Enterprise Rent-A-Car

This is the only car rental company I trust when I travel. They always give me free upgrades, and the price is very reasonable. I have rented so many time from them all over canada since 2016. Never had any issue.

Best in town but by no means perfect. I've rented here maybe 30 times and most times are great.

Horrible experience, zero stars. Phone call from an agent cancelled the booking less than 48 hours prior to pickup, with no options given. Booking was created weeks ago and now we are on the hook for a rental at a higher price. The agent could not care less about leaving us high and dry. Horrible business practices, horrible company.

This is by far the best car rental in Victoria! Once you get the car everything is super smooth and transparent. And the service is really kind and helpful. Special thanks to Paul Smithson. The only reason why I haven’t given 5 stars is that our car has been canceled with les then a day notice twice now due to availability difficulties leaving us with a very difficult situation. Both when we booked very short term or farther in advance. This has happened both when reserving over the phone and online so now I always check. But once the car is available everything goes well!

Made a reservation with the agent at the Victoria location on the phone Monday for a week long rental starting on Wednesday. I showed up and they didn't have the reservation and had no cars for us. Beware - this place is a clown show

Rented a Mitsubishi RVR for a little weekend getaway and very much enjoyed it! The staff at the Victoria location (Bay Street) are friendly, knowledgeable, and very clear with expectations and details. Our car was clean, great on gas, and fun to cruise around in for a few days! 100% would recommend renting from Enterprise.

I rented car for one day and the process was smooth and transparent. I really liked that they were clear about all the fee and charges. There were no surprises and the price for the rental was pretty reasonable too. I would take the service again for sure.

I rented a vehicle for a 3 day trip in the spring. They picked me up at the airport and dropped me off when I returned. The staff was very friendly. I drove a newer Camry which was great on gas. The gas tank was 3/4 full when I picked it up and I returned it full so they compensated for the extra fuel I bought. It was very nice and no problems. I will certainly book with them the next time I am out in Victoria

Got a 4 day rental from this location it was a
Mazda Cx3 used it for 2 days, 3rd day i opened the cover of sunroof and found these BOOGERS stuck all over it.all the dots in the glass is not dirt thats what i thought, they are BOOGERS and PET HAIR all over the car, had rented from enterprise in the past never had any complaints or problems but this is really sad.

A great experience – except that our drop-off location somehow got changed from downtown Vancouver to a Toyota dealership in Burnaby, where the receiving agent was every bit as confused as we were.

So really, not great at all.

Great customer service. Had an issue and solved the problem with 3 different options immediately.

I'd just like to say that dealing with the people at enterprise was fantastic experience.
The moment I walked through the door I was greeted with friendly faces and excellent advice on the car I needed with some of the best cars around. I delt with Mark on the book in and Paul on the book out and I give these guys a five star for service which by the way they picked me up in the morning to go get my rental which saved me money and time. When I got there they gave me a choice of three cars which would be perfect for me trip. I chose the bronco which turned out to be absolutely perfect for this trip I was taking up to port hardy and back. Just excellent service all the way around and made renting a good vehicle enjoyable and fun.

We got picked up at the Ferry from Port Angeles by Mark and taken to Enterprise. He was polite and obliging.
When we got there we were given a Honda Civic, it was a great car, went around a lot of the Island without a problem.
Brought it back 2 days earlier than the rental agreement, adjusted the contract all on the spot, was a great deal and no hassles.
Next time we come to Victoria, we'll be using them again.
Also customer service was fantastic.

Poor handling of icbc claims process. We've been without a rental for a week that was needed to replace our main vehicle. Called around and the fault lay entirely with enterprise. Finally get there, and the car isnt even ready. Perhaps they are better at regular car rentals, but I'm not really willing to take the chance.

When we called the location previous to our arrival they said they would pick us up at the cruise ship dock and to call when we got off the ship. When we called they said they couldn't pick us up and we needed to take a cab to their location. They did reduce our rate by $15 for the cab fare. They need to be clearer on their site about accessing their business from the cruise ships. There are shuttles from the cruise ship dock ($15) to the Empress Hotel and then there are rental car companies a short walk from there. If you are going to rent a car in Victoria off a cruise ship I would research your options. Otherwise they were pretty good.

I rented a car for a couple days from this location, and the car was clean and pretty much brand new. Customer service was great when I picked up the car with Rohil, and same with Mark when I returned the car. Would recommend.

Love the service, back in 2017 I booked a small sedan, got an unexpected upgrade for the same price to a Hyundai Tuscon. Will keep renting from them as the rental charges are quite affordable. You can always ask for an upgrade, some times it can cost you few extra dollars.

I rented a car from Enterprise and it has been nothing but a nightmare. I’ve never rented a vehicle before so was unsure of how it works. The service rep Catherine was unthorough in her first outside check of the Toyota Rav 4 I got and failed to notice a crack in the windshield. Because. I have never rented a vehicle before and we did a walk through I figured it would already be written down. When I brought the car back they billed my insurance for it and she stated “ it’s a big crack I would have noticed it before”. I then switched into a Kia Soul because they put me in an expensive rental right at the beginning and my insurance explained to me that I wouldn’t have coverage much longer so to switch to a smaller one. As we are doing the walk through the Kia Soul also had a cracked windshield which I immediately pointed out to her. She stated that there was “damage noted” on the car already. When I reviewed the documents I signed for the Kia there was other damage on the vehicle as well which was not pointed out to me when renting the car. Who knows if they would have tried to bill me for that too. I then phoned them this morning and spoke to a man because I was unsure when I was supposed to bring the car back since I switched and he stated I could extend the rental until my coverage ran out with ICBC and to phone ICBC to confirm. I then call back and speak to a different woman and she tells me I need to bring the car back that day as stated in the agreement. I told her I just spoke to someone over the phone an hour ago who told me to keep it and to call ICBC which is why I was calling and they had no note of that. Poor communication, poor service all around would not recommend. Make sure to check the vehicle you are getting THOROUGHLY so you are not billed through insurance. Never coming back here.

I picked up a car for a short rental. I didn’t realize how dirty it was until I drove it off the lot. There were gross, huge stains all over the backseat. The door had grit and dirt on it. It was as if they just quickly vacuumed and wiped the centre console. Enterprise claims to take extra precautions with cleaning due to Covid but that wasn’t the case here. I drove the car approx 70 km. Put some gas in the car on return and the dial didn’t move whatsoever. Returned the car anyway and they charged me an extra $35 to refuel at $4.08 per litre! Unreal. I don’t recommend going here.

Rented a car for two days on a short notice from enterprise. They gave me a brand new (below 300 kmtrs driven) car. Incredible service by Our agent named AL Roshan. He made sure everything thing was right before we started our trip. Offered pick up and drop off services. Thank you so much enterprise and Roshan for an amazing service and wonderful machine.

Amazing experience. I bought a 55" tv, expecting to be able to call a taxi and bring it home (I don't have a vehicle). I tried to phone a cab a few times and when that didn't work, I tried phoning enterprise. What I didn't realise was that due to a landslide, virgin's calling service was down. Desperate, I walked to enterprise and explained my situation to Iurii as he tried to find a van for me to rent. (I think that was his name, so sorry that I didn't ask for it though!) After hearing my story, he said he could try to phone a taxi for me. He called 4 different companies trying to find one that would book a pickup at the bay centre, with a vehicle big enough to carry a tv that size. I didn't end up renting a vehicle that day, and I was blown away by his service and willingness to make my day a lot better after it had been so frustrating due to virgin's outages! I am with the military and I rent from enterprise quite often and I have always had a great experience, but this was just simply above and beyond. Government st. Will be my new location of choice for all future rentals! Thanks a million! Hopefully I got your name right!

Of all the locations i was treated with the most respect. I can vouch this location has reliable vehicles.

Friendly staff and great selection of cars. They pick you up from pretty much anywhere in town. Great rates including insurance! Very impressed with the service

I rented a car for the weekend from Enterprise and it was such a great experience! Their professionalism is beyond words and they were very personable and kind to deal with. I was very pleased for my first experience with Enterprise and will most definitely be renting from them again in the future.

Informed me I would have a vehicle set up in the afternoon when I dropped off my vehicle at the shop. No luck as they were sold out. Told me to call in the morning and I should be good to go. Nope, said not until the evening. I realize things happen and sometimes it is out of their control but the fact they were not straight up with me from the beginning completely screwed me over. If you wont have any then just TELL ME. Dont let me wait around with no car. Brutal.

The best car hire experience we have ever had.
The guys at Enterprise Victoria did an amazing job. Justin, Riley and Alvin made pick up and drop off a pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble and even provided pointers on where to go for food and drink in Victoria - Big Bad John’s was an experience - Canada’s very own Raffles Bar plus a special mention has to to go to Bob - picked us up from the ferry, gave us a quick tour on the way to pick up our car and then another lift when we dropped off. Everyone was so professional but also so friendly too. We are already planning our next trip here and will definitely use Justin and the team again.

Super easy, it's great that they just come pick you up. And it's nice that ICBC covers you for a rental during repairs.

I'm always very impressed by the speed and courteousness of the service at this place. I come in, pay, and walk out with a car in under 10 minutes, and everyone is always very friendly. Definitely my preferred rental location!

Really great experience renting a car here through Costco online rentals. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Everything was ready to go right on time, and we were very impressed with every aspect of our dealings with Enterprise. Will be using again!

I sadly had to rent a car due to mine having mechanical issues. Booked with them through Costco (best deal) was busy when I was there, but they went through quickly. The service was fast thorough and vehicle clean.

I called In to rent a car for like 1 hour of use and was denied upon arrival. Not sure if it was a miscommunication on the customer service end. But I left pretty unimpressed. Almost stuck for a rental I ended up finding one. Then was still not happy with the folks at enterprise. I the. Proceeded to pay the local homeless people to rub their dirty junk on the cars handles in the parking lot. So maybe use some hand sanitizer before opening car door. Im in the area regularly and have no problem dropping $20-$50 on some good old fashioned fun. So fair warning

Super reception and a great talk through with none of that unnecessary upselling that you get at car rentals in the USA. Perhaps enterprise really do have better customer service. Highly recommended

Quick and friendly service. Good location just outside of downtown. Best rates for a moving van as well.
