MOLD, MOLD, MOLD.

MOLD in their deli products. MOLD in their sour cream, reqrapped related meat. This is disgusting, if I wasn't so desperate time to time to get groceries cause u live up the road then I wouldn't never purchase from here. I just ordered from their deli, all the stuff was steaming and looked good I had to get their biggest box and lo and behold, MOLD in their white fish and prawns. I feel like puking now. Thanks fairways

Nice clean and well organized store. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Good selection and a few things you don't find elsewhere around Langford.

Friendly service. Good assortment of fresh produce. Meat was fairly priced. Convenient location in the Westshore Mall.

I went in for bananas and left with bananas and a smile. I wish I knew the cashiers name. She made my day ️

Great store for purchasing Asian products. Sometimes selection is not the best for produce and I avoid meat products due to quality.

Friendly staff, better prices, and a good selection of international foods are my reasons for shopping at Fairway Market!

You better check every expire dates because the staff do not. Everything I bought looks like it is on sale but the receipt says savings are only $8 on $300 purchases? Some items that are on sale have mostly non-sale items in the spots so you end up paying 200% more than what is displayed so you have to memorize the price of everything in your cart and watch the cash register like a hawk while you are loading your own bags. I don't trust this store and anything they advertise or display and now avoid this place. There are many other places to buy food in this area. I don't know how they stay in business.

Literally the worst grocery store in town. Save your time and money and go absolutely anywhere else. Walmart, Superstore and thirty foods are just as close and way better.

Morning crowd of customers. Hot sunny day. Entered store to purchase an ice cold coke to quench my parched throat. A light snack of salmon sushi too.

This store has rats.
It's second time we bought tortilla wrap that clearly ate by rats. I called VIHA and got confirmed that this store has rats and they've been working on it since August. I bought in September and apparently it's not solved yet.
When we tried to return the wrap, the store manager gave us hard time not having receipt, rather than apologize for having the rat ate the wrap!

PS. There is inspection report on VIHA website people can check.

The building itself is old and has (presumably) seen better days. Despite the oppressive cold war era shopping experience complete with dimming lights and grungy stale earth-tone walkways between stores in the mall, this fairways is surprisingly well stocked.

I have to admit I dont think I'll be going back to this store. The staff are very friendly however not one member was wearing a mask and there was very little signage for Covid19. Nearly every store I have entered has arrows for the aisles but there was nothing
Signs for line ups at cashier was very confusing.
Sorry but I'll be shopping elsewhere for now.

If always loved my experience at Fairway. And in these trying times, I feel they are doing great.

I went to the post office 20 minutes before they closed and there was a small line of maybe 4 people. The manager came and put a closed sign right between myself and the person in front of me at 4: 50 and walked away without saying anything. I asked the lady at the counter if they'd still be serving me and she just rolled her eyes at me. It was 4: 55 at that point and they closed at 5. When I asked her why she could not serve me, she said that I came after closing time and they only serve people who arrive before 5. I had gotten there at 4: 40. I asked the manager who did that why he did that and he just walked away fron me. Extremely disappointed with the customer service. My first and last time I'll walk into a Fairway Market.

The only reason to shop at Fairway is they carry Asian grocery, but they often do not rotate their items and be cautious they sell expired products my experience is they won’t refund my money if they can replace it. Terrible service

I was standing in line with only two items. An employee came and said to me that the lineup at the express playing with shorter. So I went over there, and it wasn't. So the employee felt bad and said come over here and I'll ring you through this till. That got me out of the store really fast with my two items. This unusual situation brought a smile to my face.

Always understaffed, manager and higher ups just walk past the signs and make faces and laugh.

Only go here when you really need something from a foreign location

Buy your meats here! Particularly Lamb. Great prices. Fish of almost every variety. Good ethnic shopping from the Brits to the Chinese.
Only problem here are the shopping carts which are outside the centre and need a coin. However, the lads will help you with carryout.

If you're coming here expecting an experience similar to the market at Millstream or Yates, you're going to be disappointed. Hard to believe they're the same chain, honestly.

Bought a bag of red grapes and they should not have been sold, used maybe
20% of them, the rest were rotten!
Now the only check out before 9 am is customer service, if your leading me to the new Thrifty's, you're doing a good job.

They carry all the stuff that you can find elsewhere. Plus for a solid lunch, a fairway wrap is a safe bet. For 7 dollars for get a build-your-own wrap the size of a small child. They also have the best wine gums I've ever found, oddly enough.
