If you are goth/alternative and below the age of 40 dont go here.staff are rude to you, follow you around, and glare at you.litterally dont understand it. I guess ill order online:)

The rudest and most disrespectful staff I've ever seen! I was surprised old woman can be so cold and mean! We will never step foot in fabric land chilliwack again and advise everyone else nor too!

They are very expensive. Other than that I have no complaints. I haven't encountered any problems with the employees as some others have stated. They were very helpful when I came in to buy some fabric. They have a great variety of fabric so they're definitely the place to go if you're having trouble finding something specific. Do be warned that the price is very steep for most of the fabrics. Look for sales.

Update: if your buying $50 of fabric or more, or if you think you'll be coming back again, the membership is very reasonable and really reduces the price of your fabric purchases

What a terrible experience! Left with nothing but disappointment. Rude impatient staff. I will never shop there again.

Lots of variety and fair cost for items. Large discount/ clearance area. Large variety of notions and fabrics!

Not the best fabricland I have been to. Very few sales, very expensive fabric, very little selection. The staff there were super great though.

Eady to get help! Staff noticed I was looking helpless and offered assistance! Friendly and helpful!

I'm a student trying to make some clothing and they're charging me crazy prices while being rude. Never again will I go in that place. $20 a yard for fabric and I can go on ebay and get it for $4 a yard.

Excellent selection and service.
There's an amazing seamstress here who handmade my duvet cover and pillow shams. Her name is Irene and her talent is so understated.

Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The fabric selection though in this store is the worst I have ever seen in a Fabricland. There was hardly any quilter cotton's to choose from and most were leftover from previous holidays (Christmas, Halloween ect.) The store is very crowded so much so it's hard to see the materials on display. Good for a quick stop if you just need thread or a zipper but I would not come here again for fabric.

Service was excellent, my wife and I went in to buy an advertised item, however, a matching item (we needed two similarly coloured chair covers) wasn't a available at the chwk location, they promptly tracked the other that we needed in abbotsford, called ahead a put the item in question on reserve for us now that's customer service.
