I was looking for a pizza place to order but after reading the reviews decided not to go here. You guys really need to do something, you don’t have much competition around to afford being such “so-so” place.

It was OK - for pizza last minute on a Sunday evening. Walked in and waited (time for a glass of wine) - got it to go. Nice enough, but SLOW and then forgot part of our order (which hubby caught before we left thankfully). Be sure to check your order and request any thing you find you might want/need - napkins, forks, sauces…

Super friendly staff, easy to order, my order was ok not what expected but by far the best pizza in town

We saw not so great reviews but we were craving pizza and wanted to give it a shot.
I was hoping I would write a good review but was disappointed.
I asked for olives on the prosciutto and arugula pizza.
When I got my pizza, the arugula was in poor condition (yellow, kinda dirty) and looked like it had been ripped apart. The olives were not cooked and looked as though they were added as an after thought. There was barely any cheese and it looked like I was eating just bread as the cheese started half way down the slice and was sparse even at the bottom.
Atmosphere is kinda dirty and not a vibe. Have enjoyed famoso pizza before and this did not live up to the standard.
Poor server seemed to be the only one hustling but our water was only filled once and it was a very small cup.

Flavour wise I’d give it a 5. The first time we ordered, the pizza was missing all the toppings over a section equivalent to almost an entire slice. But it tasted so good. We didn’t mind ordering from the place the second day. Unfortunately, our second order was even more messed up when we order I got Patrosa and got home to a mushroom pizza instead. We tried calling for a long time to two separate numbers, and none of the phone numbers seemed to be working properly - so we were unable to contact them about their. We don’t like mushrooms, so we had cooked to come up with a different solution for food, which was annoying after ordering online and waiting.

I don’t know how to say it as I rarely leave a negative review but management needs to get someone new on the pizza making. Was the worst pizza I’ve had in past 4 years of travel. For some reason there was a ton of actual salt crystals on the pizza and the crust was basically soggy. Step it up guys you can do so much better.

We’ve eaten at Famoso locations all over Canada and this did not disappoint! The ambiance was very different from other locations but the food was amazing. The pizza came out fresh, delicious in the neopolitan way and everything was wonderful!

You can never go wrong with a Famoso pizza

We ordered a large Hawaiian pizza (gotta love sweet with savoury) for takeout on a Monday night which was ready for pick up 40 minutes after we called in.
It was very hot when we picked it up.
But why so stingy with the pineapples? There was barely enough pineapple chunks for one per slice. Very disappointing. However, the rest of the pizza was good so that's why I'm giving 3 stars though I would've like to give 2.5.
Not sure if I'd go to this particular Famoso restaurant again but I haven't lost faith in the chain yet!

I don't think people here in Sechelt understand what true Neopolitan style pizza is. Yes, it's thin. Therefore, there are not as many toppings so you don't overwhelm the pizza. It's just the way it is. I love Famoso's with its thin crust pizza that you can fold into quarters (the way you're supposed to with Neopolitan pizza) and eat one per person. Yes, that's the way the Italians do it. It's ok, we'll catch on, eventually.
