I purchased my wedding dress from EBTG and loved my experience! I went to a few other bridal stores and this was by far the best one. I love how private the rooms are. It's a very intimate moment and being displayed in front of the entire store, like some other bridal stores do, made me very self conscience. I felt safe and accepted here which was super important to me! I can't single any staff out as I'm pretty sure I had every one of them help me at some point (I came back multiple times before making my final decision) and they are all so wonderful. I recommend EBTG any chance I can! Thank you for making my wedding dress shopping experience a thousand times better than I thought it would be.

I absolutely love EBTG. I'm currently in the search for my perfect dress and they have been amazing from the start! Booking my initial appointment was super easy. I love the try-on areas as they are large, comfy, and accommodating. I've had 2 different consultants with my initial and follow up appointment whom were both fabulous! Also in dealing with two different ladies at the front, I found them helpful, encouraging and supportive with my indecisiveness. Excited to go back for my final pick and later for alterations.

My niece went to go get her prom dress and they said she could only bring two people so the moment i had been waiting for since she was little i missed out on. That is a moment in her life i was looking the most forward to that i will now never get back. Thanks alot for nothing! I will never shop here now either i suggest you dont either! Super pissed. On their web it says 6 but thats only if you are getting married apperently. So the othet moments in peoples lives like prom we dont get to be involved. This to me says you the family are not important. Just something to think about.

In response to the fire regulations i got in touch with my husbands dad who has been a fire caption for 35 years and he said thats not the case for that size of a place. Also on the website it says it allows upto 6.so not buying it sorry. I stand by my review.

After trying on 30+ wedding dresses, I found my gown at EBTG! As a very detailed oriented bride, Yvonne and Tara helped me with my dress choice and eased my concerns without feeling pressured into buying. In the end, I decided to go with them and I'm really happy to be buying from a local shop like this one!

I had the best experience looking for a wedding dress with everything but the groom! Olivia & Heidi are the sweetest people ever. Olivia was the one helping me with all my dress’s and made me feel comfortable and confident and she has great taste! This store has dress’s in multiple sizes, lots to choose from and the cutest private rooms. Love it here! I also bought my grad dress here in 2014 and it was a great experience as well. We arrived shortly after store opening to find a grad dress for my grand daughter. We were warmly greeted by Olivia who offered to help us find a prom dress for grad “later in the day”…. Even though we hadn’t made an appointment. Olivia was lovely, she reassured my grand daughter that we would find something and set out to help. The first dress fit perfectly, looked beautiful and was even the color we had hoped for. Olivia’s compassion for the situation was heart warming and she made this an amazing grad dress shopping experience! Thank you Olivia for the miracle you pulled off today…. We know how fortunate we are to have you graciously allow us to shop without an appointment and ultimately find a beautiful dress six hours before graduation.

I recently purchased my wedding dress from Everything but the groom in Langley and they are simply AMAZING. Every step of the way they were so helpful and so professional. We purchased our bridal party gowns there as well. From the first appointment to the final alterations, Everything but the Groom handled everything. There is no better place in the Fraser Valley when shopping for your wedding dress!

Anita was such a good consultant and really listened to what I liked and didn't like. I told her a few dresses into the appointment that all the dresses are starting to look the same, that was when she brought in a totally different dress which turned out to be THE DRESS. I really thought I was going to have troubles making up my mind about a dress, but with Anita's help I found it in the first appointment.

Yvonne the manager was so great to deal with. She made every interaction feel so personal. I felt like she really cares about everyone's experience when they are looking for what some people call "the most important dress of your life"

Noushin the seamstress did such an amazing job altering my dress, and keeping the pattern on the dress look flowing and natural. She listened to every concern, from the length, the boning in chest, and the sequins rubbing on the back of my arm. She really made my dress super comfortable to wear on my special day.

I took my best friend to go prom dress shopping with me (who had also just purchased a dress from this location which she loved). Everyone was very kind and very friendly, there was a great welcoming atmosphere and they’re very nice and funny people in general. My consultant was Jesse and she was perfect. She was kind and friendly and honestly it just felt very easy to talk to her. After trying on the dresses we picked off the rack, she picked out this perfect red dress for me and I knew I wanted it the second I tried it on. She explained all the details about the sale and honored the sale price since I was a day early. She was also the one who helped my friend (we both loved her). When I was checking out, the two ladies at the front were great and I left in a wonderful mood. I’m absolutely in love with my dress but even if I hadn’t bought one, the customer service would have still deserved this 5 star review. They were wonderful!

Good service and friendly staff. The areas for trying on dresses are in private rooms and are very comfortable which made me feel pampered. The selection is rather small though which is the only downside but it is a small store so that is to be expected.

I found my wedding dress here on my first visit. Everyone was so welcoming and the stylist I worked with, Tara, was absolutely amazing. She really listened to my thoughts, but also encouraged me to try different things. I ended up choosing a dress she picked! Throughout I felt so empowered and supported. As someone who struggles with self-confidence, that was absolutely huge for me - I felt nothing but beautiful during my time in the store. Thank you!

I had the worst experience at Everything but the Groom since starting this dress shopping experience. As we first walked in we were given clips to clip on dresses I saw that I liked. I immediately felt overwhelmed and anxious then “stylist”comes around the corner and almost bodychecks my mom instead of asking her to move politely. “She then aggressively says she will be a minute” she doesn’t introduce herself to the group or myself we only now know her name now since it’s on their website.
We then are moved into a private area.not once did the stylist ask my dress size, or go into depth on what style of dress I wanted, or budget until I already had a dress on. The “stylist”made a strange comment before I tried on my dress as she looked me up and down telling me I can take my bra on or off and underwear on or off that she’s “seen it all”. The stylist then had me try on one dress and immediately told me “you know it doesn’t fit right? ”she then asked me to put my bra back on as I did she STAYED IN THE SMALL DRESSING ROOM WITH ME… the “stylist” then proceeded to tell me that “all the dresses I picked were not going to work for me“. (I am a curvy girl and only picked dresses from the curvy section so please keep that in mind) the “stylist”then told me I don’t know what will look good on me only she will know. Marcy made me feel very uncomfortable and not confident in my body, as I came out in my second dress within seconds I was sobbing. My mom went to talk to the “Stylist” and Heidi the owner of Everything but the groom to let them know we will be leaving and the “stylist” had said something that had offended my daughter, and the “stylist” told my mom “isn’t she aware that that those dresses won’t work for her” the “stylist” then came STORMING back to me in the dressing room as I was putting on my street clothes to leave yelling at me trying to talk and accusing me of not understanding her and taking it too far. As we walked out the store the Owner Heidi did nothing to diffuse the situation all she said was “thank you for coming” We were all appalled about the situation Heidi the owner allowed Marcy to come back aggressively at me and did nothing to intervene. I would avoid booking with Marcy at all costs. I’ve never been so embarrassed about my body in my whole life. As this is already a vulnerable situation to be in she did not at all try to make me feel beautiful. I bet they have other lovely stylist there but this “stylist” is not one! Very disappointed in the service we were given. As an owner of the Store Heidi should manage her staff better and how they treat customers.

After an awful experience at David’s Bridal I was feeling sort of down and as soon as I walked into Everything But The Groom I was saved. Everything here is perfect and I couldn’t say enough about this place. 2 of my friends got theirs here too!

I originally went to EBTG to purchase my prom dress and had an absolutely amazing experience and the consultant I had listened to my wants and nots and found me my beautiful prom dress.
I decided to go back to find my wedding dress as I am now getting married! Unfortunately, my experience was not as good as the first. I picked a bunch of different dress styles to try on and as soon as I put on one style (literally my first dress) and said I liked it the consultant took away all the other styles I had picked and brought back only the one style… I ended up spending an hour trying on different variations of the same dress I said I liked and the consultant made me feel forced to say yes to one of them. (She put a veil on me and gave me a fake bouqet and made me walk down the hall towards a mirror but it wasn’t ultimately what I wanted and I felt super defeated.)
I wish my consultant would have listened to my original vision that I described when I came in.

Went in with my bride friend to find her dress for her upcoming wedding and it was our favourite store out of the 3 we went to. The staff was fantastic! And when I say that, I mean every single person we spoke to was so sweet and friendly. Everyone was so professional, but we still felt super relaxed and comfortable, and like our consultant was just one of the girls helping us shop. They have a beautiful selection of wedding gowns, but also bridesmaid and prom dresses. I would 100% definitely recommend this place to any future brides. Prices are reasonable as well, considering what the product is.

Jessica was an amazing consultant, very kind and patient, and never showed me anything I said didn’t want or anything over my budget. Noushin explained to me all the options for my alterations and my dress looks great! Every single staff member is absolutely lovely, the private rooms are beautiful, and I will definitely be recommending this store to others.

I said “yes” to the dress at EBTG yesterday and absolutely loved my experience. It was my second time visiting and trying on a dress I couldn’t get out of my mind, and the experience was everything I always dreamed it would be! Jessie was my consultant and I’m so glad she was! She asked great questions and took my preferences into account. Along the way, she pulled more dresses that I didn’t pull initially so that I’d have more options. I’m definitely going back to narrow my search down even more and I hope to work with Jessie again! ️

Of the three stores I had been to, this was by far the best and it is where I will be going back to purchase my dream dress.

Out of all the bridal boutiques I went to, the team at EBTG went an extra step and beyond. From the very first appointment the consultants made my anxieties disappear and reminded me to have fun. It literally felt like a dress party with all my bridesmaid's, mother-in-law and a virtual call from my mom in Montreal. The only minor thing I would like to note is some loose threads were left on the dress and unfortunately the string of the bustle broke almost immediately. Overall would definitely recommend Everything But The Groom!

Fantastic experience! Marcy was our bridal consultant, and she was amazing- she listened to all of the details the bride (my friend) wanted and showed multiple options that were all beautiful! She had a great eye for what would look good combined with what the bride wanted. A successful bridal shopping trip- would highly reccomend!

We went bridesmaids dress shopping and I was extremely underwhelmed and disappointed in the selection of dresses they had available to try on for anyone past a size 12. If you are plus size then you will have basically 2 different versions of the same dress to try on. After my last shopping trip there I would say unless you want the most basic chiffon dress, this place is not size inclusive if you want a true shopping experience. Our statement that there is not a lot of variety offered was acknowledged, to which the reply was they just receive boxes of dresses and have no say in any of the style or sizes. This place has a great selection of dresses I just wish we could have tried them on. After the disappointing experience at EBTG, we went to a nearby bridal shop on a whim and they had a huge variety of styles and sizes and we found our dresses.

When purchasing a bridesmaid from this store off the rack the employee did not make the return policy clear. She simply stated to sign that you understand and this is an off the rack purchase. The week following when wanting to return the unaltered off the rack dress the store manager said it was not possible, and that the employee stated at the time of purchase that it was final sale. This statement was untrue and delivered in an impertinent manner. This policy would be deemed reasonable for a special order or altered dress, but for an off the rack purchase seems extreme and unwarranted.

Anita and Yvonne were amazing! Super knowledgeable and helpful and made it a wonderful and personal experience!

I took my sister here to look for a wedding dress, this was our second shop and we were overjoyed by the whole experience. The staff were exceptional, warm, knowledgeable and they helped my sister find the wedding dress of her dreams for under her budget! Awesome customer service. Young lady that helped our daughter pick her Prom dress was very informative and knew her stuff.

I would give 0 stars if that option was available. The customer service at this establishment is unacceptable. The employee did not make the return policy clear upon purchase, leaving me with a dress that I will not be using. The manager was unprofessional and dismissive when trying to return the item. You'd think that they would care more about ensuring their customers are content about their purchases for their special day. Will not be returning to this store, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

I went for my first time to this store yesterday for early grad dress shopping. It was such an amazing experience looking through all the dresses and picking my favourites to try on. The rooms to try on were spacious and had plenty of places to sit and view your dress in the large mirrors. I was helped by Olivia who was so sweet and encouraging. She really took the time to make you feel special in your dress. I tried on my top four before she went out to look for more dresses that fit my style. After about three dresses, I tried on the one that was so right for me! I ended up buying it right when I got home. Overall, I had a great time shopping in this store. The ladies there are so kind and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be going back in the future!

Went in looking for a bridesmaid dress and loved the options that were brought out. The employees all make it a fun atmosphere and helped me find a beautiful dress. Each dress was clipped so you could see how it really fits when its altered and that helped pick which dress flattered me best.

Im driving from Vancouver and called to ask if I could walk in and check their dresses, they told me that is by appointment only.she didnt mind I was coming from so far away and it was impossible to have me trying on dresses. I dont understand how you turn clients away. They are not very accomodative. And the store looks completely empty, how could they not serve a client?

I had an amazing experience getting my wedding dress from Everything But The Groom! I had already been to their store when my best friend got her dress and the wonderful Tara helped her, so I'd hoped that Tara would be my consultant too (and not just because we share the same awesome name) and to my luck she was my consultant! Her energy is infectious and she helped me say "yes" to the dress! She made the moment feel extra special! When my dress was ready to take home, the seamstress insisted I keep it with them to steam it before the big day, so not only did they store it for me until right before the wedding but they steamed it so it was perfect and ready to go!

I had Terra as my consultant and she was absolutely amazing! Due to covid I was not allowed to browse through the dresses but Terra assured me that she will be able to pick out the perfect dress that I wanted. She was right! She knew exactly what I wanted and didn't want. She made me feel very comfortable and I had the best experience and purchased my dream wedding dress there. As a plus size bride I was dreading the wedding dress shopping experience. I had gone to several stores in Vancouver and New West (mind you I had no budget so I could have spent thousands) and none had sample plus size dresses with sleeves. It was frustrating to say the least and trying on gowns 4 sizes smaller than mine and try to visualize how mi size would look like it’s not something you want to hear, specially when you’re spending 2k+ on a dress.
Anyways EBTG was recommended by me and OMG the drive from Vancouver was so worth it! They made me feel great, they had gorgeous dresses on my size and Sophie was super helpful and delightful. I found my dress and they got not only my business but also all my friends that are brides to be.

Best Experience by FAR! I honestly tried on probably 50 dresses and went to 7 different stores before walking into EBTG. I was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. Tara was my consultant for the appointment and she was beyond friendly, encouraging and knew exactly what she was talking about. Yvonne, the manager was fantastic! I felt so heard and they knew exactly what I wanted. Trying to plan a wedding during Covid has been tricky and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to have a “typical” yes to the dress experience. I am here to tell you that EBTG is a high class welcoming place to be. I found my dress and finally had that “YES” feeling everyone talks about. I can’t say enough wonderful things. This place screams inclusivity in terms of gender, sexual orientation, body positivity and budget. Way to go EBTG! You’re huge selection and fun atmosphere won me over. Plus, supporting local is always a bonus! Get your prom, event or wedding outfit here!

Everything But The Groom was the first bridal salon I visited while wedding dress shopping, and I had a fantastic experience here! The salon was so cute and clean, and we even had our own private room for trying on and showing the wedding gowns.

Tara was our consultant and I knew right away I was going to have a great experience due to her friendly, upbeat personality and good sense of humor. I showed her some inspiration pictures for my wedding gown and she was able to pull around 10 dresses for me to try on that were super similar to what I was looking for. I am a larger gal (Size 18 - 20 in regular clothes) so I was worried that the sample sizes available would be limited, but I didn't have this problem at all. The selection of styles and sizes of wedding dresses at EBTG was great!

Ultimately I ended up purchasing a dress from a different bridal store, but my experience at EBTG made me feel so beautiful and confident. It was such a great first experience at a bridal store after reading some of the horror stories that brides, especially plus sized, can go through. I would highly recommend EBTG to anyone looking for a wedding dress. Thank you to the staff for such a great experience!

Can't recommend this place enough! EBTG has a beautiful selection of dresses and the staff are wonderful. It was a very memorable experience finding my dream dress here. I'm also very glad I decided to get my alterations done here too. The seamstress was very attentive and understood exactly what my vision was and how to do it. She provided some great suggestions for making the dress look even better on my body type. I've loved every experience I've had with this salon and love that I get to be an EBTG bride.

This store is small and does not have a huge bridal gown selection, but their dress quality and selection to choose from seem to shine and be a hit with women.

I would recommend coming here to look for your gown if you are interested in heavily laced gowns. I was looking for something more simple and did not find anything of that style here, but if you are looking for something with lace, this is the place to come!

I had the best time! Tara is beyond AMAZING! I connected with her right away and felt like I was shopping with my best friend! She made sure I found the dress and had zero doubts about anything. She was patient, listened and not once did I feel rushed! Everything but the Groom has a great selection and everyone was knowledgeable and super helpful. After looking for a bit I am thrilled and beyond in love with my dress.

We had a great experience here! We went to this store first and they set the bar high for other boutiques with the store which was clean and not too crowded. Our consultant made me and my family feel comfortable and she did not pressure us at all. I found a dress that I loved but I was looking for a wedding dress with sleeves which this one did not have. I went to a few other shops around Langley and New West but found other boutiques didnt have a large selection of dresses to try on that werent a size 6.

In the end I said yes to one of the first dresses I tired on at Everything but the Groom having the seamstress add on a full sleeve to the dress (with alterations the dress is still cheaper then most of the ones at other places)

Amazing experience with staff, particularly Olivia, who was able to assist me and answer all my questions and concerns. Wonderful variety of garments and offered some sage advice.

This is a great place to shop! Beautiful selection of wedding, bridesmaid, and formal dresses. Olivia provides unmatched customer service. She went beyond my expectations (as the maid of honour). The bride had limited time to find a dress, since she was only in town for a couple days. Olivia's ability to zero in on that perfectly flattering style was phenomenal and made the decision easy. The EBTG boutique has private fitting rooms that are elegantly appointed with sofas and a modelling stage to allow the bride and her entourage to relax and put on a fashion show. The dresses ordered are expertly altered to measure (for reasonable fees). If you aren't sure what you want or are looking for a very specific style, look no further. I highly recommend Olivia at Everything But The Groom as someone to help guide you.

I had a phenomenal experience at EBTG. I came with my mom and sister to search for a wedding dress for my September 2020 wedding. I was immediately greeted upon arrival and introduced to my consultant, Olivia. Let me tell you – this girl is fire! She was so unbelievably personable and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I didn’t even need to show her a picture of what I had in mind. She immediately knew what I wanted. She felt like a friend I’ve known my entire life. Olivia went above and beyond what I ever could have expected during my appointment. She gave me her honest opinions about the dresses I tried and never stopped making me feel beautiful and comfortable in my own skin the entire time I was there. My dream dress isn’t just a fantasy anymore. I’m happy to say I found my perfect, dream dress, thanks to EBTG and Olivia! You guys are amazing! Thank you!

I took my daughter grad dress shopping and of the various stores visited this one not only had a wide selection but separate rooms with lots of mirrors so she could see how it looked without having to squeeze around other shoppers to see the mirror.

This was the first wedding dress store that I had been to out of 3 total stores. And, this is the store that I have decided to purchase from due to the reassurance and non pressurized sales with very genuine people. My first consultation was amazing with Tara, she was lively and cheerful and very energetic. She helped make a very memorable moment with my family, and picked up beautiful dresses for me to try on. My family really enjoyed meeting with Tara, and her help with the dresses and tears were shed. While I had an extremely positive experience, I had only gone to EBTG to try on dresses to see how they would look and experience, as I had not yet made up my mind, believing also I should give other stores and dresses a try. I had, however chosen 2 favourite dresses at EBTG. Now while I had gone to 2 other dress stores and had a decent experience, and even with one store having the 2 favourite dresses that I had seen at EBTG plus a new dress I fell abosuletly in love with, I decided to call EBTG to see if they had the dress I had tried on at this other store and they did. Once I knew that EBTG had the dress I wanted, I knew this was where I wanted to buy my dress. EBTG had never made me feel any pressure to make a purchase, never any pressure to choose on the spot, and made me feel reassured about myself. What topped it all off for me at EBTG was Yvonne, who I had spoken on the phone, who took time to understand my concerns and stress, and when I met her in person everything was solidfied for me. Yvonne is one of the most genuine people I have met in retail, who gave myself and mother a wonderful hug, explained the dress sizing/ordering process, and was very oberservant even making a very kind comment on my ring. Thank you to Everything But The Groom for the wonderful selections of dresses at very reasonable prices, and thank you Tara for my very great consultation, and thank you Yvonne for your kindness and help in one of my most important and nerve racking purchases I have had to make.

They know everything what customers need! Super friendly.we went there for my daughter's prom dress, we didn't end up buying at that time.but we will definitely visit again! Very nice bridal boutique in downtown Langley. Me and the other bridesmaids were here for a bridesmaid dress fitting. We loved one of the dresses, but we chose not to buy due to our strict budget. Although we didn't buy our dress here, we enjoyed our experience. Anita was very upbeat and friendly. We also loved the private showing rooms.

Tessa was extremely amazing and all the staff were wonderful but my reason for giving it 2 stars is simply this. I was to be getting married and went here for my dress. I was between jobs so finances were absolutely tight but I truly loved the dress Tessa had picked out for me.
I made a deposit the same day against my better judgement so as to not lose the dress as it was a floor model that fit perfectly, no alterations needed to be done so that was a great thing. They put me on a payment plan to pay for the dress but when you are between jobs and cant find funds to make ends meet, its kinda hard to prioritize a dress over your bills and with my family coming over was a stretch on my already thin pockets. Still trying to do odd jobs to make my wedding day special, it was clear that I would not be able to pay the balance for the dress.
I called and asked if I could have the deposit refunded because I was literally drowning in debts and they said no! I visited and pleaded with them due to significant strains that had suddenly come upon me and they said no! My only option was to find the balance and pay for the dress. I would have hoped that as women, they would understand how detrimental a situation can be, especially surrounding a wedding but I guess a sale is more important than survival.
Overall, its a great store with really nice selections but if you do not have your payment in full where your pockets wont burn you then this store should be your first and only option.

I went for my first bridal appointment about a week and a half ago and I couldn't be happier with my experience. There were so many different styles that I was able to try on, which is sometimes difficult being a plus sized lady!

Olivia was absolutely AMAZING. She laughed and joked with the people I brought along with me and definitely made us all feel comfortable and having a good time. She squashed all of my concerns and gave me lots of reassurance that anything I was unhappy about could be fixed.

The privacy you get with your own room was also very nice. The raised platform in the middle of the room with the mirrors that catch all angles of their dresses was really awesome.

I think I found the one here, but I will be making a follow up appointment very soon to make sure!

They have a beautiful range of clothes reasonably priced as well as really expensive ones. Everyone was super helpful and assist you in trying on how many ever outfits. The girl who was helping me also clicked my photos so I could send them home for advice! I ended up buying a dress here.

We had such an amazing experience at Everything But The Groom and were so happy with our consultant Olivia. She was so personable and we had fun during our entire appointment. All of my bridesmaids found their dresses there and were pleasantly surprised to find out that when 3 or more girls get their dresses from the store you get 15% off. We are doing different styles for each girl and there was so many to choose from. The dresses also feel like very good quality and not cheap material that will fall apart by the end of your night. The store had lots of selection and colours as well as it was very clean. We can’t wait for the dresses to come in all the right colours!

Although I did not end up buying my dress here, the Everything but the Groom experience was fantastic! The store is beautiful with an excellent selection of dresses of all styles. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I felt that they were able to suggest styles and guide me without being pushy. I really like the private room that you get to change and have a proper viewing party with your friends and family.

I've never been a bridal person and was a bit worried about going into a bridal store, but everyone here was amazing. They listened to what I wanted were amazing in helping me figure out what I did and didn't want. I never felt pressure to fit into what a typical bride should be, they made sure that I found what worked for me. I ended up with a bridesmaid dress for my wedding gown and couldn't have been happier (it has pockets!).
They made finding my dress the least stressful part of my wedding.

This bridal salon is amazing! Gorgeous elegant decor, the girls who work there are so friendly (shoutout to Demi and Tara specifically), and they have an amazing selection of dresses. I bought my prom dress there in 2011 and 8 years later I just purchased my wedding dress from them and it was an amazing experience.
