Went to the store to look at potential engagement rings for our wedding. I wasn't too well versed when it came to rings but I figured it was the job of the sales people to recommend us some rings based on our budget and needs. Now granted the budget and what we wanted perhaps wasn't there but instead of recommending us some potential alternatives that either fit within the budget or fit within the needs but stretch the budget, the lady went on and on in trying to educate us in a condescending tone. It's almost as though she was offended that we didn't do enough research. All you really need to do was be like "Sorry we do not have any products that fit those needs in your budget but here are some nice alternatives. " That's it. Luckily for us, their competitor next to them were a lot more appreciative of what we wanted and we found a great ring for $7500. Congrats on losing a sale and customer.

Worst customer service ever. Bought an item from here that was regular price and was not able to exchange the item or return it. They told me because they did an adjustment it’s considered being on sale therefore final sale. This was never communicated to me by anyone. Then they offered me to do an exchange for the item and when I brought into store they said they can’t because it’s final sale due to the adjustment. Honestly the worst customer service ever. You want to be able to trust your jeweller but these people don’t care about service. Would never come back ever again.

I got a pendant for my mother today. My experience with the lady (ken, not a 100% sure about her name) was just amazing. She was so so helpful and helped me with all the little details and left no stone unturned to help me out. As I am a sophomore and it was my first time purchase of a gold item, she helped me very well and explained my silly questions with so much patience.

Just had our ring resized here but the service was good and the jeweller did an awesome job and was a quick turnover!

I came in December 23rd to get an engagement ring. The ring I wanted was very specific in nature, requiring 2 November birthstones on the sides to replace 2 of the side piece diamonds. They helped me pick a setting, kept it relatively close to my stated budget and said they could have the stones replaced the next day. I received a text that night saying the ring had been completed, and I picked it up the next day. Service was incredible, sales people were knowledgeable and the craftsmanship and quality of this ring are top notch. 10/10, will never shop for jewelry anywhere else. Also, she said yes!

Excel was so accommodating and helpful with the design I had in my head for my new wedding ring.
After a couple visits and tweeks to the virtual design on the iPad - it was the exact vision in my head.
So for my 40th Anniversary I got the ring of my dreams. I just LOVE it!

I shopped here for an engagement ring for my now Fiancé. Xyrina provided exceptional customer service from start to finish. She was very detailed and accurate with pricing, and helped expedite the ring so that I had it in time for my planned proposal. We went to Excel after doing a little searching for a place that had Moissanite so that we could see what it looked like. Xyrina really spent some time to get to know us and connect with who we are. She really made us feel comfortable and encouraged with our non-traditional requests. After looking at several other stores and feeling like either a burden to the sales reps, or being judged for what we wanted, it was really refreshing to go here.

Needless to say, we made our purchase here and will definitely go back in the future.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with the wonderful service we've received from Xyrina as she was super friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. We went to buy a bracelet for our nephew who is turning 1 year old, and Xyrina took the time to listen patiently to our needs and recommended the perfect engraving to fit the bracelet. We also got to connect during the process, which made the transaction memorable. Not just that, but she also coordinated with the jeweller to have a perfect engraving on the bracelet, and the jeweller went out of his way to take the bracelet to a specialized engraver to make sure it turned out perfectly. I had difficulty deciding what to buy as a special gift for my wife and I 43rd wedding anniversary. After going to People's jewelers, Anne-Louise Jewelers my third stop was to Excel jewelers.
They helped me do something that the first two jewelry stores could not do, and that was to buy some nice jewelry without trying to sell me a price tag. The value of what I purchased along with the service I received from this shop will have me coming back again.

I had a great experience ring shopping for my now-fiancée at this store. We dealt with Rositah and she was great! She helped both of us find styles and designs we liked to help narrow down our choices from there. Originally, my fiancée saw something she thought she liked online, but it didn't look as nice in person, so we ended up custom ordering a ring for her which she loves. I came in to the Guildford mall location looking for an aquamarine ring as a replacement of another ring, as it no longer fits. Mary was very helpful and informed my bf and I that I can customize the ring to my liking (ie.replace white gold band with gold), offered to size the ring if I have any issues with the original band size, and tried her best to ensure I receive the ring asap. She was very warm, asked great questions, and made sure the ring feels special to me! Thanks Mary:)

I wandered in looking for something for the girlfriend. It was the first store in the mall I walked into because it looked nice and didn’t have a line. Rositah asked me a few questions and found something perfect for my girl that was under budget. They have really nice expensive jewelry but they have a lot of nice stuff under $200 and they never pressured me to spend more and saved me from at least a few hours wandering around the mall and ending up with a gift card.

Came to Excel looking for an engagement ring + wedding band and the level of service provided by Xyrina was outstanding. I came into the store and Sally came to help me. I immediately found a ring for my girlfriend for our 6 year anniversary. I then realized that the ring was just barely out of my budget, Sally offered me 20% off and got the ring into my budget. I was unsure about getting her the wrong size and she ensured to me that I could have it resized down for no extra cost and helped me make the purchase confidently. I bought a pair of black earrings for my boyfriend here. The price was decent, only 190 after taxes, and I was expecting to spend 300+. The sale people were very friendly and polite, I didn't feel pressured to buy anything and I even came back a week later to actually purchase the earrings. I had a great experience, i will be coming back next time I need a present.
