I am based in the United States and bought a dress from Esprit De La Femme's website. The dress was nicely packaged, but I had to return it because it was too small. I didn't realize return shipping to Canada would cost $23 (that was the cheapest option) and that it would be out-of-pocket. Yikes!

The customer service has gone downhill since I came here last. My boyfriend helps with the talking because of my anxiety, and this is usually not a problem. Last time I was here, I was sized quickly and found a good fitting bra. This time my boyfriend asked if they could check my size again, and the lady said that she does sizing “with her eyes”. She proceeded to bring a few bras that didn’t fit, and after I communicated that they didn’t fit, she brought half a dozen more of the same size. My boyfriend spoke up that that band size didn’t fit, but she was extremely dismissive and insisted she needed to see me in the bra before she would believe it was too small. Eventually I was so uncomfortable & frustrated after 10+ bras not fitting we ended up just leaving.

I stopped in here on a whim after seeing two of their mannequins at the front of the shop. Let me tell you, I was greeted with amazing customer service the moment I stepped in the shop. By the end I felt like an old friend and found a bunch of pieces I felt amazing in. A big selection of lingerie and loungewear. I can’t recommend this store enough, and will be looking on their website in the future when I’m back home in Alberta.

After bra shopping in specialty stores in Canada and the US, I've finally found the best place so far. Plenty of options. Highly knowledgeable team. Change rooms are properly lit with 3 mirrors to give you a true understanding of fit. Efficiency in how the team manages clients in the change room. Personable, honest, trustworthy and caring. A great combination of attributes demonstrated by Jody that led to the confident purchase of my goods. I love this place. I will be back. Too bad I don't live in Nelson, or I'd be shopping here all the time. For now, it will be on-line and with the assistance of Jody. Shop here ladies. Your ladies and you won't be disappointed.
