Very Rude customer service reps and Manager. They will yell at you over the phone and will be very dismissive. On top of that these people tricked me into signing up for a loan insurance as a condition for the loan meanwhile it is illegal and optional.
They will end your incoming calls until you try more than 3 times. And when you get through to them they have 0 courtesy and will yell at you over the phone.
I strongly suggest DO NOT use this branch or fairstone in general because they take 0 accountability and are not ready to assist you once they have you on the hook with their predatory and bullying tactics.
And to fairstone cooperate, you guys may want to take a look at this brunch and train them with proper customer service etiquette because they are really giving your existing and potential customers a very bad experience.

They say you can do everything online or come in. I wasted a whole day getting loan, then they said I have to come in to sign. Not everyone can come into the office that's why there is online. They did not let me know before hand I must come in to sign. Waste of my time & there"s.

It's was great experience, wonderful customer service, really helped me since its was my 1st time doing the loan. I would recommend this branch for anyone looking for financial advice.

When I first visited this branch, i was met at the door by Prabh, who was very polite and professional when he addressed me. I was a little uncomfortable/ embarrassed having to come there. He took me into one of the offices which made it, a little more comfortable, to be able to talk openly about my financial situation. I was approved on the spot and within an hour I left with all my finances in place, I was explained additional products, with great detail, and how they can help me later if I was unable to pay due to illness or injury. Prabh was very knowledgeable and came up with a great plan that helped me manage my financial strain. I have since called/visited this branch numerous amount of times, each time I was helped in the same, kind, pleasant and professional manner, by all the staff. I would recommend this Fairstone location. Thank you Fairstone!

I have been approved for a lone and I must admit, as soon as the "deal" was done SHE CHANGED and slapped a piece of paper down at me and said "ok I need something else. " And I have noticed those who are leaving reviews "poor customer service" get "thank you for your feed back and if we can help. " well from what I can see nothing has changed.

Got the loan last week, but did not cash the cheques yet for a good reason. I felt rushed signing the contract. But when I read it over at home, I saw they still charged me $1400 for the insurance even though I declined it. I called the office on Kingsway three times but they didn’t answer and this was during their office hours! So I blocked my number and they answered the phone on the first ring. Interesting? ! I told the person that the insurance needed to be taken off my loan but he said the payments won’t change but the loan would be paid off faster? !? What does that Even mean? I did the math and my payments should go down at least $15.00! I told him I was upset because 1) I was rushed to sign the contract before I could sign it, 2) the insurance was still on the contract even though I declined it, 3) I was told the interest was 3.08% per month, but not even close, it’s much higher. I told him that I was going to make a formal complaint against them because they were not honest! He apologized so I’ll be going back to the office on Kingsway and they better fix the loan to what I wanted, because this is what they stated (advertised) when they first have the initial conversation with you.

Great customer service, really helped me with my financial situation. Would recommend this branch for anyone looking for financial advice.

Don't do it. Don't sign those papers. Wished I never did. Heartless people if u fall behind on your payment due to hardship, prepare to be harassed and your references too. I would give them zero star if I could!
