I’ve had some work done about 6 months ago and when my gold necklace clasp broke I immediately thought of getting it fixed there. Highly recommended. Needed to size down a gold band with a slightly haphazard linear groove pattern all around the outside. The goldsmith would have needed to make a cut but it’s impossible to tell where because the inside/too/bottom of the band look perfect and the pattern is completely undisturbed. Fits great now and looks even better than before because it was polished too =) Rate was totally reasonable considering any added work needed to keep the pattern in place.

My husband and I previously bought my engagement ring and wedding band from the Guildford Location and never really got any guidance on the process of keeping up with the warranty until I brought it into this Langley location. Excel is amazing from start to finish. My first great experience with them was over the phone where the sales associate spent time answering all my questions before I paid them a visit in person. While in the store, all the sales associates were very attentive, going above and beyond to ensure I left happy. I felt very confident leaving such an important piece of jewelry in their hands. They made a rush on my ring and got it back to me in less than 2 day, right before I had to leave on a work trip. The quality of workmanship was not effected by the quick turnaround, they are very talented! I cannot say enough good things about this company!

$20 for a pin for my watch band was outrageous. The explanation was that it would take the jewellers time. Took me 15 seconds to install. No desire to go back. Hammond Jewelry in Maple Ridge understands customer service and doesn't have a ego.

I took my diamond ring in for repairs. Wonderful people helped me with the process. Expert craftsmanship and work completed in expected time frame. My ring has never looked better!

Blown away! I presented Excel Jewellers with a task that I thought was near impossible and basically is for anyone besides this master gold smith. Fixing a hollow gold chain. I purchased the chain for my Husband not knowing it was hollow and it eventually broke. My husband took it to a different shop to have it repaired and they butchered it. They burned the gold and gave it back to him black, and melted. After reading the reviews online for Excel, I figured I would bring the chain here and see what they could do. They worked magic, repaired like new at a super reasonable cost! The ladies who work the counter are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I also had the gold smith who works on site repair a chain of my own too! Excel had both chains done within 5 days. They also have a very beautiful showroom with many unique pieces to purchase. Thank you so much, I will always trust you for my future repairs.

Don’t ever take your jewery for service there! Took my ring for service 5-6 months ago sizing/cleaning/tightenning of all dimands and coating and now one of the diamonds has fallen off.when i took it back, was told that they are only guarenteenig their work for 30 days only, were not able to find their work order to even see what they did but rather were very quick to pull out and start drafting a new work order for another $300 to re-do what they did wrong on the first place.i have 40 years old rings which have never been serniced and the diamonds are still on them. They did not stand behind their work, reputation, brand name, customer service and quality AT ALL! My wedding ring is way too valuable to me to leave it in the hand of people whose only concern is how to bring you back in 6 months for another payment.luckilly i was able to find the dimond after it fell but i would not recomend luck to anyone who places any sentimental value on their jewery.they took my ring, examinned it, told me what must be done to it, and promissed that it will be like brand new when i recieve it back.i never questionned or negotiated and agreed to all of the recomendations they made to bring it to the prommised state. The only thing that they did not mention was that it will LAST ONLY SIX MONTHS. If they forget to tell you that on your next service, and you read this review before six months have past after the service, i would definatelly recomend you to take it somewhere else and have it re-done.good luck.

I have been a customer of Excel Jewellers for 7+ years now. When a piece of my jewelry breaks, I do not even question where to take it to have it repaired. I am so pleased with the quality of work and the smiles and warmth of the ladies who work there that I brought 4 of my girlfriends to their store to have their pieces of jewelry repaired, and all four we so very pleased with the quality and service as well.

I also had a ring redesigned by Tom. He took a very simple ring and made it into a stunning piece. I absolutely love my ring! I would only trust Tom, Alma and the other staff at Excel Jewellers with my jewelry.
