Really enjoy shopping here now.the New owner keeps the store well stocked with a massive amount of products. Now this No Frills I remember from back East. Fantastic job everyone!

Best prices to get groceries anywhere.

I will stop here every time I pass through merrit.

They hands down have better prices than any grocerie stores in the lower mainland or kamloops. I save tons of money by stopping here and loading up on groceries whenever I have the chance.

Staff are often rude and in limited capacity.cheap, but exactly what their monicur eludes to you won't find anything special about shopping there

No frills used to be awesome! Unfortunately just went in and they don’t have bags for produce anymore which seemed strange And very impractical. When we got to the till to pay for $250 worth of grocery’s the teller which was extremely unfriendly forced my mom to re buy one of many yellow totes that she bought ages ago. It was clearly used, ours and can be seen on security being walked in with but had the little orange tag missing. Really disappointed in our experience this time:/

Love the friendliness of this particular branch of A&W. The staff are always friendly, have a smile for you every time you frequent the cafe. Tourists are welcomed and treated as a Merittite. Super French fries, always. Coffee and food great.

I am LMAO at all the bad reviews about service. It's a No Frills store guys, are you expecting to be handed a glass of champagne and caviar upon entering the store? I have never had an issue when shopping here. In fact they carry a few items that I can't find in the other local stores. Staff has been polite and absolutely within what I expect from a bargain grocery store.

I attempted to exchange three shirts that I bought that were too small oh, the supervisor stated that because I didn't have the original receipt I was not allowed to exchange them. I reviewed the actual store policy and she was in correct and I was allowed to actually exchange them without a receipt because the tags and everything we're still on the product. Extremely disappointed considering I don't live in Merritt.

Website sucks, kind of allergies products non existence.just silly bonaire what ever it's called no allergies pills or anything like ahh? And charging for pick up fee?

Of all the groceries store chains no frills has to be my least favorite yes its cheap but it leaves a lot to be desired, no frills extends to no service usually long waits or long lines minimal staff means only one or two tills open even at their busiest times

1st time and will come back as store very clean. We were in a rush due to appointment. We will come back

I bought Enfamil ready made formula and when I opened it for my baby it was already bad. Of course mom of 4 I lost my receipt already. The managers and owner will not help me. Even when calling trying to talk to Romeo the owner he never called me back and was hard to get a hold of. Not impressed. Go to Save On Foods from now on for my baby formula. I even had my visa statement I bought it from there but not good enough.

What were they thinking when they changed this store?

There is no fresh food in the ENTIRE store. This used to be a place you could go buy lunch.

They added kids clothes that separated food sections putting all the snacks next to chemcials at the very back of the store DUMB AND UNSAFE. Nonsensical changes for what? To hope im lured into buying cheap clothes? LoL

Add to it that they no longer keep shopping carts inside the store or anywhere near an entrance. Which also means they rarely or never clean them. GROSS

Seen some sales and wanted to load up. Only had a basket. Ask where the carts are, only to be told theyre only outside LOL. I dropped all my stuff and left.

Pay a cart person you cheap corproate goofs.

Never shopping here again. Waste of time.

Such a cluster f+*# trying too find what you need. Wish I could go back too the way it was. Lord have mercy. Oh, and did I mention most of the "fresh meat" is green.

Worst store now! Merritt needed more selection. No frills just makes me angry because I go in the store to buy groceries I love and could buy when it was Extra Foods. Now you can not buy anything. The bakery sucks, the keto selection non existent now. I do not shop there now. I have to spend double the price for items at Save On Foods.

Wow I loved it so much the price of everything only in my dreams I asked my buddy to pinch me is this a dream lol

Veggies have been of poor quality and very sparse since the new owner, there is no more bakery and it seems less product on the shelves.

Rather disappointing, been going to other NO Frills stores and this one is truly lacking.maybe because there newly opened but definitely pales in comparison to other NO FRILLS

This No Frills replaced previous Extra Food store just a day ago. Very disappointed with new choice of food. Many things are not available any more. To big list to write here. No bakery with fresh bread. No Dely. Shopping carts can be picked up only outside of the store and they are not free as been before. Prices is pretty similar.

This place was huge, it's like a superstore, they had clothes and small appliances for home section, bathrooms were clean, staff was polite and kind, lots of parking, lots of cashiers, healthy and well operated No frills.
Some movement of stock for Halloween currently going on, may need to look in other areas for moved stock, staff are everywhere and willing to help if you need a particular item. There's also a Mobil gas station in same parking lot and you can pay with PC Mastercard and get Optimum points here at No frills

Extra foods is my go to store in Merritt when I pass through. The bakery is great for fresh baked goods

Extra Foods had products the other stores didn't have or were sold out. A welcome surprise. I don't always shop there as it's too far from home and my car died.

Nice store helpful staff and place was very clean.if in Merrit and Ned some groceries this is definitely a place to go

Extra Foods is a supermarket chain, part of Loblaw Companies Limited. There are 17 stores in Canada, mostly in Western Canada. Most Extra Foods stores are smaller than its sister chain, Real Canadian Superstore, and most locations are in smaller, rural communities.

Always dependable. Good service, friendly staff, ready to meet special requests and more than willing to help whenever I've needed. They provided my club with special requests a few times now and the results were perfect. Recently, we asked for a deli & bakery order on a specific date and time - they were right on time and the order was nicely prepared handily for us. We were all pleased.and well fed!

Store is laid out nice, isles are wider than most other stores. Some great in-store meat discounts & specials. Produce condition can often be disappointing, so take your time. (you'll find what you need)

It seems to be "store policy" for customers to need to state how many bags needed before-hand to prepay, before cashier starts ringing in groceries.

What I didn't appreciate was cashiers slamming the grocery order through & it being the customers responsiblity to bag & load bags of food into the cart & out to vehicle.

I have a disability plus issues with my back, and although I had asked 3-different cashier for "help" the last three times I shopped there I recieved the same answer. Apparently they didn't have employees in place to help bag or load for customer and "the cashiers wouldn't do it. "

Hence: Reason that I don't shop there often, unless it's only a few items.

I believe it still costs a Loonie for a shopping cart. (you get back $ back when you push cart back in cart-chain up)
