We found a large crack in the transom of our boat without any cause. James looked at it and stated he could fix it. Within two weeks he sent his best guy to do the repair and gel coat match. The repair work is stunning to see. There were two different colours of gel coat, both matched perfectly on our seventeen-year-old boat. A highly recommended team.

First time fibreglass boat owner, and bought a used one with a fair bit of wear and tear to catch up on. James got me in within 2 days of calling, and gave me an honest assessment based on what was visible. Once we agreed on a budget and plan, he had it on a lift within 2 days. Once up on the lift and work had begun, it became evident the job was going to take a little more than originally thought to do the work properly. James and his team kept me informed throughout, and while the schedule was a little longer than either of us hoped (by a few days - still very fast) - he stuck to the original quote. I am confident that more work went into the boat than I was billed for by a wide margin. Not only did they honour the deal we had agreed on, the workmanship was excellent. The colour match in particular on a 30+ year old boat was amazing.

Don't shop around if you have fibreglass work to do in Nanaimo - just go to Extreme Fibreglass. I won't go anywhere else in the future.

Hi: I had a tree fall on my motorhome May18/22, it landed across the front of my class A motorhome on top of my solar panels after glancing off my winegard traveller Shaw satellite dish. My first call went to Jamie as I thought I had sustained damage from this large tree. He arrived even though he has a heavy workload at his shop to perform an inspection of the roof for structural damage or roof membrane punctures and told me it had somehow not damaged the roof covering or the solar panels which were a direct hit by the tree. This was excellent news as it turned out my only losses were a punctured and torn slide cover and the satellite dish system no longer functions or stows Lucky for me Jamie attempted to get the dish to stow by rebooting it but after an hour of fiddling with it he performed a manual stow of the dish did not charge me for this service but did tell me I got lucky with only a slide out awning and a satellite dish as damage. A true gentleman in todays world!

James was recommended by Parker Marine. My classic 2001 Wakesetter had a hole in the hull (gonna blame my kid). Not only did the guys fix the hole, they removed every scratch and blemish on the boats body and refinished some bad areas. It now looks showroom perfect! Absolutely incredible and stunning. I am in shock I can't remember the boat ever looking this good. These guys are true artists. Gave my boat another 10 years of life. Highly recommend.

I had an incident with a malfunctioning depth finder and a rock that required a patch in the hull of my boat, and called Extreme Fiberglass. Other shops were pretty solidly booked, so I was anticipating a 6-8 weeks wait before i could get any attention.

James was able to fit me in on the same day due to a cancellation, and immediately pointed out that my new-to-me boat had been poorly repaired in the past (buckets of Bondo). He explained the work that needed to be done in great detail, and also documented every part of the work with pictures, which he texted over as the team worked.

There was quite a bit more work needed that wasn't immediately clear, but James and the team got it done quickly, and while the fix required more work than expected, he gave me a great deal and for it entirely sorted out quickly (less than a week).

Before and after pics don't really tell the whole story, but the hull is solid now!

I can’t say enough good things about James and his staff. I took my 1990 Double Eagle in to get the toilet decommissioned, not an easy task on an older boat. In short, their work was fabulous both inside and out. You actually cannot tell on the outside where the through hulls were the finishing is so well done, and the inside was finished beautifully as well. Add to that done by the time promised and a little under the very fair and competitive estimate and you get the trifecta of quality workmanship in a timely manner at a fair price. Fantastic. Perhaps most impressive however is how much they care about your boat and you as a customer. They go out of their way to send you pictures of the work as it progresses and cheerfully answer any questions that arise. Should the need arise for their services again (it is an older boat after all) I will be back in a heartbeat.

I purchased a boat at auction that had structural issues making it unsafe to use until I brought it to James and his crew. They fit me in on short notice and had me on the water in no time and on budget. On top of that, the workmanship gives the hull a good as new look. Photo updates through the process also gave me peace of mind that they were on the job. I will definitely make the trip to Nanaimo again if future work is needed. Easy 5 stars.

Spent 5k with them boat came back covered in fiberglass dust, depth sensor broken, bilge pump missing. Job as explained to me was not completed as stated.

Contracted extreme to have the keel on my 40 ft sailboat, taken down to bare metal and then filled and fared to smooth. 5 coats of epoxy applied. Very well done job, satisfied.all good, all good
