Farm Bound

Ordered a box in July, haven’t recieved the box or a refund after many emails to the company.

Farm bound is the right place if anyone wants to buy locally grown organic, fresh produce & fruits and many more local artisan's items like bar soaps, tooth paste, shampoo & conditioner bars, variety of Organic coffee beans and lot more, moreover, they also offer home delivery service in and around Vernon! Visit their warehouse sale days to see wide range of veggies, fruits and many more.

Very poor experience. I ordered a veggie box in April that was never delivered. Krystal apologized and said my payment would be refunded. It is over two months later and I still have not received the refund. I have made numerous attempts to follow up via phone and email and have received no response.

Beware, they don't pack any insulation in the delivery so all my lettuces came frozen and mush. Don't order when it's cold out!
Most of my delivery went straight to the compost, waste of money.

I regularly receive orders delivered to my home from this lovely organic grocer! I've never been disappointed and really love the ease of ordering quality, natural food online. Super user friendly! The staff is courteous and kind.

Love the concept but this business is so unorganized and communication is pretty much impossible with anyone in the company.

Farmbound is an amazing service with an amazing staff, the quality of produce and products is superb! Highly recommended for anyone living in their distribution areas. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they don't deliver to Revelstoke and so I can't utilize them now that I am not in the Vernon area.

Impressed with the service and quality of products, not to mention the convenience of being delivered to my door. I'm also thankful to Farmbound for introducing me to new products that I wouldn't likely notice/purchase if I were to see them in a grocery store. Highly recommend.

Update: After a voicemail, 3rd email, and this review, I received a quick email and I am satisfied the company is motivated to build upon their business experience to become an improved service. I am happy to continue doing business, and may even raise this to 5 if they can continue to deliver groceries I order, and manage the refund/replacement process when deliveries are difficult in difficult times.

Very, very poor delivery service to Prince George. Sent to UNBC, to a location that is only open to 2pm. Basically, if you work a normal 9-5, you can't get your food. Won't be using them again.

*Furthemore, upon getting home, your "partners" at UNBC totally forgot items that we paid for. Seriously, you guys need to do some quality control on your partners in Prince George.

The Farmbound team is full of incredible human beings who do the incredibly important work of connecting people who eat to local growers and producers. I am so lucky to live in a place where I can use their fantastic service! The food we get from Farmbound is amazing, and I feel good knowing that the money I'm spending on food is going to the people who do the hard work of growing and producing that food, which increases the robustness and resilience of our food systems. Can't say enough great things about Farmbound, thank you for everything you do!

What a zero waste gem! This place has it all: friendly staff, amazing and delicious organic produce, many, many local products and all without the plastic packaging they use in other stores, plus a compost bin for me to bring my food waste, a member discount and core values that align with my life and environmentally conscious ways! This store is the one that will hopefully inspire others to seek change, even if but small improvements. They are changing the world for the better and doing it with a great selection. I’ll be a regular forever!

Farm Bound is an organic produce business and has just recent announced that they'll have BULK- grains, beans, etc. PLUS- Bring in your bottles and refill your shampoo, conditioners, soaps, cleaning products, balsamic vinegar, oils, etc.
They are getting more and more zero waste products such as stain less steel straws, bar shampoos or conditioners.
They have KETO products and Vegan products too. They actually have a dietician formulated box if you are buying KETO or a VEGAN food box weekly!
FREE COMPOST PICK UP TOO.

*KELOWNA STORE*

Friendly staff. Cute little shop. Lots of neat niche things. Lots of local veggies and fruits, bulk spices and coffee and kombucha, laundry and house hold products.

I personally think lots of products were over priced and too expensive for most people. I wouldn't shop here for majority of my grocery needs. "Mylk" was $10 per bottle (seemed like a 1 litre glass bottle). A mason jar with a little sticker was $6 compared to $1 at other stores (Walmart or the dollar store).

I understand the message behind the company, but I think in order for this idea of zero waste to really take off the prices need to be much closer to products in the larger stores (such as Walmart, Nature's fare.). Nothing is really zero waste too. (transportation etc.).
