Wish I could give a negative rating as every single employee at this location is rude and unhelpful in every way possible and i have been lied to about multiple things between how much interest my loan would have and about payment dates being swapped so don't recommend them ever as they are a horrible scam of a company.

This whole company is just impossible to get any communication done. All people who barely speak english and just hang up the phone when they dont want to work. They all do it in all of the businesses they work for. Waiting on hold for an hour just to have some incompetent lazy worker put you on another hold and then hang up? Ruining this country one company at a time

I accidentally deposited cash into a firestone account that had been closed. I have contacted this branch several times and no one is helping me get back my money. I have talked to several customer reps and they either hang up or tell me they will call me back and never does. The last one asked me to send an email and he opened a claim this was June 24, I have not received any feedback since.

Never ever ever use this scumstone os terrible! I took $10,000 my biweekly payment was $225. On contract the interest was 36.99% but refer to the picture attached how much they have been charging me as interest and prencipal! In $225, $48 is your prencipal and $176 is interest! Which policy is this scumer using?

Example, if you borrow 1000 expect to pay back over 2000.
Don't use fairstone, EVER!

This fairstone company is not fair. Fairstone with charge you a very high high interest rate. I asked for them to give me a lower interest rate and they weren't not interested in that at all. And basically hung up. Fairstone try scamstone. They just pray on the weak with poor credit

Manisha was efficient at providing information I asked for. Recieved money in my account next day after required documents were submitted. EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL YET FRIENDLY!

I am reading these reviews and noticed a comment that was made about customers doing their own research please before you borrow any money from these legal loan sharks look at an unbiased review of them on CBC Market place that just aired.

Fairstone staff especially, Manisha Kanwar is very helpful and she make it sure that she help me through the processing my application.

If it is up to me, I won't even give 1 star to them. I took loan for furniture for $3600 and was late in paying my installment by 15 days. I paid my whole principal amount in full but they sent me the invoice mentioning that because I was 15 days late, I will have to pay $880 interest on top. And they said that they will keep on charging interest on top of the interest until it has been paid in full. I talked to them that the amount they are charging is unreasonable but they said that the best that they can do is still charge me $500. Is it reasonable to charge interest of $500 if the payment is late by 15-20 days (well before they were expecting me to pay $880- which is ridiculous) ?
This company is running a scam and no one should go to such places for help. Extremely disappointed with their services. No wonder that they have 2 stars.

Great at first paying on Insurances I dont need.asked to have them removed but I have reapply.paying over 2500 on Insurances

Oh wow, reading all those experiences below me. I thought I was the only one being given a hard time.
I agree that these people who work here are very rude and condescending.
I did not give the lady consent to increase my loan and she did. And now my monthly payments have increased because of this.

This is not a good financial institution.

Go to money mart where you can get instalment loans and YOU control where the money goes

I’ve never heard of a financial institution that controls where your approved money goes.

Ive been dealing with this company for a few years now ive never been more happy with service their courtious and easy to deal with im on my 3rd top up and hopefully last but know if i ever need help their there and im guaranteed ty fairstone surrey location and chilliwack location you guys rock

Avoid this place. They are very rude. It seems as they don't speak English as anything you say to them will be forgotten or ignored immediately. Instead of negotiating with you they make demands regardless of what's realistic. Go with easy financial instead. Same thing but they will treat you like a human being.

Don't get a loan here. Horrible service. If you ever fall behind on any payment due to hardship prepare to have your references harassed.

This has been a great overall visit I came in after receiving a call for a refinance. I met Manisha at the front desk she greeted me with a smile and helped upon arrival. She answered all the questions I had with detailed answers walked me step by step on everything. Thank you Manisha Kanwar for the great service.

I'm at the end of the first year of a long term contract. Outside of my account being transferred to another branch without advising me beforehand, there hasn't been anything negative about my experience. They take my payments on time and have never been less than helpful or knowledgeable in my dealings with them.

Maybe they need to work on thier company cuz I was gonna go here but the reviews are REAL. I choose not to now.
