Food at Falafel Cafe is always good - the best in fact in Mediterranean fare! Appreciate the friendly neighbour atmosphere and camaraderie from Mustafa!

Really enjoyable. Would recommend trying it out and would go back again. Chicken wrap was great. Seems a bit small but price is reasonable. Lamb platter had plenty of lamb. Good flavours although I did find the rice a little softer than I usually like.

Great to grab a quick bite to eat. The value is there, and the flavors are good. I would definitely return for the chicken shawarma plate.

The BEST place for shawarma in Vancouver. Absolutely zero complaints about the food but location isn’t the nicest, definitely recommend doing takeout.

Consistently delicious shawarma platters. There's no better consistency than when 1 guy runs the shop. You don't get that anywhere. The chicken is just always so good it's addictive. Truly a hidden gem.

I went there several times just because of curiosity since the owner told us it’s sold out when we first visited.
Second time, he told me I should come earlier even though I was there two hour before closing time.
The third time finally I had chance to try the falafel, and it was dissappointed. Especially the amount of hummus was absurd. It definietely didn’t worth my effort.

Amazing! Some of the best shawarma I’ve had in town. Prices are very reasonable and the gentleman working here is lovely. 10/10

Veggies in the wrap and in the salad from the platters are always crisp and fresh. Highly recommend.
I used to order here on avg.once week when i lived a block away so it was sad to hear owner is struggling with the business nowadays.

The best shawarma you will find on the Kingsway corridor. Very modest pricing, and flippin' delicious chicken shawarma. I'm stoked to try the lamb, it wasn't ready when I was there. Will 100% be back, thos is my new spot.

Very good. I've tried each of their platters over the last few weeks and they were all delicious. The falafel platter was the biggest surprise. I didn't imagine I'd like the falafel as much as I did, since I normally go for meat, but it was one of the tastiest platters.

First chicken shawarma wrap / donair since before the pandemic. Delicious and tender chicken, and sauce is slightly spicy! Looking forward to trying more on the menu.

Best chicken shawarma in Vancouver, hands down. The place is no frills but the owner/chef is a gem.

Chicken Shawarma plate came out to 12.7x ($. 75 charge for credit cards). Overall the chicken was great, though the rice portion was a little lacking, my only real gripe would probably be that the kitchen itself doesn't look the cleanest. Would recommend.

I get a donair atleast twice a month and everytime i travel and as far as flavors go this place has the best wrap I've ever had. The owner mixes a middle eastern dish with african spices from his hometown to give you a taste like no other. 10/10 best donair I've tried in the world

Lamb, chicken, falafel plates are all delicious (spiced and cooked amazingly well). We tried it for first time and thoroughly impressed, especially for the price.

So yummy! Got a chicken wrap. It was so full and the sauces were delicious. (I asked for no tomatoes and a few other things)

The Chicken Shawarma is really enjoyable, both wrap and platter. Not a fancy place, but really good for takeouts. The owner is also too sweet.

Everyone’s right about this place. I’m two bites in and already know this is the best shawarma I’ve ever had. Owner is super friendly, does take his time, but the food is definitely worth the wait.

Unbelievable food, and best lamb in the city by far. The lamb just melts in your mouth, the salad and hummous are made with the freshest ingredients, and everything is so affordable. Such a great spot, the owner is the nicest man and he really takes pride in his restaurant, which you can tell when you taste his food. Would recommend to everyone!

One of the best falafel places in town. Ask for their lamb and taste the divine. Their chicken wrap/plate is so delicious too. Its a casual place, so don't expect fancy service as the owner does all of the work!

This place is amazing! I think it might be the best chicken shawarma that I’ve had in Vancouver. Everything is homemade and very fresh. It’s worth going out of your way to eat here.

I come here for the same thing every week:

Falafel platter (spicy) and the chicken wrap. I really love this combination, it fills me up and i dont need a snack later in the night.

The owner runs this place by himself, and is an old school cook - you have to make the effort to connect with him, but once you do, its like having an old friend.

One thing i do wish, is that he had pickles, radishes, etc. - the greek salad is good, but it lacks the variety i crave.
