My parents bought Honey Cake from this shop today and it tasted awful. That cake did not taste like it was made today. It tasted spoiled and had already some weird smell. I’m assuming it was several days old. This is unacceptable as you can’t sell deli or baked goods that are this old!

I value very much as a customer the nice service, great attitude and a wide variety of European food in that convenient store!

Beware! This is a RUSSIAN store with rude employees (like their soldiers) and expired groceries.

You can always find the little bits of home you’re missing here? And everyone is always helpful and welcoming.

Many different types of fruit teas and hetbal teas most from Eastern Europa.

I recommend lemon balm and manuka honey with mint from Ukraine and Syria.

Great store! Friendly staff, fresh products and good selection of food. Excellent value for money and quality.

Love this place. Great selection of Georgian sauces, Riga sprats, fresh Napoleon cake, cold smoked sturgeon, variety of caviar. Everything I ever would need for fancy dinner party.

I always buy so much that the gentleman (owner maybe?) behind the counter gives me a discount.

For the negative commentators - make borscht not war. This place is half Ukrainian and the other half peace loving folks.

The friendliest place in Vancouver area. Not only you can get there the gems of Russian food, i.e famous Russian Black Borodin Bread, buckwheat cereal, and a plethora of homemade pirozhki and pickles, but also you can have a very pleasant chat about anything. This is literally my second home.

Decent selection of products made in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Perogies, home made cakes, smoked fish and sausages. Friendly staff. They have on site Meest International shipping services.

If you speak Russian or Polish you will love this place as it brings an old back at home feeling

I agree with Ed VonDorn about the service. Feels like they’re more attentive to their more frequent customers, otherwise you’ll be waiting for a while for a service. The quality of food went down in the last 6 months as well, especially in the “homemade” section: perogies with meat really dropped in quality, dried fish is nothing but a lump of rancid salt.

What I like in this store is the great variety of tea, jams, veggie cans and smoked fish. What I don't like is the old grumpy woman cashier who has zero knowledge of customer service and possibly believes she is still in Siberia somewhere. I avoid to go there on weekends, it ruins my mood.

Good selection of nonperishable food products from "Eastern Europe". However, be aware most of them made in Toronto, New York, or even China. Fish most of the times is very bad. I mean VERY BAD. Most Russian speaking cashiers have zero customer service skills and horrible attitude.

Great selection. Fantastic Hungarian sausages, wonderful herbal teas, Eastern European candies, egg noodles, readymade cabbage rolls.

I bought a big smoked frozen salmon, and it was bad! As soon as I defrosted it, the taste was awful and it had a strong - not a good smell.

Great selection of Russian and European food. Excellent service. Warm atmosphere. The one and only discouraging factor is a bit high prices.

My favorite place for all Russian pilmeni, kapusta, blini, salad oil, etc! And if you come on time they have freshly baked Russian bulki with fillings. Yum yum
