Phenomenal breakfast sandwich and espresso, add the sundried tomato to the sandwich. You will not regret it.

They have an awesome chili, made with Montreal smoked meat. Who knew? !? ! Mmmm. Worth the little difficulty getting into the lot and parking.

I ordered a Reuben sandwich and a Poutine. Both items were fantastic. The gravy was thick with a slight pepper taste and not too salty which I enjoyed. The Reuben was the best ive ever had nicely balanced between the meat flavour and Sauerkraut. Had a nice chat with the owner (I think) while I sat. Relaxed vibe with pleasant staff. Hidden gem.

I have spent alot of time in Montreal and have eaten alot of snoked meat sandwiches. I was really looking forward to trying there authentic sandwich. Meat was shaved too thin and was really dry, it was also overpriced.

I have been going here for 20 years! Still the best around. I no longer live in langley, but will make the trek out when I can just to eat here

My father, wife and I went to Estrella’s Montreal Deli for the first time today. We’ve been to Montreal three times in the late 80’s and early 90’s. The Reuben and Montreal Smoked Meat sandwiches brought back memories of those trips. The fries, pickles, soups and salad we great too!

On a side note does anyone know where we can get Montreal style bagels, without driving into Vancouver and going to Siegal’s Bagels?

Great smoked meats. Like most places prices are going up & up. They are now charging. 50 for a slice of pickle. And $3.50 for a single stick of Karnatzel.
They are not concerned about Covid restrictions there.

The beef was a bit too dry for me but overall it was good. The poutine was incredible, the fries were like fish and chips, the gravy had so much flavour but not overly salty or heavy and the cheese was soft and not too dry.

Delicious sandwiches, small family run restaurant so the wait times can get long but definitely worth the wait!

If you ever get the chance, this is one of my favorite places to grab a bite. Prices are good, the food is amazing, and the people are so sweet.

Reading some of the reviews here and I feel I need to share my experience. I got hooked on smoked meat when I visited Montreal, and Estrellas is the only place that can satisfy my craving now. I have never had a negative experience, or had poor quality anything from here. Thanks Estrella's!

Love this place but I frequently find my self waiting on my pick up orders. I understand they want to make the food super fresh but they always start making the food when I come in to pick up. This really needs to change. I find my self waiting for atleast 10 mins everytime.

Not impressed with surcharges for pickles, three out 4 didn't want. Smoked Meat was great and tasty but given a large when not asked for the 2 sizes they offer.

I just got back from Montreal and was really hoping for Montreal style smoked meat close to home. Thick, almost "wet" its so juicy. I was a little bummed after trying this place out. The meat was shaved too thin, and was very dry even though I ordered "medium". Missed the mark. Unfortunate

Nice little local deli. Their gravy tastes great and really love their pickle choices on the side. We tried their Reuben, poutine, and Turkey deli sandwich. All were tasty and worth a try, if you love sandwiches.

The food here is great but the service is absolutely terrible. I’ve been here twice and both times the staff was not overly friendly. The back of house staff was arguing with the front of house staff and they were all running around looking so overwhelmed. The second time I came I ordered ahead and was told to arrive at 1230, when I arrive the front cashier asked the back if my order was ready, the female in the back very rudely responded “it’s not even ready yet! ” Then “it’ll be at least ten more minutes” I have zero issues with waiting but the way it was communicated and handled was not very welcoming. I doubt I will be back in the future. It has been an uncomfortable experience with the staff both times. It seems as though they have overwhelmed themselves with too many orders and cannot handle the volume. They clearly need some extra staff or to max out the number of orders they can take at once.

This smoked meat is just store bought Montreal style smoked meat. Not at all like Montreal smoked meat. I ought to know I ate a lot of smoked meat sandwiches growing up in Montreal. But all in all a decent sandwich although a bit pricey. You simply cannot get a Montreal smoked meat in BC. You simply have to go to Montreal

Great food but literally ordered the same thing as a co-worker and they gave him 2 sandwiches and me one. Also they sold me on this big pouting that didn't even cover the bottom of the box. Not worth the amount of money they charge.

I had their famous Montreal Smoked meat sandwich piled high and their regular poutine. Both were excellent and a definite do over!

It was my first time going and I found the 6oz smoked meat sandwich very tasty. I ordered the dill pickle and coleslaw and also very good. However a little pricey!

The Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich was really good, a little pricey plus charging for a pickle on the side and cheese pushes the large sandwich to almost 20$. The service was outstanding and the food was great.

Took a second to find the door: the signage is unassuming compared to the surrounding businesses. Very worth the effort though: i really appreciated the choice between lean and marbled and the clarity about the size of a small (6oz) vs a large (10oz). I'll be making a point of stopping in any time I'm in the area.

I have wanted to come here for awhile now.and it IS worth it! Montreal smoked meat sandwich is fantastic! The Montreal style coleslaw is cold and crunchy! I will be back soon! Feeling pretty content right now! It's a small deli with BIG taste!

Stopped by on our way home to pick up some of their fabulous dressing. Their montreal beef sandwiches are the best ever.

Just a little space with a lot of flavours serving the locals. Amazing sandwiches. Don't know why we don't see more smoked meat in the West. It's so tasty. Today I had a reuben and it didn't disappoint. Definitely stop by if you're in Langley.

I really can't recommend this place to anyone who knows what real Montreal smoked meat is supposed to taste like. I grew up in Montreal and this place would not survive one day there. The meat was not prepared in Montreal style. It seemed and tasted exactly like what Freybe sells as "Montreal Style" smoked meat which is more like a deli cold cut than anything sold in Montreal. The flavor and texture was totally wrong. They sliced it with a machine which is a huge no no. They have to machine slice it because it has the texture of firm deli meat. Locals probably like this because they have never had a real smoked meat sandwich. I am not saying it is a bad sandwich but I would never go back. Sorry.

Unbelievable the best Smoke Sandwich I ever try, the Sour Dough Bread was so delicious in the Reuben Sandwich and the Poutine omg was to die for, visit them in Langley you won't be sorry i hardly recommend

Yummy little mom and pop resto. Mask wearing étiquette could have been better on both the staff and patrons but otherwise a good experience

This is where you get great options, varieties of good tasting sandwiches. I definitely going back to this place.

This used to be the place to go for smoked meat sandwiches, but now it seems they have raised their prices while lowering quality, more like deli meat. I honestly felt pretty ripped off paying almost $17 for a sandwich that would have been so much better if I had just made it at home. I think it might be under new management, unfortunately not all corners cut pay off in the end! Won't be returning.

Edit: trying to tell me the experience I had was somehow incorrect is pretty sad customer service. I have been coming to this establishment for years, you can say whatever you want, it still sucked, and that's not due to an inflated cost of labour, attacking my review doesn't change that.

Best Montreal Smoked Meat east of Montreal by far!
Tried many places in the Lower Mainland but this little place is the BEST!
It melts in your mouth and it is bursting with flavours.
Going back tomorrow to get me more

A community gem! Decided to go off the beaten track and have the Italian panini. Tasty sandwich, great service. The deli was quite busy on a Saturday. Good to see they are still popular and doing well in the midst of these crazy times. Going to have to buy the packaged smoked meat and have a party!

Delicious food & coffee. Delightful people to speak with. The price is good too. The man who served me before explained me where those meat products are from. So nice. I recommend this place.

Get the marbled Montréal Smoke sandwich on Rye with Dijon mustard & a pickle. You will love it.

Delicious, homemade quality food. Unbelievable Roast Beef made in house! Any roast beef sandwich is to die for. The Montreal Smoked Meat is also done in house, and they cut the meat to your liking, ie: lean or fatty. The best Reuben I have ever had in my 50 years of life. The Homemade soups excite the taste buds, are made with hearty basic ingredients, and leaves you completely satisfied. As an alternate to the soup you have to try the unique homemade chili. It is not overly spicy, which is great, because it has the perfect balance of chili spice and smoke. Plus it is loaded with their delicious Montreal Smoked Meat, which might strike you as an odd inclusion, but it works! I could eat it every day. There is a complexity to the flavour profile while simultaneously being simple and comforting. On top of the great food, they have reasonable prices, generous and filling portions, and let's not forget the fantastic friendly customer service. You can not lose by eating at/from Estrella's.

One of the best Montreal smoked meat sandwiches. We also tried their poutine which was also great. Can't wait to try their smoked meat poutine. Too bad they are closed on Sundays, lol. We only discovered this place after Covid so didn't get a chance to dine in yet. Limited seating.
