this place, because it's clean and the people are so sociable and caring. Specially Natasa, Alma and concierge.

Went for a viewing. The leasing specialist was rude and didn’t answer my questions. I felt pushed out of the door.
With many better rental options across the street, please don’t bother with this address!

The property itself is beautiful. However, there are only two elevators that are down quite often. Car break-ins are common in the underground parking lot. The management is unhelpful and impolite. False fire alarm again today on Oct 2nd.

- Horrible landlord and concierge. They make up their own rules

- OPEN THE GYM! Don't put all that BS rules on the elevators and hallways about gym not being opened.

- the hallway to the elevator feels like your inside a steam room or Sauna! The 2nd door in the front entry must be fully opened to share the AC! Keep that door open! Accommodate your tenants comfort not your concierge guys freezing their balls during hot summer days!

2 Elevators are waaaay too slow doesn't make sense for a new tower! Adjust the speed when opening & closing.

Cons: poorly managed, slow elevators, rude management, high turnover, vehicle vandalism, construction noise, etc.

Concierge: Useless

Management: Toxic, Unfriendly, Bad communication

Building: Elevator is always out of service. Buzzer is always broken. I once caught a maintenance worker looking through my drawers on the nanny cam while I was at work when they were fixing my hot water. Upstairs neighbor kept pouring soapy dirty water onto my balcony even after I complained.

Security: Non-existent. So many break-ins in the underground parking lot.

Location is great.
Building is poorly built, which is not a surprise in Vancouver. Elevators have broken down often within 2 years of being open. There have been plumbing issues and leaks on the lower floors. My suite has had issues along the way but have been fixed.
Cleaning is mediocre to poor, especially during a pandemic. The cleaners use a Swiffer mop! Swiffer cleaning systems are fine for personal homes/suites but they should not be used for high traffic areas because it does nothing to lift dirt properly. The tile floors have a film of dirt and look disgusting. Good old fashion mop and bucket with vinegar or cleaning disinfectant should be used. The parkade has not been power-washed (let alone hosed with water) since opening. Some dog owners don't clean up after their friend has made a mess in the elevator or hallway.
Concierge is not a service. It is really security in street clothes. However, the new weekend concierge is EXCEPTIONAL! He should be managing the building because he is on top of things and is an excellent communicator!
Building manager is okay. She has her days like anyone else. The problem is the BUILDING having continuous issues and things falling apart that keeps her busy (not to her fault) and residents frustrated.
At EBR, you are definitely paying for the location and not paying for the quality of building and/or service. I have lived in a couple of WesBank properties as well and the same goes for them.
It's becoming a common theme and will get worse folks. High rents and poor quality buildings/service. The price to live in Vancouver - heck Metro Vancouver!

We moved to a beautiful suite couple of months ago at English Bay Residence. Suite has a very modern look and ideal for our expectations. We loved every bit of it. Would like to thank Natasha, leasing specialist for helping us to get this suite. And also Alma, Robert for the continues support to make our transition smooth. Not to forget Assad (weekend concierge) for making us feel so special every time we see him and been super helpful at all times. Thank you EBR team. Much love …

Me and my boyfriend have recently moved in to this building and I love it so far. The views are great and the management is very good.
I like the concierge Esam, he is very nice. Always smiling and very helpful. He went out of his way twice to help me. I really appreciate it.

English bay residence is the one of the best place to live in the West end area

We live in the 17th floor with a nice view

Bulding is very clean and organized with the hard working cleaner that they have everyday. As well as the management is very helpful and easy to deal with

Great modern place to live. The area is amazing and the views are sublime - plus the abundance of happy canines makes everything even better. The building has excellent cleaning and maintenance teams. The office is professional and problems are solved promptly with courteous follow-up.

Building is great! Concierge Esam is very friendly and helpful with whatever problems that have come up! He has truly made a positive impact for the time that I have been living here!
