Visited from Parksville, mostly to visit the Black Sheep Quilting (BSQ) shop located inside the store at the rear. The BSQ was fabulous with a huge selection of all things quilting; specialty fabrics and popular lines.but also some really nice finds. Staff was exceptional.
Fabricland staff and store was very well laid out, with some excellent 'deals'. Will be back for sure!

Always friendly service. Lots of sales, which is really the only time you should buy something as eventually it'll probably go on sale. There's always been lots of staff around which is very appreciated to not have to wait a long time to ask questions, get help finding something, or to get fabric cut. Dog friendly. Excellent place to get notions. For garment fabric you may find what you need here, if not there's discovery fabric in Campbell River.

The person that helped me with black suede was awesome super friendly and made sure I was looked after very well. I appreciate it. I am sorry I did not remember the name but she has a small dog.

Went into store looking for a specific fabric and clerk was very helpful showing me the different options.

Very pricey. I rarely find the fabric I'm looking for. They do have a very broad selection though.

Pretty much the only Fabricland I actually choose to shop at. They've got great variety and staff! I've found several things here that I was sure I would have to order online to get, like sew-in tailor's canvas and good handsewing threads. Keep it up!

First time that I was in the new store. No one offered assistance. And when I took my purchase to the cashier, T (supervisor) did not comment, did not say hello, did not respond to my small talk, and only asked for my membership card. No thank you or good-bye either. Either she was having a bad day, or she hates her job.
Left me thinking I should shop elsewhere.

Although the staff are wonderful, helpful and know their craft, I am shocked at how much costs have gone up.the two stars are for the employees. Im buying online from now on!

Likely the best fabric shop on the Island. Since they have reopened they have an excellent selection of all types of fabrics. Whenever we are in Courtenay we need to stop by because we can find fabrics and items that are a struggle to find in other shops around the Island. We highly recommend this store for your fabric needs.

Fabricland in Courtenay has always been a fantastic fabric store. Since its new owner- and has been newly renovated, it continues to offer great products and the best friendly service you could ask for. Love our local store!

Well-stocked, helpful, friendly, and clean. Treated my puppy like a king. When another patron would not wear a mask, staff found a solution that allowed her to get what she needed without coming in the store. Highly recommend this place!

"IRRESPONSIBLE" Before driving to the store, I checked the Website and phone message to confirm the store closes at 5: 30 today.
I arrived to the store at 4: 30 for a spool of thread. The Lady at the door would not let me in because the store was closing at 5pm. A decision made yesterday without updating the website or the phone message. Even though 2 people left the store while I was being informed of the changes she still refused to let me pick up a spool of thread. I didn't need to browse, or have fabric cut, I just needed a spool of thread.

I'm sorry to see you will be closing. You have such a large variety of fabric and necessary sewing accessories, that I thought of you first when planning to sew my own face masks.

Staying open during a global pandemic? And having a huge sale? Sewing and crafts are not a necessity.
Close your doors.
This is the exact reason that this is spreading so rapidly. People need to take precautions. Especially a place like this with an older and more at risk customer base that are touching everything in the store!

I love the variety of all sewing, crafts, yarn, fabrics available for any project. There is lots of parking space avail for all including disabled upfront. Excellent & knowledgable staff on hand. I would recommend this store for anyone who enjoys crafting.

It's so messy in there! The staff is friendly and there is a great selection of fabrics. Of course, it's crazy expensive if you aren't a member. But holy hannah, they need to spend some time on tidying up.

They had all the dye I was looking for. I also had exceptionally good service from the cashier.

Ladies run a fabulous fabric forum. Soooooo Helpful, Courteous and extremely knowledgeable with all sewing matters.

My grandmother is a Melba is my grandmother is 105 and we were in shopping getting a piece of material to fix a chair that we're going to staple together and we just had a great time and I love everybody in the store so it's a great story

The store is quite messy but I like the variety found here. I found good deals on patterns and notions here. Also there is a great quilting section. Almost any cotton print or design is here!
