ESSO Smart Stop 37852

I am working as a driver. For many time I got gas from there. Today I stopped for Gasoline. I went inside to use the was room. The staff said it's out of order from last 7 months. They themselves use subway or 7-ELEVEN washrooms. It's hard too believe. I will never go there again. I advise others. Terrible

Staff in this Tim Hortons that is located inside an esso gas station is very disrespectful, mean, and hash. When it comes to customer service, we as costumers expect positive attitude, polite and normal behavior. I believe they should be trained properly.

Your washroom is closed for more than 3 months now, I don’t what kind of service business you’re into. This is the only gas station in downtown vancouver that doesn’t have working washroom! I’d rather go to petro or chev thanks!

Its always dirty. And they just ppl hang out front asking for money. Ppl follow you to your car asking for change.

Restroom is permanent closed. I would suggest to go other gas station which is very close and washroom is open there.

I find the whole payment system confusing! You need to guess how much you think you will need and it's not clear it will only debit what you use. So guess $100, only pump $50, and it will only debit $50. But that is not clear and assistant was not terribly helpful.

Very bad service.night time esso station employee working is not properly.mostly night 4am doors are closed

Has all the nastiness we need fuel tobacco an abundance of snacks and sugar plus everything for phones and devices let's not forget coffee! All comes with a whole lotta taxes to sum up your visit:)

As the only gas station downtown, it's very convenient, though the traffic can get quite heavy at times and can get quite a bit sketchy at night.

Very bad customer service. Really disappointed. They don’t know how to talk with people…. The guy was very rude.

Very poor service and when you ask a question, sacastic response. Then if there are two they speak in their Punjabi language and laugh. I will not visit there again.

Not to impressed on how the staff just don't really care whom is in the store or opening the doors or loitering and the place us filthy and timmys staff are rude I stood waiting and asked cashier of esso if they were open nods his head I waited over 20min then I took one of the cardboard advertiser's and banged it she comes running out gives me a dirty look with additude I say what you font look at the camera she zay in a sparky voice you could have asked him pointing at the esso cashier I said I did and he knew I was waiting and did not do anything.still giving me additude with only 2doughnuts in display case only 2 wich did not have the chocolate mini eggs on them so not impressed of this place at all time for a major clean up

The only gas station in the downtown area. Always busy, filthy and empty on supplies, but it's understandable.

Staff are rather unfriendly.
No care taken to mitigate ice from snow.
No care taken to mitigate the slip hazard from people tramping in snow.

Pump times-out fast. If you ride a motorcycle, make sure your tank is open before you do anything else: the time it takes to put the card back into your wallet, and then move the key from the steering lock to the tank lid is enough for a pump to refuse pumping, and then you have to do the whole rigmarole again

They need more personal (especially that know what hey are doing.) from 5: 30am to 8 am. Monday to Saturday

And the store they need to have way better customer service. I get it's hard but if u hated why to be there? ‍️

If possible, I would rate this establishment much, much lower!

This establishment is partnered with numerous established companies, but the two entities I’ve had the worst possible experiences with on separate occasions is BCLC & Tim Horton’s; with the strict guidelines they are expected to adhere to, not to mention in these times & economy?

These people working there are incredibly rude & I have escalated the details to the parent companies/entities. Needless to say, I know at the very least their lottery license will be revoked.

All I can say is ‘Wow’! & such a simple task to adhere to!

The last gas station downtown. Easy to get too, never had any problems here and I use them regularly

Vancouver Downtown's only gas station. Nothing special but your typical neighborhood gas station. Prices of the gas is a little more expensive than Vancouver's price but almost similar to North Vancouver and West Vancouver. No complaints

The place was more or less empty when I went there. This place doesn't have a car wash, but you can check your tire pressure here. The store is also pretty big, you can buy almost anything in the store. There are three stalls and 12 filling stations in total. I fill up the gas from there all the time, I will definitely go back there again.

Never ever go there at night. Or even at 11: 00 pm. There is a bunch of homeless hanging out there threatening customers.

If you want to put petroleum in your vehicle this is certainly a place you can do that.

Quite busy though.

All convenience stores should be as helpful as this one I'll give this a 10 for customer service

This is the only gas station downtown Vancouver. Unbelievable. Service is as bad as you can possibly imagine. No competition.

I like this gas station because I can get in and out quickly. The staff are friendly and there is a large variety of snacks and such.

There is also a Tim Horton's on there too. It is the only gas station in the West end, which I appreciate.

I recommend this gas station.

Beware of the car wash, 8-10 min per car. If there are 5 cars in line you can easily wait an hour. They do not give refunds if you can’t wait and tell you to come back later when it is less busy.

Nice and fast but they could be a bit more polite to some of the people who are homeless. Otherwise its the times and they are doing a good job.

Excellent gas station. Always can choose from regular (87), plus (89), and premium (91) gas. I love pumping up at this esso because it’s the only gas station left downtown (and I live a few blocks away). They also accept credit card and have a nice selection of soda and snacks. You can even take a piss in their washroom, just have to ask for the key from the cashier.

Open very late (24hrs, not sure). Public restroom available, but very dirty. Shopping space is crowded. Check out speed is normal, sometimes pretty slow. Employees are pretty nice and friendly. Located at the intersection of the street in Vancouver downtown.

The most disgusting customer service ever. The older asian lady who works there as a cashier was EXTREMELY aggressive and yelled at and insulted anyone who walked in.

Needed water for an overheating radiator, the station does not have water for this, had to buy bottled water. Clean station for its location. Very busy as well.

Love esso, always will. But this particular location doesn't have the greatest customer service

Plenty of fuel pumps and accepted my USA credit card without issue to refuel our rental car before returning

The air pump is not working yet it accepts money and gives you about 5 seconds time to inflate your tire. When I told the gas station attendant all he would do is give back the money. He absolutely refused to put an "out of order" sign on the machine. I watched as client after client was ripped off by this mschine during the exchange - I asked him why he won't put up a simple note and his response was that it would get stolen? I asked him if he thought his answer made any sense whatsoever and he walked away saying the machine doesn't belong to Esso. How many Esso clients paid for air they never received? Reputation takes seconds to be lost. BTW, the fellows first name starts with M.
