Shout out to the manager Nitesh and his staff Bal with their fast and friendly service. We are a family of four with 2 little kids. Inquiry about car seat rental services at the airport branch, and got help from Nitesh and Bal with a rapid speed. Those two gentlemen are knowledgeable, thoughtful and friendly. I will definitely recommend them to everyone who needs rental service.

The managers at this location were phenomenal with helping us throughout the rental experience. We had an unfortunate instance of someone breaking the back window of our rental car and taking all of our possessions mid-trip - needless to say we needed a new vehicle despite that they were just about to close for the night; the manager was so supportive and made sure we got everything in order without any hassle - took the stress right off of us. This amazing experience carried onto the day of return where the second manager also provided us a seamless experience. You have no idea how much we appreciated this. Highly recommend Enterprise at this location, the service was unparalleled.

The vehicle was a Mazda CX9, this was the worst vehicle I have driven. Rented this vehicle for 5 days and absolutely hated it. 0 power, horrible drive quality with a constant rattling sound. The manager for this location named Josh phoned me to inquire about my experience, he agreed that the vehicle could be better - offered to e-mail me his details so we could coordinate another vehicle pickup, never heard back from him. Called the 1800 number to reach him but it would not let me connect with a representative. Absolutely horrible experience.

Rented a car for a ski vacation from Enterprise Vancouver airport over Christmas. Called Enterprise multiple times in advance to double check and triple check winter tires would be provided as we were driving up Highway 5 in winter months. Customer service agent confirmed and reconfirmed that we would be provided winter tires. When we arrived on the day to pick up the car they told us there were no winter tires on our rental and dismissed our concerns. We also had to wait 30-40 minutes to get the car after bringing the wrong one.
Also, when we returned the vehicle they tried charging us for the winter tires!

This place has the worst customer service. The wait time is more than forty minutes and their staff just tell you to keep waiting laugh and chill in the office while the customer are waiting outside. Four years of enterprise customer has come to an end.

Excellent car rental experience with Dave Kapoor at the counter. He quickly checked my reservation, recognized an eligible upgrade for my situation, and provided a fantastic Mercedes-Benz GLC 300. We have rented twice from this location for approximately 1 month rentals and keep on returning here for their excellent service and great fleet of vehicles. Even though I hold a Hertz Gold status and Avis President's club status, I rent from Enterprise when in Vancouver

We had a great experience at this location. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t book our ferry to Victoria because I wasn’t sure how long we have to wait in picking up our rental car. Marissa was efficient and had us set up in no time. The car was ready for us. She explained the different add-on options that were available, although we always took the DWP whenever we rent, as it just gave us peace of mind.
Armaan was also helpful and explained thoroughly where to drive out of the parking lot and also what to expect upon coming back.
I highly recommend this convenient location. We had no problems dealing with them and we were happy with their service.

Employee did not do damage inspection during rental process, which I found odd.

I did my own inspection in the lot and discovered a chipped windshield. I pointed damage out to employee who dismissively responded with "Take a photo if you want to". When I pointed out the rental agreement required me to report damage to an employee I was told "We don't write that stuff down" and directed me to another employee at the parkade exit. The person at the parkade exit circled the damage on my carbon copy of the vehicle inspection, so I'm the only one with a note of it.

I have to rent a lot of cars for work.
These employees don't appear to care.

As a customer, it's annoying. Enterprise's service used to be the best.

It seems like they're always surprised that there are people here to rent cars.

Even though I book ahead, input my flight number, check in before arrival, and show up at the requested time, I still have to sit outside their booth for 15+ minutes waiting for a car.

Like Seinfeld said, what's the point of the reservation?

Good service, both on check-in and return. Smooth and quick. We got a Passat which should probably be retired at close to 30k but it was reliable. Henry was awesome, friendly and very helpful staff member made returning the car a breathe. Will rent again!

I "reserved" a van for a large group, but when I got there they didn't have any vans or other vehicles that were large enough, so we got stuck squeezing all our luggage around us in the cabin. I don't know why they think it's OK to tell people that they will have a certain vehicle type available, then stick them in whatever vehicle they have handy. It was also dirty as there was a chunk of cheese in one of the cupholders and something sticky in another one. I'll definitely not rent with Enterprise again.

The front desk staff tried to charge me for damage that was preexisting on the vehicle. I tried to call the front desk and constantly got voicemail (which had a full inbox). After no response from them, I reached out to their customer service line and was told the branches weren't taking phone calls and they couldn't help me. Terrible experience, and shady practices.

SCAM ALERT
What an absolute nightmare. We had a rental booked a week in advance through ICBC as we needed a replacement vehicle due to the flood.

Due to a family emergency we had to fly to a different province and then fly back to YVR where we thought our rental would be.

Instead of a car rental we got: almost an hour of our time wasted going back and forth between the lost customer service agent, his “supervisor”, and then a phone call with head office who confirmed we DID have a rental.

After everything we were then told that it wasn’t covered by Icbc, that we would have to cover the cost and there was a surprise airport surcharge fee of 20% on top of an additional $6/ day fee. We walked out of there as we did not appreciate being scammed during a vulnerable time for us.

The customer service and extortion that is run out of this location is appalling and reading previous reviews about the repair scams makes me thankful we dodged this nightmare of a shady, scamming organization.

Do better.

Please be cautious and critical in renting from this location. Why? Aside from our brutal or inhuman experience, there are still numerous reasons. First, the car tire given to us at Abbottsford Airport was unsafe (see attached picture). Second, Katleya and her co-worker were both unprofessional: no apologies or “sorry” (as if it were our fault), doubtful looks and gestures were displayed (negative vibes) during and after the conversation. Third, although the replacement car arrived, they let us wait outside the parking lot – left cold in chilled in the middle of December of 2021 – on our vacation time, waiting for more than one hour. Can you imagine how inhumane it was for us (6 persons) who just had a near-death experience?

Overall, despite the near-death experience of falling on a cliff in Whistler due to low-quality tires, we, a group of six friends, are more appalled by the unprofessional, no compassion o no empathy, unacceptable customer service we received from Katleya and her colleague on December 10,2021, around 9 pm. So please be forewarned before going and renting; we hope you don’t experience what we experienced.

These clowns had over 20 clients with reservations come off our flight and come to get cars but the idiots couldn't even stay past 11pm to help the people with reservations. If you want a company that actually cares about their customers then don't use this enterprise location.

I just had a fantastic experience at Enterprise Car Rental at the airport. Being bit picky, I had some problems to select the car but Joshua Sears really helped me out and gave me the best outcome. We had to change the rental car reservation 5 times because Air Canada kept changing our flight around Thanksgiving. Enterprise at Vancouver Airport didn't charge a single change fee and was over and above helpful every time. The "contact us" number routed you to a person quickly; I never had to wait more than 2 minutes. Our flight was delayed and Enterprise said they would keep the counter open for 2 extra hours till 1am for us to pick up the car. The wait to get the car was longer than I would have liked, but it was only because the agent was making sure every person was well taken care of, had the car they needed (especially for a family that needed to drive around the washed out roads), and made sure they got all the special rates they could qualify for. Sadly I don't remember the agents name, but he was amazing. I am now a lifelong Enterprise loyal customer. The van we rented was extremely clean, well maintained, and big enough for a group of 5 adults plus ski gear. It was also the best rate of any car company at the airport. 10/10

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!
Returned a vehicle here in perfect condition (handed keys, did walk around, was handed a receipt of our return and said we were good to go). 10 days later I receive an email saying there was damage to the vehicle. Super surprised by this, I call the Damage Recovery Unit for information at which time they are not able to give me any? So, I caused the damage yet I know nothing about it and they cant provide me further information on it? Investigation is opened where the Branch Manager from this location called to ask some questions and would investigate. Took 1.5 months to get an answer back - I asked to speak to the Branch Manager as I have lots of questions and have the right to know what was investigated and the outcomes of this investigation - no answer. I called Enterprise Damage Recovery Unit multiple times with no luck of getting to speak to someone. The Risk Managers phone number was provided to me. I have called and left detailed messages for the last 2 weeks with not 1 single call back. 3 months into this now and I receive an email with a $7000 repair invoice attached expecting me to pay!

As other reviews have stated, this does not seem to be the first time this has happened at this location. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST.

Save your time and do not rent from this Enterprise. Literally go anywhere else. We’ve been renting from Enterprise for forever and this was truly the worst rental car experience that we’ve ever had. We made a reservation for a car weeks in advance. When we arrived at the location after our flight landed, we gave our name, weren’t told anything and were asked to wait in the long line behind us. The man dealing with the customers had no information and couldn’t quote us an accurate time or explain what was going on. It seemed that they had no available cars and were just handing the cars being returned to the people waiting. It was first come, first served and reservations didn’t mean anything. We waited over 2 hours to get our car that we had a reservation for and weren’t told why. From looking back at the other reviews, it’s obvious this isn’t a first. Something isn’t right here and it’s clear that no one is trying to resolve anything. Terrible customer service and incredibly disorganized. Definitely avoid.

Arrived at my appropriate time to pick up my rental from Vancouver Airport. Huge line, a minimum 45 delay once checked in. No one explaining the problem. Staff were polite under the circumstances but not acceptable service. Why bother making a reservation and completing everything online to have wait because they don't have cars? I've been a customer since 2009 no longer.

I have rented twice at this location in the past 6 months and it is always a pleasure. Quick, efficient service and the drop-off is always very friendly and surprise-free. If this is any indication, I would prefer to use Enterprise for my car-rental needs.

Line was extremely long. Only once we got to the desk did we find out they were only taking reservations. Luckily we had one - but no one else in the line up knew. Lots of time wasted waiting in line for them.

Even though we had a reservation, they were out of vehicles! What a mess.

I really was not expecting such a sweet ride at a sweet price during Canada day weekend at an airport location. I was so impressed with how each service agent wanted me and my 5 friends to feel like their #1 customers. They even provided me a list of local recommendations of places to go. My flight arrived early so I had to wait till my scheduled check-in time. It was DEFINITELY worth the wait. I am glad I did not insist on an earlier time like other customers because at 12: 30, an immaculately, fresh set of wheels rolled in. Took this beauty across the west coast and had an amazing time filming GoPro videos of BC from the sunroof. Thank you SO much Enterprise! I will only rent from you whenever I am in BC!

This place needs customer service training. Had to swap out my vehicle due to a mechanical issue. When I came in I wasn't greeted. No eye contact, not even a 'how's your trip been so far'. What I got was annoyance. I felt like I was being a bother by asking to be swapped into a safe drivable vehicle for my long trip with 2 infants. I don't think I've felt so unwelcome and insignificant at a place ever. I'm completely shocked at how a rental counter at the second busiest airport in Canada can have such poor service. Rent at any of the numerous rental car companies on site, you'll pay a few bucks more but you won't be treated like a pest.

We (me and my wife) used to rent from Enterprise until today's horrible experience.
I booked a car for a day, something urgently brought up, I drop off the car in a close location after few hours. They immediately rent the car in front of me to someone else and got double profit from it but they charged me 55$ extra.
Update: They asked me to send them an email which didn't help.

When I arrived at the airport they did not have the vehicle available. Tired to provide a lower cost vehicle. When they finally found an "appropriate" vehicle, it was way too small.

The worst part was it was clear there had been zero attempt at cleaning or disinfecting. By the time I finally got the vehicle I was in too much of a hurry to inspect the vehicle (there was no walkthrough with an employee).

The dashboard was filthy, the back seats were stained, there was garbage in the door panels. And worst of all, someone's dirty, used facemask was stuffed into one of the cupholders. It was disgusting.

I have been a customer with Enterprise since 2004 and the service has always been excellent.

The last few times I have rented through the Beckwith Rd location in Richmond BC. Living in Langley it is a drive for me to come to Richmond but the service I receive from Arsh is worth the travel. He has helped me in all different type of situations from last minute vehicle changes to adding snow tires so I could be safe in my travel. He always goes above and beyond. Thank you Arsh and Thank you Enterprise.

Better Options out there. Rented as a Corporate rental, received a very small car with a big cost (not impressed with the rate). Car was older, not very well cleaned (smudges all over the windows), lots of dents. Expected better for a corporate rate rental.

Booked car weeks ahead for a week vacation, attached flight number to the booking. Flight arrives 30 min late and office is closed, so I have no car. Waited outside half an hour for the shuttle that, obviously, never arrived. They didn't even bother to leave me a message! Alamo, the partner I was sent to after calling the Enterprise HQ, doesn't have cars. Neither does National. Both told me they'd have handed me the Enterprise car IF only the Enterprise desk left them the piece of paper needed for that very service. Amazing customer service! Avoid this location like the plague!

I have rented from this place 4-5 times. I always call and ask when Arshpreet is working. He is the only reason i rent from this place. I specially comes all the way from burnaby to rent. He will personally walks with me and give me a car that suits me best. Recently, i went to whistler with my family and Arsh gave me awd car. I liked Arsh's quality of being polite and the way of being personal with me. Keep it up. This location have few cars with snow tires.

Des personnes odieuses avec un manque de respect total.

Jai réservé un véhicule pour 4 jours, en arrivant au comptoir on me refuse la remise du véhicule car j’ai une carte bancaire française et un permis de conduire canadien.

J’ai utilisé cette même agence au mois de septembre avec les mêmes documents cité et quand je leurs ai dit.
On m’a simplement répondu VOUS ÉTIEZ CHANCEUX LA DERNIÈRE FOIS.
Voici à quel point vous serez apprécier leur professionnalisme.

Je sais que c’est plus éloigné de l’aéroport mais je vous recommande ENTERPISE À OLYMPIC VILLAGE, toujours bien reçu et souvent surclassé

J’avais choisi Richmond par rapport au prix, mais finalement il faut parfois mettre le prix pour être tranquille.

Comme promis au gens de Richmond j’écris cet avis, ils m’ont dit faites faites ça ne change rien pour nous.

No information was given at time of booking regarding the insurance. This was such a stressful experience. I had spoken to that branch 3 times before I flew into YVR and not once was insurance brought up or the fact that there was an additional $200.00 charge above the rental fees that hit my card Not given all important information or charges at time of booking. Not a happy camper. As I have not rented a vehicle for over 20 years, I had no idea of these extra charges. The employees being in the business should have disclosed all pertinent charges and rental costs to all/any person booking a rental with them Very poor communications on their part.

Best experience with this location. Airport pick up is prompted and always have cars ready for you. When I get here I always ask if I can upgrade generally they have cars you can upgrade to at a reasonable price. I've also had time where my car wasn't available and got free upgrades. I highly recommend renting from here when your in vancouver.

Stay away! We returned a car here Aug 25. As other posters have said the manager came out to inspect car and went straight to front bumper. He accused us of damaging car. We definitely did not. Had to get on our knees to see a very light scuff. Charged us 500 dollars damage deposit. After two months of dealing with insurance and Enterprise, Enterprise finally admitted the damage was too minimal to proceed with. What a hassle for nothing and the scuff was probably there when they gave us the car. Very interesting that others have had the same experience. We picked up a car from the Abbotsford Airport location on September 27,2019 that was extremely dirty. We were able to take it to the Beckwith Rd location where Lan helped find us a new car and one that was exactly what we were looking for. His customer service was excellent and made our entire experience a positive one.

No urgency/customer service when I entered the office. After showing me the car, I couldn't pull out since a customer just moved in front of my stall. Asked an employee to help me out and was not apologetic about the inconvenience and was not urgent in getting the car out of the way. Upon returning the car, which was late at night. I requestedd the driver to bring me to the YVR value parking which was on the way to YVR and also closer. Driver refused until I talked to an employee. The shuttle driver was clearly annoyed the entire drive and was not knowledgable of the roads there. I sincerely offered to give him directions but he was still very unwilling to listen until he gave up since he was lost. After finding the value parking area, I thanked him for his time and he didn't respond and stormed off after I exited the vehicle. I won't be using this location anymore as they clearly don't value customers that are willing to travel to their offsite airport location which is already inconvenient.

We got a car here on September 8th, returned it on the 11th to the same depot. We were told that we would receive our $200 deposit back within 3-5 days. After a week we contacted them and were told It would take 10 days. Then contacted them again later were told it takes 28 days and if it has not been refunded toe the credit card then we have to prove with a letter form our bank in New Zealand that it has not been paid back to us. It has been 33 days and we still have no money and they have not responded to our email 2 days ago. I cannot recommend this depot at all. If you care to respond to me and refund our money I will remove this review.

Terrible service. Did not provide me with the same class of car I had booked. When I asked to change it they told me they have no cars. I enquired if I could go to another branch. They said yes. I wasted my time there as they were also out of cars. I'm now paying more for a car I didn't even ask for.

We recently flew to Vancouver and rented a car from Enterprise. I mistakenly chose downtown as our pick-up point. We are in our late 70's and were in a panic. The Airport Rental Manager, Chad, couldn't have been nicer. He arranged for us to pick up a car at the airport off-site location instead. He also provided a free upgrade - a great Chevrolet SUV. The shuttle drivers employed by Enterprise were both terrific - very friendly. Both seemed pleased to receive a tip rather than just expecting one, We have rented from another company with an airport location but our Enterprise experience was far better and I highly recommend them.

I visited this location with my family and booked for a mid size car but got a free upgrade to suv. Arsh helped us in a very good manner. He offered the coverage and explained the damage policy very precisely as i was renting car first time. He made it easy for me. The shuttle driver was also very funny. Definitely gonna rent from this location again.

Be very careful if you're going to rent from this place!

I visited Vancouver and rented a car from them. When we received the car, the person showed us around the car and we didn't see any scratches or anything. When we returned the car though, when they came to inspect it, the first thing the dude did was crouch down and look under the bumper of the car. He noticed a small scratch and said that we must have caused it. It was impossible to see without crouching all the way down and even so it would've been very difficult to spot unless they had known to specifically check there. My friends and I were shocked because we didn't see how it would've been possible as none of us had any recollection of hitting anything or scratching the bumper in that spot. And when we had received the car, they didn't think to show us the bottom of the bumper either so we couldn't argue that it was not our fault. Of course when they looked it up, there was no prior incidents regarding the bumper and they charged us 500 for the repairs. Thankfully in the end, they returned the money because the damages were too small but I wouldn't be surprised if they just kept it as is so that they can do the exact same thing to the next person who rents the car!

Make sure if you rent here, take pictures and check everywhere around the car even if they don't prompt you to.

So he told his company's driver to give me a lift to the airport, where other companies were available. All because just trying to give me the best service. What a wonderful people working here! Took our family of 5 to Vancouver for Spring Break and we are so glad we used this Enterprise location. The pickup and return process was so seamless. The shuttle drivers were friendly and waiting both times to take us to and from the airport. It was so convenient having a car to drive around the city and haul our 3 kids. When we returned the car Chad was helpful, friendly and quick to get us on the ride so we could catch our plane. Definitely the place to rent your car!

We were a little bit surprised that it was not on the airport grounds but they had a great shuttle too and from the airport which was actually nicer as we didn't have to drive through the the airport traffic, and the shuttle driver helped load luggage on the cart and on the car. Also very reasonable prices! Would definitely recommend for YVR travellers!

This is the best enterprise I've ever used. Organized, friendly and very helpful. I think Henry helped me and he was fantastic with a few last min changes on my rental.

This is best enterprise location that i have ever been to.everything about this place was simply amazing. Got a brand new Dodge charger. Timely pick up and drop off from the airport. Professional drivers and on top of that AWESOME STAFF.

I was late for my flight and Jack made the return process extra quick and arranged the airport shuttle to leave immediately. Thank you Jack.

WOW! Every time I rent from Enterprise I'm impressed.on this occasion everything on this 4 day trip to Vancouver that could go wrong.did. Weather, event was cancelled, had awful time with friend etc. I returned the car so distraught.he listened and went over and beyond what I expected for customer service.he said the shuttle will take me to hotel when originally it takes you to airport then hotels shuttle takes you to hotel.and he cut some cost off the entire rental without me asking. I was very surprised since I have never seen these gestures. I loved the car they provided also and I will remain loyal and always rent from them in the future!

Matt was extremely professional, friendly and helpful in all facets - One of the BEST experiences I have ever had with a car hire company. He listened intently of our concerns and was able to resolve all worries smartly, concisely and professionally. I truly believe the change of vehicle (Jeep Wrangler) saved our lives considering the weather we encountered further north. Thank you again, Matt.
