My visit to Famoso Pizzeria left me with an unforgettable experience, thanks to their delightful Primavera pizza. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to find this delicious option, which was one of the few veg choices available on their menu.

The pizzas are great, especially the Siciliano, but I'd avoid the pasta and meatballs, really lacked any flavor/was too bland.

Was here today for lunch on a Sunday. We had excellent service from our waitress and the pizza and wings were fresh tasting and excellent. The perfect summer treat

I told the employee I was in a hurry.

I ordered takeout. The restaurant was almost empty. And I was waiting and waiting.
And waiting.

Finally the person who took my order said.
Oh
It’s been ready for a while.

Sitting at the counter.
My order was sitting there ready.

I didn’t tip for take out.

Maybe that was a the reason.

There are so many good places too eat. With
Real Kind people.

Do not waste your time or money here.

The only reason for not giving 5 stars to the food is because the dressing in the Caesar salad was weak for my taste, has been like that always therefore I don't order it anymore and I like salad with my pizza
The pizza itself is at par with Marcellos and Lombardos in Comercial drive

Had to clean the table and took a while to order other than that it was fine.and the soup was to die for.so good.but the toast was not very garlicky?

The Napoli salad was horrible! Just a soggy mess! Way over priced for what you get! The burnt pizza crust it came with was cold and stale! What happened Famoso? Use to be so good!

This is a good spot to go for pizza and beers. I watched the cooks making the pizza, and they put lots of care and attention into the process. The end product was very good with nice dough. My kids enjoyed their pizza too. When I asked about beers on tap, they had my favorite Fat Tugs ipa. The bill was reasonable for a night out. Well done and will be back to try happy hour.

A truly disappointing takeout experience. Pizza was cold and multiple items were missing. Portions are getting smaller and smaller. Won't be ordering from this location again.

My wife and I often went to this location and things have gone terribly wrong. They have cheaped out on the quality and quantity of pizza ingredients. We ordered a large Vesuvio Pizza and they put about half of the spicy salami and the don’t put on Foote de Latte cheese or Basil that we’re used to and the menu clearly states. We asked the manager/owner and she stated that they don’t make the 15 inch the same as the 12 inch. We were shocked and asked why, she said she didn’t know. I know why, you’re getting cheap. Even the Ricotta cheese on the tomato bisque isn’t the same and poor quality. I give this place a few months at best and it’ll be closed for good. It’s garbage

Man. I love famosos so much and I was really looking forward to eating here. We were sitting near the kitchen and I literally saw an employee eating in the kitchen. Making customer food while HOLDING HIS OWN FOOD in his mouth and then grabbing his food with bare hands. Absolutely disgusting. Ruined my night and I ate somewhere else. Why man. WHY.

We love going to Famoso. Not only their pizzas taste great, their pastas and tomato bisque is to die for. Authentic Italian Pizzas that are non greasy and loaded with veggies/meat. Recommend it:)

It's my first time having dinner at Famoso Guildford. I ordered the Italian style chicken wings, meatball appetizer, tomato soup and the vesuvio pizza and I really love the food and the presentation. Highly recommended!

Whenever we crave Italian Style Pizza, this is one of our go-to places. Pizzas are awesome especially their Margherita and Sicilian. I love that they also have my favourite Peach Margarita. They also have the best Gelatos and Salted Caramel is my fave. Place is awesome and bar-like, their service is great and washrooms are clean too. A great choice after a quick shopping at Guildford Mall. We will definitely be back

Worst pizza ever! Ordered 2 regular sized pizzas for delivery thru skip the dishes. When pizzas arrived they were soggy and soft. Box stated that if need be you could reheat the pizza at max temp for no more than 2mins to make it crisp again. After reheating both pizzas for 3mins (just to be safe) they were both still a soggy mess. Skip only refunded 50% so i basically paid Famoso money to throw their pizza away. Iv had better pizza from lunchables. If i could give zero stars i would.

Nice restaurant nice staff.

I’ve been in this location for few times and I love the food.staffs are nice, pasta and pizza they recommended are delicious. I personally recommend the prawn pasta and Abruzzo pizza. My kids like their Gelato, hope they have more choices in the future.

The waiter Kenny is an excellent person. Fantastic customer service. I celebrated my birthday, and he was an absolute joy. The food is delicious. We had the chicken wings twice. Pizza is definitely tastier than your Little Caesars. Meatballs are surprisingly quite delicious. They have ice cream here, but the options are limited. I like the place a lot. I would come here again.

This place well never let you down. From a helpful and kind staff too a stunning and refreshing drink menu, too great pasta, pizza and salads. Thete four cheese bianca is a great pick or there linguine and meatballs (my fav) are safe and tastey bets if your not sure what to pick. There sangria is also very thrist quenching and refreshing.

Expectations were high for this place and boy what a let down it was. Got it delivered from skip the dishes, pizza was warm but it was soggy the crust was chewy taste was a little bland. Definitely won't be ordering from here again!

I don't know what happened with this place in the last year or so but for sure is not Famoso quality. Is like they cut off on the ingredients. For a real Famoso quality I will have to look somewhere else. To bad.

Such an amazing and thin crust pizza along with other options. Kids also enjoy their food everytime we go there

I ordered pizza for the first time with GF crust and Daiya cheese. I chose the Cavoletti. When the order arrived, I was surprised to find the toppings were 1-2 inches from the edge and virtually no cheese. Upon closer look, there was a little bit of cheese between the crust and the toppings, but barely any. The GF crust was tough and crumbly, and the pizza was cold when it arrived. I called the restaurant directly and was given the alibi that because it was DF cheese that they only put a little bit of it. This does not look or eat anything like a pizza and completely put a damper on a pizza date night which I was really excited about, AND I was excited to try this pizza place as I wanted to support a local restaurant. I was offered a $10 credit for the next take-out order, which was even more lame that they didn't offer to replace it with a different/better pizza or a refund. If you are GF/DF or vegan, you're better off ordering from Panago - they do a much better job making GF/DF pizza taste and look as close to the real thing as possible.

Perhaps the best Neapolitan place I've tried out of two restaurants. You know you are getting fresh ingredients and you can taste it. However the downside of authentic is the taste. You can thank the Americans for taking the taste factor further. Still, a nice sunny afternoon on the patio with beer goes a long way in enjoying their varied offerings. I enjoyed their tomato bisque soup and shrimp pizza (total sucker for seafood pizza). However, taste wise be ready to recalibrate your expectations as comparisons would be unfair if one is to stick to authenticity like these guys do.

Very good authentic pizzas. I had a San Andreas pizza today. The combination of flavors was interesting but it turned out really tasty. It was a pizza of the month for me! I would recommend if you are looking for a some good pizza.

I love coming here to eat be it lunch or dinner. I enjoy and love their pasta pomodoro with their ancient meatballs. Their pizza is baked in a special oven making it so tasty and authentic. The vibe is quite modern and hip for all ages. I am always coming back for more and trying new stuff on their menu

My family just had a great time eating here! We loved the food. We ordered a cheese ball wrapped with smoked ham for the starter. It was excellent! Even my little picky eater had a lot. The pizzas were also great like before. The most important thing is that I still had the same enjoyable and relaxing feeling like the first time I went there! Thanks for the friendly waitress! She timed very well to check on us when we need her!

Just went in for dinner. Am very disappointed as they seem to prioritize take out orders over the people who have taken the time to go to them. We ordered soup and salad and a kids margarita pizza. It took them 45 mins to get it to us at which point we had to go to try to make it to our movie on time. As we were leaving we realized no cutlery for anything was provided. Add another 5 mins to get a spoon! Needless to say we did not make our movie in time and had to eat in the car. Not at all what we had anticipated for our family night out. I guess we’ll try to see the movie tomorrow.

This is a regular place for my friends and I to visit and we have never had a disappointing thing ever happen! Very accomodating especially since we have children.
