Famoso Italian Pizzeria - Morgan Crossing

Fabulous 7" pizza with the capriosa salad. Very nicely cooked, flavours were wonderful. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and our server was charming and helpful. HIGHLY recommend.

First time coming to Famosas. Ordered appies and soup and salad. The service was very slow considering there was only 3 tables with customers. Ceaser.salad was not good but was advise by one of the cooks that it is the best. I should like it! I would probably not come back to this location.

Bad experience. Asked for extra chili oil for multiple times but never got one, not once. Please learn to read the comments on your UberEats orders. Or if you are reluctant to provide extras just put them on your menu for extra cost.

Just putting it out, that when you order chicken wings you should be getting wings only! Stop adding garbage drum stick's to cut costs! Your menu specifies wings not drum stick's! When anyone orders wings, they want wings to be clear. Not cost saving drum stick's.

Pizzas delicious especially their dessert Nutella pizza. I also left something on the table which I came and picked up the next morning. The staff are very nice.

Always have an amazing experience at this Famosa- Great tasting food (they don’t cheap out on toppings either), great service (owner greets and chats with us). It’s a quieter location, very kid friendly as well. Wish they can stay in business for a long time. We live a bit far away but always make the drive for a wonderful dining experience.

We celebrate my niece birthday yesterday and it was great, my first time but not the last. Chicken parmigiana was delicious, even my daughter finished her food. Service was amazing, and the location had an small open patio on the back perfect for summer.

This famoso location is amazing! The staff is always attentive and efficient, and incredibly friendly. The food is always consistent and delicious, definitely well worth the price. We have been coming here for over a year and will continue to come back time and time again despite it being a 30 minute drive and there being closer locations to Ladner.

Pizza was ok. The crust was definitely not neopolitan, which is disappointing. I hope that they return to their previous crust recipe soon. The Alfredo pasta was just terrible. Really, the Alfredo sauce tasted worse than something out of a jar. I previously had a tomato sauce pasta dish and it was not good either. I recommend steering clear of the pasta dishes entirely,

Pizza was undercooked and is not crispy and for the price is not worth it. I recommend going to thrifty foods for their wood fire pizza as it is cheaper, with a thin crispy crust and better taste. Overrrated here.

ETA: I've decided to edit my review after ordering from Famoso multiple times after this incident and receiving only the best pizzas. My first experience seems to have been a one off.

Ordered two pizzas. First one was great, second one was a bit of cheese and nothing else despite ordering a prosciutto and arugula pizza. Not worth the $30 charged that’s for sure.: (

Starting with the Food:
The Pizza itself was good. No complaints about the taste, however, that's about where the good news ends in regards to the food. The wait for the Pizza was long, taking 20 to 25 minutes to make a Pizza when I was the only one in the Restaurant. The Price for a 12' Margherita Pizza is $17.50, which is on the expensive side. Many other Pizzerias offering the same products would serve a 14' for the same price. It was very disappointing in that regard.

The Staff was helpful, however a bit overbearing. When enjoying a Dinner it's alright to be asked how the food is, but interjecting into customers conversations in order to chat with them feels frustrating during a dinner.

On to the Decor, Look, and Cleanliness of the place.
In the Dining room, everything looks exquisite. The decor is beautiful, and you can watch them make your Pizza in a traditional oven displayed proudly. There were no odors to the restaurant or anything of that nature. However, the Washrooms were not in a great state. The Mens Bathroom, at the least, is very small. About, or smaller than, the size of a broom closet. Very uncomfortable to use, although clean.

Well.unlike other Famoso restaurants in metro Vancouver they do NOT serve Napolitan pizza here. The topping is not bad but the crust is definitely NOT Napolitan. Leaving 3 stars only because the staff is friendly.

They have changed their crust from a Neapolitan style to the same thick North American type crust that most pizzeria's have. Their point of differentiation is now gone.

I bring my family here. Always nice and calm with great service. The owners are always pleasant and treat kids so nicely.

The waitress was sweet. The place was empty and for a good reason. We spent $88 on at horrible eating experience. Not the same restaurant at all. Just don’t go. I’m sitting on the toilet writing this … Sad thing is the waitress mentioned she noticed we only sit one pice and my daughter sit half piece of her pizza and they didn’t offer a discount. It was so bad we had to laugh as it was my birthday and I wanted the mood to be upbeat.

This restaurant is amazing. I honestly just typed pizza in the search bar. Nearby location as I was driving south towards the border. Salad and pizza ordered and made fresh.:)
