Thanks for the great work by Dave on arranging this on our tight schedule. Eddie is clearly an experienced professional, and a pleasure to have around the house. The carpet looks great, and Eddie's experience and skill is apparent.

Scott was very easy to work with, fair and streamlined the process of flooring install. Pavel installed our flooring excellently as a professional with integrity and pride in his work.

Walked in on a Sunday. Guy does not get off his chair and proceeds to tell me he cannot help me. Does not even try. Don’t waste your time much better flooring stores elsewhere.

I feel super happy with my shopping from this branch specifically their customer service. A gentelman (Rai) who always has smile on his face did his best for me regarding carpet pattern, measurement, dicount, and I think whatever a customer looking for!

Stay well away from this place especially their sales guy Al. Lies about absolutely everything. The place seems to have other shady people working there.

Love this store and Rochelle. Everyone (but especially Rochelle) was very helpful and patient with me as I struggled to find the right products for my renovations. Rochelle helped educate me about the different products and was very helpful and aware of my budget restraints. She helped me find the best quality tile, carpet and vinyl flooring at the best prices. She communicated with me throughout the whole process and I will never go anywhere else. I wish I had known earlier that they have better quality for similar (if not better) prices than the big box stores.
Working with this company was the easiest thing that I did throughout my renovations. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased laminate and carpet from Exclusive. The installers were super (Eddie, Robin, and Jessie) who I feel went above and beyond in their duties. However, I was a little disappointed with the salesperson when I had a minor issue.

We recently had carpet and laminate installed in our townhome and are very pleased with the results! Rochelle is super knowledgeable about all the products and we were so happy to have had her as our representative. Highly reccomend Exclusive Floors!

Fantastic showroom with an incredible number of lines and samples. Not overwhelming because the salespeople are experienced and know their lines quite well. Worked with Scott. Great advice and very knowledgeable.

We would like to thank our Sale person Rochelle Jackson from Exclusive Floors Coquitlam and the Floor Installers for providing us with a positive experience. Rochelle welcomed us into the showroom and was very knowledgeable about floor choices and the process including pricing and options. Rochelle clearly has experience and excelled with her "person centred" customer service skills. We were updating the flooring throughout our home including the stairs and the service we received made this renovation much easier. If we had questions or any issues Rochelle was quick to connect with us and problem solve. The installers were experienced and their work reflected this. If we had concerns or questions they were open to our questions and made changes. Over all we had a good experience and I highly recommend Exclusive Floors.

The have the same products as everywhere else. Unfortunately, it is obvious that the salespeople are commission based. Whe made a few trips in and always ended up talking to the same guy. When we came in when he wasn't there, once the the salesperson that met us at the door found out that we were already taken, we got no help and a very negative vibe.

Update: immediately after leaving review, received a call from the salesman stating someone would be in to look at the floors the following weekend.

Stairs were Re-glued.

I am not happy at this point. I received a call from a manager who is coming to take a look next week, where we will decide the next steps.

Started floors Nov 15, ended Nov 21. The floors looked good, and the job was done as planned. Mostly.

The quote specifically stated that any additional work required (including floor leveling, which was specifically stated) would be explained to us in advance, and we would have the option of accepting it or not. The final bill came in at the end, and was $2300 higher than the original quote, with zero explanation. Just a simple invoice showing the job number and amount owing. One of our first flags. When we asked for a detailed breakdown, we had to wait a couple of weeks to see it. Floor leveling was a big part of the added cost.

At the corner of the stairs a problem was left (see image). Possibly a communication issue as we have railings installed & other local work, so I’m not too upset here. I wish I could understand how it would be ok to leave this as is, but I can’t. We’re paying others to fix it.

The stairs sagged shortly after initial use, and after the installers (contracted by Exclusive) came by to look at it and stated the job was done perfectly, but the product sold to us by the salesman (Exclusive Floors employee) was a bad product for stairs. We since learned that they weren’t installed properly, as there are visible gaps under the stairs meaning they don’t have support. When you step on them, they bend forward. We have been told we will be contacted regarding this, and haven’t been. Notice this was done Nov 21, we brought up our concerns almost immediately after, and it is now Feb 23, and our stairs look as shown in the attached pictures. This finger pointing between the salesperson and the installers is happening entirely on the Exclusive floors side as it was done or directly contracted by Exclusive Floors, which is highly unprofessional to say the least. Either way, the right thing to do would be to figure it out between themselves and fix these mistakes.

My 3 year old daughter has fallen down these stairs, and both my wife and I have been very close to falling as a step too close to the edge causes it to fold downward. Another time my one year old almost fell down the stairs (this time not due to the stairs themselves), I was rushing down the stairs and slipped off one stair edge that folded in. I caught myself, but I can tell you it is infuriating to slide off these stairs knowing it was because they are poorly installed.

As a business owner, I would be appalled and ashamed if my company or any part of it functioned this way. Despite the friendly words I have heard from the people here, this horrible workmanship and related inability to fix it are unbelievably frustrating and inexcusable. Every company makes mistakes, and they way they approach it after the fact is how I believe a company should be measured. Not looking good
for these guys, and so much for their supposed warranty. The job isn’t even done yet and we can’t get repairs done.

If you look at the numerous reviews I have given in the past, I believe you will see that I am a fair reviewer. Despite the premium price and long lasting warranties, we seem to be alone with an unfinished and outright dangerous product. Buyer beware.

I will update this review if and when something changes with my situation. As of now, I am looking to find others to fix their mistake, and fighting the urge to flood the internet with my experience of these guys. I regret paying them for any part of the work they did. If you decide to work with them, check their work with a fine toothed comb before you pay anything after the deposit. Truth be told, I am deeply regretting our decision to choose Exclusive Floors, and I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. Look at the pictures, and see for yourself.

Another thanks out to Niki. She has helped me out with my flooring in the past. As i go forward on another project. She is once again there to answer my questions and get me going in the right direction. She is always willing to go out of her way to help out! Thanks again NIki!

I previously dealt with Exclusive in Surrey and received outstanding customer service. This time I dealt with the folks at the Coquitlam location and once again they did not disappoint. They have a great selection of products (certain items I had not seen elsewhere despite having visited 5 other showrooms). Highly recommend Exclusive!

We're soooo happy with the new kitchen floor we got from Exclusive Floors. We were pretty sure we wanted vinyl flooring, but after talking with Scott at Exclusive Floors, going over options, and taking some samples home, it confirmed that vinyl was the right choice. Delivery and installation happened fairly quickly after we made our decision. Vasily (hopefully I’m spelling that correctly) was meticulous and detailed with the installation, and we are ecstatic about the finished product. Thank you Exclusive Floors!
