Famous Players 6 Cinemas

Feels like a bit of an older theatre. The sound was very good and the seats were comfortable. The only negative I can say was their arcade is almost half out of order, especially the air hockey machine that was very little air that still works.

Needs an update. Badly.
Seats are worn-out, food is outrageously priced for how long it sits in the warmer. PG Needs a proper Cineplex!

Theater hasn't been updated since the 90s. There are very rarely 2d showings only 3d showings. Not sure why they only show 3d. The staff don't care and don't clean anything. Sadly it's our only Theater in town so if you want to see a movie you have to go there or wait till it's released at home.

This is a movie theater. It has a small arcade. I wish there was more to say but that's really it! They haven't changed much in the last few decades, just have what they have and are running it like they always have.
Overpriced food/drinks, clean but never quite CLEAN theaters and seats. They still get a 4 stars because i don't have anything bad to say, they provide a movie theater experience. Its not great, it's not bad, but it gets the job done!

From a small town? No "big screen" at home? Wanna watch a new film? This is the place to go! Many movie options, the theatres are normally kept meat and tidy, and the staff are really great. A huge recommendation if you wanna night out.

Movie theater is fine but could use some upgrades and a good clean and the arcade games are terrible. All the arcade games are 30+ years old and 75% of them are broken and most of the others will eat your coins. There's really only about 3-4 that actually work and will not eat your coins.

This is a nice theatre with fairly comfortable seats, lots of auditoriums and nice, big screens. They always have the latest movies in 2D and 3D, which is nice. My biggest complaint is their concession is overpriced, even for a theatre, and their men's washroom is always out of hand sanitizer. I always point out that it's empty, but staff don't bother to refill it.

Very dirty, garbage seats. Hasn’t been changed or updated in 25 plus years. Really needs an update bad. Usually wait until I’m out of town to go to a movie elsewhere.

Absolutely awful! We're not prepared at all for a busy night with the Mario movie. I get everyone does their best but we waited well over 25 minutes in line and missed the first part of the movie. We got there at 6: 50. They had one person checking tickets (barely). They need some serious upgrades, absolutely horrendous.

One of the worst theaters. Sent a letter to head office asking when they plan to do upgrades. We received a response that they have no intentions to ever reno our theater regardless of how bad a condition it's in and they will run it till it will be forced to close. I won't support this location if head office shows they don't care.

Let me just say, I have never had an issue with the staff! They have always been lovely.
However, the condition of the theatre shocked me today
Theatre seats were torn up and unusable. The arcade games were almost all busted. I watched tons of kids run around with tokens, however majority of the games were out of service and some of the ones that did work, were still busted and hardly useable. We were going to play air hockey and the table turned on (surprisingly) but no puck dropped lol
Thought the kids could try the claw machine and the 'win everytime' side was completely empty and dirty.
Im glad my kids are young and didn't care because it made me feel embarrassed to be there.
The theatre could be such a fun experience so it's sad to see how worn down and uncared for Prince George's theatre is.

Famous players? Been to Famous Players across the province, this place is horrible! The popcorn, is one of reasons to enjoy a night out at the movies, it was disgusting and the butter too was terrible, I’ve had no name microwave popcorn taste better then what they have here. Theatres are out dated, looks like same seats from the 60's. The smell in the theatres, disgusting! Smell if mild! And the prices, same as other famous players? This one here is by far the worst famous players in BC.

Sticky floors, sad washroom facilities, uncomfortable seating, grungy appearance. When you’re paying this much for a short experience you’d hope to be comfortable during.

Great customer service 90% of the time!

Way overpriced. In need of reno’s and cleaning. Broken seats, sticky floors, garbage can overflowing, and no toilet paper in the washrooms. Do better.

Best place to see movies if you don't have a theater in your home. Family of 4, catching a movie with popcorn and pop? Can't do that too often ($$). It's the full experience.

I love going to the movies but have been disappointed on the management at this location. The place is not clean, not even close and make sure you look before you sit down. Seats are broken and floors are sticky. They're the only theatre in town so I guess they can do whatever they like.
