Best donuts in Victoria. They are fluffy, soft, HUGE, and not too sweet. The Boston Cream especially is amazing, it is stuffed full of delicious custard.

Wow! These donuts are incredible! I ordered a variety of them to be picked up for my son’s birthday this past Thursday. They were ready for me, everything I had ordered was there & the service was very friendly. I noticed some apple danish’s in the display and I had to get one & I am so glad I did! The pastry was so flakey and the filling was pure perfection. I’ll be going back for more!
On to the donuts! They are tender, the flavours are delicious and they reminded me of ones I would get in Montreal as a child. I haven’t tasted anything like these here in Victoria. Oh, I think I forgot to mention the size of them! They’re big! One bite and you know you’ll be going back!

Esquimalt Bake Shop made several dozen assorted donuts for our May 2023 wedding. We picked them up the morning of and didn’t take any special precautions, and they were still fresh and tasty in the evening. They were the cheapest thing on our dessert table but the most popular by far! We did cut the donuts in half for guests as they are quite large portions. Would highly recommend as a reasonably priced dessert option for events!

Absolutely AMAZING locally owned bakery! Their donuts are huge (!), they have a great selection of flavours, and VERY reasonable prices! If you are a donut fan, these are worth the trip! Lots of other items too.perfectly flaky sausage rolls and mest pies, breads, cookies, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We got a assortment of doughnuts, all of which were fantastic. The blueberry and lemon filling was out of this world!

I had my wedding on August 6 and ordered different types of donut and the sausage rolls. Everything was amazing. Our guests gave a lot complements. Thank you the owner so much, you are so kind and sweet.

Ordered in the evening and order was ready by 9am as requested. Family gathering for a birthday party, and everyone enjoyed the donuts DELICIOUS! The reaction from damily members was eye popping and draw dropping when they saw the donut size and the variety, WELL DONE to the staff at ESq Bakery! We had extra and ate them the next day and still, very tasty and fluffy.
Prior to party I gathered my grandchildren to do a blind taste test with donuts I purchased from 2 other donuts stores that were highly recommended, and all of them voted for #3 which was Esquimalt Bake Shop! We created a mini donut wall instead of serving birthday cake.
Service was exceptional when she asked what our occasion was for she happily smiled and gave the birthday boy a triple chocolate chip cookie, the cookies are large too.

I've never been big on donuts as a dessert but I definitely an now! Lol

If you're a deep fried donut lover like myself, you've found the right place! These donuts are the best in Victoria in my opinion and they're huge! Honestly I've been looking for some great donuts and have been a bit underwhelmed by a lot of the ones I've tried (all yummy but usually baked which isn't my favourite way to eat them). Lemon blueberry donut is easily my favourite there but so many other amazing flavours as well!

These donuts don’t disappoint! We often order them for the office, the flavours are always really good. There’s an option to pre order by emailing them which I like to opt for.

It isn't everyday you discover such a charming local family business that proudly serves a variety of onsite baked goods. This fine bakery shop is becoming very FAMOUS for their BEST HAND DIPPED DONUTS, amazing sourdough bread, tasty savory pies, sausage rolls, oat, date squares, cookies & tarts. I went there my first time today but they just sold out of Donuts! Someone had ordered the maple Bacon but never picked up. Thank you to the the person that did not come to get them. Amazing Donuts and service that made our day when we had a rough week.

Such a great bakery! We had a donut wall at our wedding last month and everyone loved it! All the guests were raving about the donuts. It was also super easy and smooth working with the family that owns it. They're amazing!

Love this bakery, huge doughnuts that are generously filled. From lemon curd to custard fillings, they're all so tasty. Also reasonably priced! The lady that runs the place is very nice!
