Worst gas station in richmond. Staff that are supposed to fuel your car with full service never come to your car to fill it up. You wait and wait and no one comes. You end up saving time by just fueling your own gas. After I decided to fill my own gas I went inside to buy something and noticed the employee that is supposed to fuel the cars was just hanging around inside doing nothing and starring at everyone fueling their own cars. They had another employee who was working the cashier so I know that the second employee hanging around was doing nothing in there.

Staff is nice, I didn’t have enough change for a PRIME hydration drink and she let me slide.

Prices were listed here (3 PM 29 March) 1.88 reg. 1.76 mid 1.83 prem. Actual Mid was 2.03. Who is posting this bogus info?

Poor customer service, not worried about their own safety so can't imagine the plight of the customers. The Punjabi staff today (19th March, 2023) was super rude.

Don't get me wrong. I love Esso with their fast on-the-run for many years. However, this location is easily the most expensive priced one among all nearby Richmond gasoline stations. As other reviews indicated, I hardly see any price changing between night and day, also there were times when all other stations lowered their price to reflect supply change while this one stayed the same.

As for a location, it is on the way either northbound via Garden City or eastbound via Westminster Hwy, which should be convenient for many morning commute residents. But the price here refused to compete with others makes it hard to stand out. I often go to other Esso or Superstore instead with a better price for fuels.

Visually, this station is found overall clean and tidy for most of the time, it has a convenient store but no touchless car wash.

The place is pretty big with a number of gas pumps. There is a car wash as well. The vacuum cleaners are also there which are pretty useful. The price was a bit on the higher side, not sure if it was because of the location. Pretty close to all major locations. As a result it's pretty easy to access. Given a chance I would definitely go back there if I visit Richmond again.

Often have higher price than nearby stations. Their price often less competitive than nearby stations.
They often decrease their price once at around 4pm, then again at around 6pm, and again decrease for the final time at around 9pm.

Apparently they're now a 7-11 too. It's pretty cramped inside but they've got a good selection and a functional bathroom. Decent service and non-invasive upselling.

When I visited, they had 2 cashiers alternating between the cash register and the pump.

Last time I checked, Richmond still outlaw self serve at the pump. But this gas station have no attendant in sight. Not one. Only the cashier. What kind of service is this?

They are breaking the law!

Do not go here! I paid for a couple of gallons of gas in cash and no gas was actually put into the car. We did not realize until we were farther out and could not go back. We made sure it was not an issue with our meter. Terrible service as well!

Apr, 12,2019 at 11: 10 pm. Gas rush! More than 50 vehicles were in the line. Finally got into line and figured out I am in wrong side of the pump.
Went inside and asked if the hose stretches out to other side as I couldn't move out of line to go to other side, more than 10 cars were lined up behind me.
The guy inside said don't worry, I hold the line and you make U turn.

Rude staff,

I got there 10min before closing, and they were telling me to "Hurry Up, we close midnight ".
"Hurry Up"?
I think it is very rude to tell customers to hurry up.

So I asked them why they are in such a rush?
Because owner don't pay you guys 5min over time?
Then they should list their hours to 11: 55pm.

I pass them 5days a week around midnight,
There light is always off by 11: 40pm.

This is so I do not go to all that often. When I have gone the bathroom is decently clean and the service is fine. There is a small Tim Hortons restaurant in there as well and it seems that lots of people enjoy going to that Tim Hortons. I personally do not Patron Tim Hortons. Gas station attendant there friendly. Gas station stores well-supplied and there's plenty of snacks and 7-Eleven stuff. I do wish though that those that wish to shop at this Esso would not park so poorly. Sometimes because of the way they Park they shut down access to some of the gas pumps. But that is not the fault of the gas station so much as bad driving thinking.
