Fairway Market

At this location and I ran into a produce worker who offered to check for the soy milk that was empty on the shelf that my daughter desperately needed in order to go down for her nap. I was so grateful and I really love coming to this place.

Plenty of international foods, it's where I found the soba noodles I was looking for. Thanks guys!

In general, the price is low and quality of food is good. I like the Hong Kong style bun very much.

This is the only Fairway that I give 4 Stars. The other ones do not measure up to 3 stars never mind 4.
The cashiers are nice and helpful.

Fantastic and they had everything on my list although with good prices rising we can and most likely will c due to COVID unfortunate affects like the new if truckers aren't vaccinated they can't enter Canada

They have great selection of Asian food and price is reasonable. I come here once a month for my grocery.

One of the better selection stores I've seen. Many types of international aisles, from Dutch to Filipino with everything in-between.
I am not kidding, me and my partner spent about an hour roaming around happily looking at all the unique variety of things they have.

Good produce and a great selection for many types of ethnic foods. Only reason not 5 stars is their isles are quite narrow.

Competitive pricing, safe shopping, and easy to find with free parking available. Only downside is that it is located at an traffic light intersection, so it may take a while to get out to the main road due to high traffic.

Bought a turkey thigh. Was marked down $3. Went home and cooked it at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours. Tough and tastless and very disappointed. Will not buy any meat there again or any other Fairway store. What a disappointment! First time I have ever had this happen to me and I have baked lots of turkey thighs.

Fairway has good, diverse, ethnic produce and they have good covid protocols. They also disinfect the till after each customer.

Close to home, good prices and friendly staff. I like that they open early so I can get my shopping done before the regular rush.

Only downside is within the 1st hour of opening only customer service is open to ring through all your purchases. If you have a cart of items its inconvenient for you and the cashier.

Prepare for your perishable items to sour and rot as you wait for the most methodical and tediously slow checkout clerk to read each items label in its entirety, prior to scanning it and delicately place it gingerly in the bag. Watched the clerk spend no less than a full minute to open a customer's shopping bag (that's it, not a complicated procedure, nothing strange about this Fairway's reusable bag. This while their line up grew to 7, increasingly frustrated, people.

Perfect if you are shopping for more exotic ingredients also the prices are amazing, and you can get some really great deals on meats and produce.

Careful with night shift Asian man who doesn't like you touching the bananas which are in the way of the scale, he gets angry at you.

Decent produce but watch stale dated or soon to expire meat etc. Not particularly good customer service but cheaper than other chains. Big differences between stores.

Good selection, reasonable price, sll kind of meats, imports & vegetables. A must plave if you love Mexican, Chinese, Philipino or Vietnamese cuisine.

Rude Staff. High Prices. Old produce. *Most items overpriced or low in quality & overpriced! For example a low quality basmati rice (Gold brand) is sold for the price of top basmati rice. *Organic produce is always old. *Rude Staff. A middle-aged Asian guy stocking shelves, when asked a question about where an item was became very angry why his shefing work was interrupted! Another day, the white 25-ish cashier put his finger in his nose before he gave me a receipt. To these two life is unhappy and in dirts! But Fairway is not forced to hire primitives, nor does it have to give us old or low quality food for higher prices! Why would any intelligent person care to go there, again? !

Whilst this is an all round excellent store, the most inticing factor to come back was definitely the produce department - which was the greatest I have ever had the peivellage of visiting. Forget shopping, this was an experience! With a wide selection of amazing fresh fruit and veg this department will make you come back for more everytime. But what truly made the experience for me was the staff. They were so friendly and willing to help me with any questions I had, especially a dashing and handsome young man named Harry. All in all, a great experience

The best thing about Fairway is the produce. Generally speaking, their prices are a bit higher than others but they do have some awesome specials so keep your eye on the flyer. The staff seems friendly and happy so they must be treated well, I hope. If you are in need of Asian inspired products Fairway Market is the best place for a good selection. It's also nice for those of us who like to buy a bulk water that they now have vending machines in store to do that. Also they are to be commended for excellent community service including their support of the Salvation Army's Christmas hamper project. Good corporate citizens!
