Housekeeping was lacking to say the least. The sheets were beyond filthy and it took 3 days to get them changed.

We only stayed for one night but we’re impressed with the size of the room. Nice separation between bed area and living/office/tv area, coffee bar was a little small but did what it needed to do. Bathroom was roomie, liked that hotels are switching to shower wall conditioners/shampoos/body wash, way better for the environment. Bed was very comfortable and one of our better sleeps at a hotel.
Very close to the Superstore and the Casino, Blenz coffee across the street and the hotel had a free breakfast bar with our stay but we didn’t have time to partake, hopefully next time. Same with pool/hottub, never seemed busy the whole time we were there. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.

Relatively new hotel in Vernon with restaurants, shopping and casino all within walking distance.

Very friendly staff. Have a nice pool and if you are up for adventure, a three storey high water slide.

Room is clean and modern. Good breakfast spread that's slightly better quality than the Fairfield I stayed in the US.

I will say the Fairfield in 2021 was amazing in supporting evacuees and gave up a lot of space and time to people in need, even during covid. This made me pretty disappointed to see this hotel support people vacationing from other provinces during extremely trying times in our area, even more urgent then previous years.
I saw a few Alberta plates in their parking lot and a group of guys complaining about closed stores during their vacation infront of the lobby. Sad to see them accepting out of province visitors during government issued travel bands.
If this hotel cannot support its community I don’t recommend people supporting them.

Nice hotel, good location, and clean. However I wasn’t it very impressed with the service. At the check in, I had the feeling as I wasn’t well welcomed there! - I know it’s a strange thing for a Hotel! To make guests feel this way! - I was placed at the ground floor, at the end of hallway, with parking view! At night, every few minutes a vehicle was being parked or driven away and the headlights were making the room as bright as July noon. All this whole hotel had so many vacancies on all other levels. The next day, I requested to check out, but I was told I’d be charged for the remaining 2 nights reserved!

I would give it 5 stars.however no sitting chair in the room to read a book or watch TV.
It is a Fairfield design flaw as it is in other cities the same way.

Went for a overnight the lady at the front desk was a sweetheart
Breakfast was great
Pool was very clean

I called to ask on if hot tub was working to book here and the guy was nice but fairly dumb to answer that yes it is working but the jets are not working and no circulation.
In order for it to be working the jets and circulation must be too or irt is just a small dipping pool.yes? Come on now! That made zero sense to me! I am glad I called though to make sure 1st! I book these places for hot tub use. NOT TO DIP!

Both the bed and the pullout mattresses were very uncomfortable! They should be replaced. Stay away from rm 308!

I was really looking forward to our stay in Vernon at the Fairview Marriott but unfortunately it turned out being very disappointing. Firstly we booked for the pool/slide, i had called to ensure the slide was functioning and when we arrived it was not so the kids were really disappointed. However this was due to the cold weather (even though the day before it was on) so we let it go.

Next we were on the second floor and it smelt of cigarette smoke most of the night throughout the hallway and even coming into our room. It was really gross!

The mattress has made me feel disabled today

It has snowed and their has been someone shoveling outside our window for about an hour so i can’t sleep

Between the cigarette smoke and the shoveling i have slept about 2 hours.

I will not be staying here again…

Clean and efficient rooms some with desks that are good for all day computer work. Breakfast was eggs and sausage with a selection of breads, cereals and yogurts. Coffee and juice was available too.

Nice new hotel. Big clean room. Good Internet speed. Close to food and shopping. The service was friendly. I did request a late check out as a gold member but house keeping kept checking if I was on the room and the front desk called as well. Checked out early because off this so they got me out before requested time. Only a weak "oh yes I see on the notes you requested a late checkout, sorry"

I made the reservation online. When I get to the hotel they tell me that I have to pay with credit and that if I don't have credit I can do it with debit BUT I have to leave $ 500. I looked on the website and I didn't find anything that says "that policy", they didn't show it to me either. What's going on with your service? Is not about the money is about the dishonest of the service that you’re providing.

Our daughter relocated to Vernon and we drove her out. We stayed at this location at the end of April for 4 days. It was a perfect home base for us while we were there. Jordan and Rose were welcoming and very informative regarding the area (as this was our first time in Vernon). Jordan and Rose were extremely helpful!
We will stay here again when we go back out to visit our daughter.

It's a Marriott hotel, what more can I say. Quite location close to everything in Vernon, by car 5 minutes or a good walk, 5 to 10k. Kids & Adults alike think the waterside is thrilling, addictive and good clean fun.

The hotel was super clean. Pool was also very clean. The service was very good and the breakfast was very good. There was a good variety of breakfast items even for kids and the host were very friendly.

Although the interior of the hotel is a little bit old, but we were surprised that everything is in order and super clean! The staffs were super friendly & as a bonus, they even upgrade us to the suite for our overnight stay!

Very good experience for the price! Highly recommended! (Sept 2020)

We drove up to Vernon to meet up with some friends who also visited the place. We all stayed at this hotel and Jack, the front desk person was the one who checked us in. Very friendly person who had great customer service! The room was nice, clean, and spacious. The reason why I'm giving this a 4 star rating out of 5 is due to a busted light bulb upon entering our room, very slow internet speed even though I have the enhanced connection, and the drain in the shower didn't drain the water fast enough. While showering, the water pooled up. I would have given this a lower rating but Jack was there to try and fix the problems for us. He was the one who changed the light bulb and ensured that the internet provider fixed the internet speed. I wish all hotel staff are like Jack! He did all he could even though he was the only one on duty at that time. One other comment on this place is they don't take social distancing seriously. Lots of guests were walking around too close to each other without masks. Hope that the virus doesn't spread through them.

Modern colourful lobby with a professional efficient front desk team to quickly check you in - alerting you up front about the limited operations due to the COVID (no pool and a small continental breakfast).

The beds & pillows were very comfortable. Excellent shower with good pressure in a large washroom.

A little disappointed with no microwave in the rooms but the front desk did allow the use of the one in the main lobby.

Breakfast is a Continental option with muffins, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice and very good coffee.

I would be happy to book this Fairfield Inn again.

So dirty. Felt like they never cleaned the room. There's stains everywhere. On the bed, floor, toilet, shower. Staff is rude as hell. Pretty much the whole place need all new staff. Felt like this was some crack head hotel.

I'm currently staying here and have nothing but good things to say. The front desk staff has been amazing and helpful with all my questions as it's my first time in Vernon. The room is clean, beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We brought our own but they do have toiletries in case you forget them. Restaurant and shopping is also within walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying here as well as see myself staying here in the future.

Miss lead about the pool need to book your 30 mins to swim the pool is dirty when finally got in to swim and not allowed to book pool times for next day booked 6 nights here and when booking I regretted it the first day. When trying to watch tv the satellite tv cuts out every 10 secs on the street parking cause the parking lot is so small. Arrived 240 after a 6 hour drive and not allowed to book in 20 mins early

Was charged a extra $100 dollars on top of the $210 for my one night stay for having a 6 lb Yorkie that sleep in her kennel. No one told us the night we checked in that they weren’t pet friendly and it would be a extra $100, probably because we would have stayed somewhere else. At check out the lady at the front desk lied to me and said they tried to contact us about it but no one actually came to our door or called our room, maybe her pidgin carrier got lost on the way. I was told I could wait to talk to a manager which I did but no one showed up. Before leaving I was given a managers direct number to call but of coarse no one answered. I did call back to the hotel a short time later and ask to talk to manager and the same lady who lied to me earlier told me there was no manager in and wouldn’t be in until Monday. Anyone thinking of staying here do yourself a favour and DON’T, the only reason this gets one star is because zero stars isn’t a option.

Hard times for EVERY hotel, people who complain about the breakfast or pool should really call first during this Covid situation. Front desk agent at 2: 00 was super fantastic! No issues whatsoever.

Same experience as someone from below comment.the bed cover looked like an old curtain, the tub and sink had brown spots where you could see the mold had been and the bathroom mat and bathroom wall had nasty brown spots all over it. The bed has hairs look like didn’t change from the previous guest. Staff were nice and friendly.

Over priced because travel restrictions have lifted in BC, and they can charge what ever they want. I stay at a lot of Marriot Properties in small cities and large cities across North America and never been quoted a rate this high for a King Room.

I only write reviews if they’re good or awful. This one was a frustrating experience all around. Rooms were new and clean which was good and am not complaining about. Stayed mid-week and needed to keep the room for an extra couple hours on Friday (long weekend). That cost a half day of $90 for four hours to 4pm- no big deal - all of this was so my partner could work remotely while I worked elsewhere. At 2pm - halfway through our extra hours, my partner was asked to pay for the full day or leave. The room itself costs $200 or so to rent for the night. Instead of having some integrity and keeping current customers, they would rather make an extra $100 - or had the new Employees blamed the owner for making this decision who clearly has no concept of customer retention. You’re representing a brand - is this indicative of Marriot’s brand values? Who cares - $100. Bad form.

Nice, quiet stay as I was there during a quiet time. Nice breakfast included in the morning and rooms are good although nothing spectacular. The fitness centre could be better as it is small, probably smaller than one of the rooms and it doesn't have any mirrors.

Great pillows. They provided a pretty sweet crib for our 1.5yr old. Swimming pool was fun, albeit somewhat over chlorinated. Would stay here again in a heartbeat
