For someone who has only pennies to spare and maybe new in town. This is a great place to start. Resources, and more.

They provide meals which include 2 drinks and breakfast, lunch and dinner are all $2 each! You can arrange for automatic payments that can be paid to them directly and you just tell them your account number and they take whatever you got from the balance available in your account! They also do free laundry and have showers available, free WiFi, various places to sit down and a large number of plugins to charge your devices! There is a TV room, free clothes and shoes and an outside courtyard in the back! The staff are good, they are all fairly nice! It's a really good place to go especially if you are homeless! Sometimes I do laundry there just because drying off just a small load of laundry in my building usually takes at least 1 and a half to 2 hours!

Friendly staff that I know work there new location and I drop by there atimes for a bite. Cafeteria style. Open at 9am food finishes by 6pm

A great full cheap meal for 2$ if you can get past the staff treating you like dirt. Also if your in recovery this is not the place for you.

Great place for cheap food albeit would be nice to switch up the menu once in a while. Wish they would ave kept the pancakes and french toast. Showers are well maintained. Only problem with them is listening to the toilet flush continually as you move around in there. Other than that they have lots of lockers available, tv room and lots of places to plug in so. I gave a 4 star rating.

This place is the best. Helping hand out there nowhere can you get a full meal for just 2 dollars, not only that they have showers also they will do you're laundry. THANK YOU YOU'RE THE BEST

2 bucks will get you a pretty decent meal, but you should be understanding of other people's situation here.

It will do in a pinch if you are on hard times and need a inexpensive meal or your laundry done. Meant for low income people with in the DTES.

The staff is very nice! It has relatively good food for the price of $2 per meal! You get a full meal, desert and two drinks! There are showers and they will do your laundry! There's a TV room and they also have bingo on occasion! Im sure they have other services available but unsure of what they might be exactly! Overall a really good community centre!

For me the best meal of the day is breakfast as always I can eat it anytime of the day but at the 44 club Evelyn salary center the breakfast for $2 is amazing you will never find a deal like it as for all the other foods they're so so breakfast runs from 10: 00 a.m. Till 12: 00 p.m. And if anyone in the area looking for a great cheap breakfast hit it on up.

The food was good best I've had since I lived here in Vancouver British Columbia Canada. For a bargain price of $2 it was very good well prepared food it was like an old time theme of style food but in a modern setting

Awesome place to get a good sleep. Warm and safe, gives blankets and let's couples put Matt's together. No drug use in the center. Love it. Great shelter

Great place for community cheap food, quality service and the taste unmatched, free laundry and free haircuts on Sundays all in all the best place in the lower East side.

It has the best and cheapest meals 3 times a day for $2 and with the grab and go it is quick. Also had ample picnic tables for eating and being social with open space. Only draw back is it's attached to Wish society and can be like the Burbs

I'm on call there. They serve good meals for the people with very low income or non at all. I appreciate serving them.

Went there for sleep, was ok quiet for the most part. The staff are good, I use the cafeteria tv room and showers from time to time.

This place saves lifes by offering 2 dollar meals, laundry, showers more services are available but hate texting.some say staff are rude but when yr treated like dirt by dope sime ppl all day they are allowed to let go every now and then.they treat me extremely decent cause i show them respect for there hard work.they deserve 10 stars

It's a good spot for anyone. It has good food. Inexpensive to. Staff are helpful. Comfortable environment if you can handle alot of people.

$2 meal cafeteria is a great service for less fortunate people. Food quality could be improved, everything is cheap pre-processed.

Excellent resource for the homeless and others down on their luck. Places like this make all the difference if you're trying to get your sh*t back together. Great meals for an incredible price. Great staff.

The Evelyne Saller Center is a safe place for individuals to get a meal and hang out. This place could also provide helpful resources for those who may be struggling with homelessness, poverty or addictions.
There's always someone to sit with and possibly share some encouraging words.
We all need that at times right?

I totally love the food and you can't go wrong on the price's either. It's a good place to go if you have time to kill, you can go and play pool with the friendly people there, or you can watch television. They also have shower facilities for homeless people and laundry services. It's a great place all in all. So anyone wanting to save a lil money on food go check it out.

It has low cost food, showers, laundry, a pool table, I think they also do free haircuts on Sundays but not entirely sure they still do that or not! I imagine they would have other services available? But not sure of that either but it's a good place, they also have a tv area where you can watch TV!

It's not the best people but it's a place to get clean and charge you're phone if you can put up with the trash talking.

My roommate got thrown out of here for jerking off while high on down. They run a tight ship. Be there at 8: 30am mon-fri if you need free laundry service. Thursday is pancake day. $2.

Here is an establishment that for the poor and special need. They have a food program, $2 meals starting at 10am until 5: 45pm Monday thru Sunday.

The saller centre is a good place, it is a little out of the way from most other places useful to anyone however altho the meals are most always good and at two bucks each, nowhere else compares. It is not a place for the status quo or upwardly mobile tho, altho it is a fine award winning building.

Was there in my teens and early 20's as a recipient of Welfare. The Staff were very kind and understanding and the Breakfast, lunch and dinner could be compared to what you'd get if you went to some fancy restaurant. These people genuinely care about those who live in the DTES.

They do laundry, you can take a shower, watch a movie, take a load off, shoot pool, talk to nice people, get a hot meal for 2$.
