Farmhouse Pizza and Donair

One pizza was great the other not so much and the cost was a little higher than expected, no deals when buying two

I received a complimentary pizza after the one we had was a disappointment. This pizza was cheesy and very flavorful, just like the first time we had it. I appreciate the customer service and will be back for more pizza

We LOVE Farmhouse. Good quality ingredients, thick pizza. They have gluten free crust and they're awesome about customizing to your preferences. You can order online, which I love. Their salads are delicious, honestly everything is really good. You can't miss. Keep in mind they close at 8 and on Sundays, so plan your pizza cravings accordingly.

I had a really great lunch there today. This is a lunch counter place and there is very minimal seating. I think about 7 seats. There is pizza by the slice available and I had two slices and a doctor pepper. There were crushed red peppers and some hot sauce available to put on your slices. The slices are big! I could have been good with just one but I enjoyed trying two different kinds. I would go here for lunch again for sure. I gave it the rating I did because it's not fine dining. It's not meant to be fine dining and they do a good job of what they do. They also sell full pizzas and calzones as well. If you are looking for a quick and tasty lunch this is a good choice. Very pleasant staff as well.

Hands down thee best Donair I’ve had in the Okanagan Valley! 2pm-4pm happy hour for donairs makes it that much more desirable!

Great little place for by the slice pizza and donairs! Seating for two, waiting for four. It’s got a wide variety of options (check out the menu picture) and they are NOT skimpy on the filling! Would recommend and will likely be back again.

I was pleasantly surprised by Farmhouse Pizza & Donair. I got the BBQ Chicken & Tropical Chicken pizzas. Both pizzas had fresh toppings and a great taste.
The BBQ Chicken pizza was delicious, but I preferred the Tropical Chicken pizza. There was a touch of spicy in the sauce which made the pineapple sweet & refreshing.

I'm usually very skeptical about pizzas made by little corner restaurants. BUT.these guys make a KILLER Donair Pizza that is literally finger-lickin good!
Try it.you won't regret it!

First time using Farmhouse and our last. The pizza was burned and very dry, very little cheese, and sauce tasted off. Too bad thought we'd support local. It was $28.00 and we picked up.

Maybe I hit it on a bad night because there are so many positive reviews on here but it was brutal. Way overcooked, all the toppings fell off and it was stiff as a board. It tasted just like those old McCain pizzas you would throw in the oven when you got home from a long night of drinking. Oh…. And it was $50 for 2 x medium. Absolutely brutal.

Let's talk about the dough, it's chewy, not greasy and isn't overpowering the rest of the pie. The custom pizza's are delicious and all the gluten free and dairy free options are a great! Staff is attentive and are always great to deal with.
Take a chance on the burger pizza, it's an absolute must try.

Chicken Donair, Fantastic. I'm from AB, and I'm a definite donair/Shawarma critic. My favorite take-out!
Will 100% be back anytime I'm in Vernon. The name suits the place well - SO fresh & SO flavorful. Delicious and friendly!

Such good pizza. They load it with toppings, like almost too heavy but I'm not complaining! The crust is really good too, not too much and not too little. Recommended!

COLD DONAIR!

They didn't cook the pit bread, the meat was cold and the cheese was not melted. I bought 5 donairs and my family was stuck eating a cold dinner.

The sweet sauce is tasty. The meat is tasty, tender and moist, it's not spicy like some donairs, mild but good.

They would get a 4.5 from me if it was cooked. And a 5 Star of the meat was seasoned more or even a bit on the spicy side.

Most consistent pizza place in towns. They have pizza by the slice also during lunch hours which is convenient and very large slices. Value and quality keeps me coming back.

I order Farmhouse every once in a while as a treat. Other than Boston Pizza, this is the most expensive pizza place in town. Note a Create Your Own large 3 topping pizza will run you 36 bucks after tax and tip.

The various sauces are great and toppings are generous. Pizzas are all thin crust.

I've been ordering from here for over 15 years. Change of ownership has not impacted the flavour.

I have had their falafel donairs a couple times. Solid taste.

I recommend this place.

My one recommendation:
Run more significant discounts/promotions on pizzas. Ten years ago there was a Wacky Wednesday promotion for 2 large 2 topping pizzas for 25 bucks. This drew my brother and I in as consumers of Farmhouse pizza.

Delicious beef Donaire with gluten free wrap. The location name "Farmhouse" is new as of today (July 20 2021) so I don't know if old reviews are relevant anymore. This review is for the new one. Will come again!

Worst shawarma I’ve ever had. I heard they have a good pizza but I hesitated to go there to try their pizza after my terrible shawarma experience.

Absolutely terrible. Who makes a travesty with a tortilla and trys to pass it off as a donair? Not even the best in Vernon. And there is NOTHING that could pass as a decent donair in this town.

I ordered a pizza and it was like chewing thur a piece of leather. Overall flavor was very bland. I couldn't eat it due to my dentures and could not chew it. It was a very thin pizza also. Called back and told them this and they said they would refund me via etransfer. Still waiting on that. I would not recommend this place. Pizza was entirely inedible. And also the delivery fee of 6 dollars was not even mentioned.

Great place and very friendly. Been going here for over 10 years. Best donairs in town and they have a daily special. They messed up my order once and gave me a free pizza the next time. Highly recommend.

The girlfriend says this is the best pizza she’s ever had. The Greek salad is amazing and the cheesy bread is head and shoulders above the competition. We weren’t impressed with the wings. I prefer them to be crispy so we just threw them in the air fryer and they were perfect. Overall, consistently delicious and it’s our new favorite place to order takeout. Donairs and Calzones are awesome too!

Good Pizza. However I just got the special (as per their advertising as soon as I called) and I didn't receive the discount on my bill. So I ended up getting a pizza I hasn't planned on because of their advertising and then they didn't even give me the special. Hmmmmmm

Great pizza. Farmhouse is just down the road from our house (just moved recently) so I chose it one night because it was close.

The pizza was fantastic to the point that we were slightly shocked at it. Lots of toppings and not greasy at all.

It's now our go to for pizza whenever it's pizza night!

I've been eating Hawaiian pizza for almost 30 years, and Farmhouse is the best that I've ever had. It's perfect, and they're so friendly. The donairs are incredible as well. Do yourself a favor and go here, I drive in from Armstrong for it.

I was bummed when Casa de Mario's sold, as the new place got a bit of a bad rep. But now that Farmhouse has opened up, it's even better than it ever was.

This is the best pizza in the city. The only thing that they take more seriously than their food is their customer service.

I came in tonight and put in my order containing 3 pizzas and 2 starters. Upon coming to pick it up, the one lady realized that she had forgotten to make one of my pizzas. She was so sincerely apologetic and offered to make the pizza immediately while also offering to refund me the cost of it. I declined the refund as the wait was well worth it for the awesome pizza and cheesy sticks.

This place is amazing. From friendly staff to quick service its definitely a place to try out. They have daily specials for each day (my favorite is Friday) I dont eat pizza, but I get their donair all the time. All the ingredients are really fresh and I am never disappointed. I would reccomend this place to anyone who wants quality food for a really good price.

We had a Donaire and it was ok. Little light on the meat for me but my wife liked it. Sauces were great.

The last two times we ordered the Donair Pizza with GF crust, I was blown away. There was a mass amount of toppings and the crust was cooked perfectly. This is the way a pizza should be!
I believe that the owner made both of them, so here's a shout out to you!

I’m not happy.

I tend to consume on minimum, eight donairs per month (96 donairs/year). So believe me when I say this operation shouldn’t even be allowed to produce donairs. They had the audacity to wrap it up with the brittle equivalent of a taco shell. When I eat donairs I expect a PITA! Not a taco shell. This place ruined donairs for me.
Sauce? More like an accumulation of white bland fluid at the bottom. An absolute heterogenous mixture of failure.

That being said, the staff was very friendly.

Sorry, I don’t like to leave a bad review cause everybody deserves a fair chance. But after having pizza from this place many times it now went under new ownership and the pizza is not made with passion anymore. In fact, it looks like they don’t care at all. The dough was extremely soggy it tasted like a full can of sauce with hardly any toppings. You cannot just increase the price and put on less just to make profit.

3 of the last 4 times I’ve been to Casa de Mario’s they have put olives on my pizza. Every time I call I specify ‘no olives’ repeatedly, this last time the girl even repeated it back to me on the phone! However when we went to pick up the order she claimed I didn’t say anything about olives. Didn’t even apologize to us. Worst customer service. Not worth the money.
