Just off the main highway you will find this delightful place which displays hundreds of kitschy salt and pepper shakers and delicious food.

A truly locally owned and operated business, so you can’t go wrong here.

Had breakfast which included REAL pan fried potatoes and magnificent sour dough bread. Definitely get the feeling that you can’t get a bad meal here and am happy to support this well run business.

Food was meh. There was NOBODY in there which is super odd for a Friday morning in Parksville. Glasses and utensils were dirty.

Breakfast was Okay. Coffee was watery and the fried potatoes were a bit bland for my liking. Eggs and sausage was good as well as the sour dough toast. Service was great and very friendly. The washroom could use an update.

I don't even know where to start other than saying we were disappointed. This was our first time here. We were excited to see eggs Benedict on the menu but right as we were ordering the waitress informed us that there's no hollandaise sauce. How can you call it an eggs benny without sauce? ! The food was bland, no ice in drinks, got no lemon in my water, poached eggs all over cooked severely, way over priced for what it was, could have made better food at home. The waitress was nice to us but rude to people walking in and yelling across the restaurant, I get it your busy with it being father's day an all but fake it till you make it. Won't be back.

I don't know how you can call yourself a breakfast place when you offer eggs Benny but don't offer hollandaise sauce. The pan fries are just day old boiled potatoes and still hard. Staff was friendly. I had to ask for cream for my coffee as they automatically brought milk to the table.

It's a pity that I'm just passing through Parksville, because if I had the time I'd try everything on the menu.

Google saiid this was the best breakfast in Parksville. If that’s true I feel sorry for the people that live here. Amazing service & atmosphere but food was nothing special.

We always stop at the Farmhouse whenever we are in Parksville. Great food in a friendly atmosphere, with a plethora of novelty salt and pepper shakers.

Needed some good old home-cooked food.
Finished my laundry and tried this place that's next door to the Soap n Suds Laundromat.
The food was fantastic and the service was excellent.

The waitress was nice, I had a Reuben sandwich which was very good. My partner had the potato pancakes (12 dollars) and they came with small amounts of sour cream and applesauce. There wasn't enough sauce for all of the pancakes so we asked for more and the waitress brought us additional sauce. It wasn't until we recieved the bill that we discovered that the (combined) roughly 30ml of sour cream and applesauce cost us 4 dollars (1/3 of the price of the dish) bringing the total to 16 dollars, which in my mind is quite a bit of money for some frankly quite soggy potato pancakes. It would have been nice if we at least got a heads up that there would be a charge. I will reiterate that my sandwich was good.

So so expensive for what you get.food was soggy and unseasoned: (We recognized the containers in the kitchen to be the Noname brand but everything was priced like it was made fresh in-house.

New to Parksville Thought wed try out local restaurant.
First impression there was no no one in about 10am even the staff seemed to be missing, waited quite some time before one person showed up.
The Breakfast was very poor the was Coffee weak so called pan fries were really undercooked boiled potatoes shown the grill Bacon very undercooked, I should have ordered an omelet.
On the upside they didn't charge for gluten free bread for my wife
had to ask for second coffee thinking it might be fresh pot The same terribl, will not be going back.

Great service! Food was yummy, solid portions. Just a very cute cafe! All you need for a simple breakfast!
