I wish I could rate this company a 0. I once bought a t.v from vision electronics and at the time they required me to go through a financial aid company. This was about 10 years ago and ever since then, I have been getting letters from fairstone about loans that I never asked for and no matter how many times I’ve called their help line to remove myself from their mail list, they keep sending letters.
I’m close to filing an official harassment complaint. This is ridiculous

Shahannah the manager was very helpful and accommodating. I called her when I needed emergency funds. Interest is based on your credit rating. If banks won't approve you and you tried other lending. Call them. Just be responsible and set what can you afford to pay. -Dennis

Shahannah, the branch manager is so sweet. She made the whole experience very comfortable! Shes got a great personality and connects well with her customers, no matter the age group. I found her very sweet. Unlike traditional banks, sitting down with a financial advisor can be quite intimidating and you feel judged, I didnt feel that way at all. My mom has done business with her, this was my first time meeting her and I cant stress enough on how great she was! Highly recommend! Great product knowledge and such a people person!

Once my Loan is paid up i will never ever do any business with this business again. They were good when they were citi financial. Now! Liers and swindlers. Terrible business advise which i did t listen to anyways.but the Guy gave himself away. That being said.do, do not listen to these people or use their services.

It is very difficult, scary and embarrassing to have to ask for help sometimes.
My agent at the 3355 North Road location was a blessing.
She was empathetic and even brought my amount owed down $700.
I could tell that she cared about the well being of myself and my daughter. She never pressured me in any kind of way.
I left with my head held high.
There was also two VERY nice gentleman in the entrance office who engaged with my daughter (age 4) the entire time that I was in the office with my agent.
My daughter didn’t want to leave. Lol!

Wonderful service! I went there last month and I was so amazed by how they treat their clients most especially Shahannah Brooks, the lady who helped me. Very accommodating, excellent customer service! I will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends!

I would NEVER recommend this company. If you shop around there are much better options out there to help you if you are in a bind. I was assessed a sizeable levy by my strata for my share of our building's renovation. I panicked (my first mistake). I had received one of Fairstone's offers in the mail and I decided I needed to act quickly. Instead of a LOAN, they offered me a second mortgage. This gave them a fully secured loan, but they insisted they could only do it at credit card rates! I was desperate and agreed. I soon regretted it. It set me so far back financially. I finally was able to renegotiate a very favorable mortgage with my primary lender. Getting a payout statement from Fairstone was a nightmare, and so was getting them to communicate with my bank. They made it as unpleasant as possible.
They will also try to get you to sign for insurance or "add-ons" you do not need. If you have a home, and are having difficulty, consult a mortgage broker before you go this road. The broker charges you NOTHING and may be able to negotiate a deal for you with one of the major banks at a reasonable rate.
Beware, even when you think you are rid of Fairstone they will continue to send you solicitations by mail, email, and telephone. They are relentless.
