Wonderful! We've seen a real progression of skill over the past two years. Thank you, Evelia and Sandra!

Terrible experience, I took an art class for my child and ended up with no certificate for the child, when the other children did. Just because we didn't continue to attend the next course. My child does not have a certificate when all the children have certificates. My child is very sad. They do not qualify to be educators. Please don't go to this painting center.

My daughter (10 yo) and I have been taking painting classes at Evelia’s studio. We both love learning the techniques while having the freedom to choose our own pictures to paint. My daughter appreciates the seriousness of the program and I enjoy the peaceful, supportive environment.

My kid love the studio, has been there for 6 years and wants to keep going. The staff is really nice and they teach the students different techniques and appreciation of art. We are very pleased with their program.

Neighbours with this studio and the owner is a joke. Overcrowded classes. Does not obey capacity rules. With all the toxins in art supplies, there are no windows. Just a small fan. She has her kids writing reviews for her to compensate for the negative reviews being left. This place deserves to be looked into since there are children being stuffed into a small space with no extra hoods or venting system.

Patience, kindness, hardwork. Highly recommend this company to anyone interested in art. Especially good for children!

My 8 year old daughter has been attending Evelia's art classes for two years now and she absolutely loves them. We've seen such a great improvement in her art. They teach the kids technique and expose them to a variety of mediums. I can most certainly recommend the studio.

Owner is a joke. Waste of money. No ventilation or windows. Just a little fan. You’re kids will get sick here. They leave positive reviews for themselves to get their ratings up. Don’t waste your money. Much better art teachers with actual degrees elsewhere.

Bitter and pathetic. Makes things personal and has a dark attitude. No quality in her artwork and basically a waste of money. Take your kids to Port Moody Art Centre- Cheaper and more qualified Instructors. Has her kids teacher classes with no qualifications. No windows, toxic environment.

Bad with Kids. Evelia is unsympathetic and uncoordinated. Discrimates against certain kids and is impatient. Uses favouritism techniques. Would not recommend.

Three of my children have been to Evelia's studio. My daughter is now a graphic designer. She owes her interest in art to Evelia. I would recommend this studio to anyone.

I have been working with Evelia Espinosa’s Art Studio for many years. Evelia loves ALL her students and always wants to see them succeed. Evelia is compassionate, respectful and overall a great teacher. She has inspired many students to pursue careers in the arts and as such has expanded the creativity of the many lives she’s touched. Evelia is a force to reckon with in this field and her studios positive and inspiring legacy will continue on over the years. If you are looking for a place that your children can not only enjoy but learn the many different techniques of art, I would highly encourage and recommend that you visit her studio.

Evelia Espinosa Art Studio has been a highlight for me throughout the years. I started there when I was young which helped me to develop technique and led to me eventually choosing a career path in the creative industry as a graphic designer. At the art studio the students are taught various techniques and concepts and can move at their own pace which is ideal. Evelia has set up the classes to have kids of all ages which is especially great for the younger kids who look up to the advanced students and get a good example of the things they can eventually do as they grow as an artist. Before being a part of the studio I never knew I would go down the path of being an artist and designer. Evelia provided the ideal environment at the studio to nurture that artistic side of me I didn't realize I had.

I was a teacher at Evelia Espinosa’s art studio for over 10 years. I have seen this business grow over the years and I can promise you that if you go here you will not be disappointed. This art studio is unique in its format and in its content when it comes to art classes for kids. They focus on very technical aspects and go into detail about teaching complex subjects such as colour theory, art history and the elements of art in addition to many more subjects. Evelia is a highly qualified individual who has multiple advanced certifications in fine art from Emily Carr university as well as degrees in teaching and psychology. Her approach to teaching is unique and her love of art is undeniable. There is no better place to take your kids to learn oil painting. They are very professional in their setup and their way of working. You will not be disappointed from the minute you walk in. I can guarantee that.

Before I took the art lessons, I like to paint but I didn't know how. I now find painting very intriguing. The teachers are nice, helpful, and teach me various techniques like blending, painting snow, and drawing with pastels. And the best is that they give me the freedom to paint my favourite subjects with the techniques I learn. I want to continue.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Evelia and her staff are all very encouraging and extremely talented. If you have an interest in art and you're in the lower mainland, do yourself a favour and check out this place!

Great place to learn, kids are encouraged to explore their creativity while also learning the fundamentals of art, as well as exploring a wide range of styles of art, teachers are very helpful and do their best to push students to reach their full potential

Evelia and her staff are all very helpful, professional and incredibly talented. I highly suggest this place for anyone who has an interest in art! So glad I checked it out! Cannot recommend this place enough!

My son started at Evelia Espinosa's Art Studio three years ago. My son tried out on a try out session and felt he would like to continue. During these three years, my son rarely shows his unwillingness to go to the studio for his lessons. I am pleased that I don't need to push him to an extracurricular activity, and I also see the significant progress of his painting skills. Thanks to the following three characters of this studio:

1. Welcoming atmosphere with music.

2. Small size class with plenty assistance by teacher and teacher's assistants.

3. Students learn on their own pace and enjoy the learning process.

My grandson's most recent pastel portrait of an old man is beautifully done; and not only that, it's most amazing! He said he did it from a photo but little did he know that the man closely resembles my dad who passed away for over 10 years. I still miss him very much and the portait is a comfort. I thank the Studio for a great job in developing my grandson's interest and skill in art!

I attended Evelia Espinosa's Art Studio for 11 years and was always met with a welcoming, exciting space to create and grow as an artist. I have learned an invaluable amount from Evelia and her teachers and they inspired my love for art. I recommend the art studio to kids of all ages- whether your child is only 5 and shows an emerging interest in art, 10 and looking to explore, or 16 and want to develop their skills further, all ages have something to gain from the art classes at Evelia Espinosa's Art Studio.

If you want to see what the children learn, visit the Children's Art Festival in Port Moody in June - you'll be blown away. Amazing.
