Purchased an engagement ring through European Goldsmith. The service was pretty good to start. I cant remember the name of the lady I dealt with. I had the ring custom made so it was going to take a few weeks to get here but was told it would be here before the trip I had planned to ask the big question. It didn't show up in time because the diamond didn't fit the ring properly. This was a bummer but I was okay with it. The ring finally comes in and I go ask the question. Afterwards my fiancee tells me that European Goldsmith left her a voicemail a couple weeks prior to me asking the question asking her to call them back. When she does they say there must have been a misdial. I am assuming they mixed up who had bought the ring for who and accidentally called her instead of me. So unfortunately the surprise wasn't much of a surprise after all. Pretty disappointed, wish I had gone elsewhere. I will say she loved the ring and I was also impressed with the way the ring turned out.

Kim was so amazing and helped me pick out the engagement ring of my dreams. When my partner went in to discuss the ring and prices etc.she was so knowledgeable and made the process so easy for him! I highly recommend the European Goldsmith to everyone I talk to!

Overall a great experience. My husband had my engagement ring custom made here. He loved working with Kim. She was very knowledgeable. During covid times she went above and beyond to make sure we received our ring on time. We also got our wedding band custom made here. She understood exactly what I wanted and had it created. Purchased engagement ring and wedding bands here (last year, late review). Staff was extremely patient during my selection of the engagement ring as I was looking for something specific and even encouraged me to shop around.

When we got our custom wedding bands there was an issue with one of the bands. European Goldsmith immediately took responsibility for the error, offered several very reasonable options to remedy the situation, and executed the solution in a very timely manner. Mistakes happen in business, but it is how they resolved this issue which has earned them my future business.

Have nothing but positives to say about our experience with European Goldsmith. Went in to look at engagement rings, and met with Katherine, who was a delight to deal with. She went above and beyond for a period of months, while we carefully selected the perfect ring for us.a bit of indecisiveness on our part, but she stuck with us all the way, following up, and working with many different options to keep us in our budget. Ended up bringing in our own diamond, which John set beautifully into our dream ring, and matching wedding band. Went back a few months later during their wedding band sale, to find a man band, and made sure to source out Katherine again for her impeccable help. Once again, we were met with great service, and walked away with a mens ring that we both loved. Had our engagement ring cleaned there as well, and within 5 minutes, John had looking as sparkly as the day we picked up it. After dealing with a couple of other shops before finding European Goldsmith, I can honestly say, don't waste your time elsewhere, go in and talk to Katherine, John and all the great staff here

Starting with her engagement ring they understand the importance of making sure we had Canada Mark diamonds that were conflict free and unique to us, having worked at Canadian diamond mine. Equally as important is the memories that have been made during this process. We dealt primarily with Katherine who is one of the nicest people you’ll ever want to meet. Genuine. Just genuine and very knowledgeable. Nothing is a problem. The store is beautiful with all windows for tons of natural light and the atmosphere is so conducive to a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Ring shopping as a 23 year old can be a daunting task however the whole of the European Goldsmith team made me feel welcome and comfortable right from my first visit, when I sat outside for ten minutes questioning if I should even go in. They are all inviting and charming people which builds to the structure of their business. Through my many visits, I got to see most of the staff interact with customers and they ALL placed both me and the people coming through above a sales goal or commission cheque. John and his wife have built a corporate structure on personal relationships and customer satisfaction and I am very thankful that I was able to give some of what I have to their business.

John has truly built something special and made me feel genuinely appreciated as he worked with my tight time frame both during the customization process and resizing.

Katherine was the associate I personally worked with, she helped guide me to place my fiancé vision ahead of my initial thought and I could not have been more ecstatic with the final result. It’s nothing that I would have ever found without her help and it fits my fiancé perfectly (my fiancé personally thanked her afterwards).

The rest of the European Goldsmith team was positive eyes and constant encouragement during my interactions. No other store made me feel as at ease as I did while at European Goldsmith.

I visited the new location of European Goldsmith for the first time since they moved from the mall. Very different feel from the mall. More open and modern. The customer service was fantastic! Pardon me for not remembering her name but she was lovely to speak with and since I was in to have my rings cleaned and to have the claws checked we got to talking about preserving the quality of the claws and the bands and she suggested I weld them together. I was slightly hesitant but agreed with preserving the quality by preventing them from general wear and tear of the rings rubbing against each other. I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up my rings two days later. My rings are very dainty and I love the way they look side by side. Now they don't spin around my finger and the diamonds are perfectly placed. Thank you European Goldsmith!
