Definitely one of the fastest service! They explained everything very well. I have used them a few times and better than credit cards. Everything you need to know is on a contract so please read before you sign and ask questions. Manager and staff at this location are amazing. They are always available to help you no matter how busy they are.

Very shady people! Some of the reviews here are from employees trying to salvage this train wreck. They will hide insurances in your contract and even when you call and show up to cancel these contracts, they will not cancel them all! They will hide it. They will try and scam you out of anything extra they can.

Very good service. When bank declined me I used them. They helped me build my credit when I was new to Canada. No fees for the loan. Just interest rate and it is open loan and pay off when you want!

I was paying $300 a month and about $17 comes off the principal! Then they wanted me to borrow more money!? An obvious intent to completely screw me over! I took in $ 2000 once and it didnt even put a dent in the debt? Stay away from yhese sleaze balls!

I met with Vivek, he took his time and explained every step of the process in our loan application. The pros and the cons of the repayment process was thoroughly explained in a very courteous and professional manner. I would recommend Vivek and Fairstone without hesitation.

These people are awesome they helped me get out of crippling debt and honestly they didnt ask for much except to pay one time a month and I can pay off my loan whenever, also the rates go down as you pay for it just because you are not owing for as long so really the rates make no difference it's your choice whether you want to rough it and pay more or wait 4 years for your payments to be done and pay like 50% interest.

! SCAM ALERT!
They keep sending me numerous addressed promotional packages that look like invitations or Birthday cards, advising that I've been pre-approved for $15,000.00 and $7500.00, but paid no attention because their rates are RIDICULOUS!
And down the road I went to a furniture store, and decided to finance to spread out the initial cost, and the furniture store uses Fairstone as a financing company, and thought should be no problem because I keep getting SPAM saying I am approved way above that rate.
So I applied for $1599.00 and I was denied, Fairstone said I don't meet the criteria?
This came as a shock, as I own, as in paid off a million dollar home with NO mortgage payments, I earn over $100,000.00 a year, and have been working and living at the same place and residence for 5+ years, PLUS I know my credit is excellent standing, as I am in process of upgrading my house and have been pre-approved for a loan of $500,000.00,
Plus I have GOLD card credit card in good standing, and a personal line of credit?
So I felt compelled to see why? I called Fairstone and was hung up on.
Something does NOT add up?
All they did is blemish my credit score by applying. FALSE ADVERTISING, BEWARE!

Worst experience with them as a vision electronic store customer
After 1 month of my purchase; Be aware with Fairstone financial as vision has credit card with them. They didn’t send a statement but the card only! I missed my first payment and still doesn’t know how much I owe for this month or any of my account information. When I call them office is always closed, no access at the weekend or after 5 pm with western time, what age is it? I will not ever use this fairstone financial for any purposes in my life or any future financial needs!

I would never deal with this company again. I had an 18month 0 interest plan on a tv from visions. I was on my last payment coming up to the end and they changed my promotional period before the 18 months ended 2.5 week earlier and back charged me the interest accrued for the entire loan! Almost $800 when I had 1 more payment of around $250 to make. They said they could do it because I missed a min payment on one of the months. When I called and asked where it says they can do that they kept saying the same thing and gave me no proof in writing. This is a SCAM. I will be taking this further but please be warned and do not use this company. They treated me terribly when trying to sort this out and gave me no proof or answers why they were able to do that. Please be warned

I will not give them 1 star. They should compensate me for what they have done to me.
This is my story. I am a regular client for years, I have business so whenever I need petty cash I would go and loan some from them, when they are still CITI. I was a good payer, never missed a payment and paid my dues ahead of time.

Today, I would like to borrow 1,500 for emergency use, my car just broke down. I called and talked to VIVIC, he said ok send me your payslip and in one hour I have a decision for you.

I sent him my payslip followed by a call.

He told me to come because I got approved by 5,000. I told him because It's snowing It's too dangerous to travel 15 kms, but then again I need the money for my car, I asked him what he needs because I live far I would like to go there just to get the check and go, he said just my ID-so I came. He made me wait for 5 minutes and then he said "sorry Rosanna, you have TD bank loan It's disapproved"

What the hell? Are we talking english here, which part I did not understand, or what part of conversation he did not understand?

He assured me I just need my ID he will give me my money.
It's snowing SO HARD and to add that while I was parking the car I am using I slide and scratch the side.

This company is a BIG JOKE! Full of LIES and STUPID!
I should get compensated by wasting my 2 hours going there and break my car more.

Advice to whoever the owner is: Hire knowledgeable employees who knows what exactly they are doing.

I will never ever step there again.
