Worst quiche and pastry I’ve had in a long time. Great location though for the art gallery…

Their croissant was rather disappointing. It was not buttery and a bit too salty. The colour was light. Could have baked for longer.

Staff are friendly and environment is very good I an a regular customer highly recommended to visit Faubourg

Very cute cafe right in the heart of Vancouver. We were strolling after shopping and decided to have something to cool off. They have very delicious homemade strawberry lemonade and cake mini trio was just soooo cute not to take it. I highly recommend this cafe. We had amazing table outside to enjoy beautiful day.

Coffee's good. The sign is really hard to read, so if you're looking for this one in particular, it's the one between bellagio and artigiano. You're welcome

Decent americano, almond croissant with honey in the outside and very little filling. Quiche was ok but needed seasonings.

A small French cafe with decent croissants, a small selection of French desserts and sandwiches and good coffee. Location is OK. Not the prettiest but outdoor seating is nice.

We came last year the first time and enjoyed that visit. This visit was a bit of a let down.

Had the lemon tart as well as the caramel tart. Sorry don’t remember the full name. The pastry dough in each one was just so hard and compressed. The lemon was passable and the caramel one was good.

We had 2 smoothies not worth the money and the quality not in keeping with a concept at this level.

What stood out more were more management issues. The cash person hastily trying to find cutlery and drying it out of the 14 pieces he had in the little tray. Drinks took a long time. Tables were dirty and stayed that way for a while.

Light bulbs were all at different wattages so it looks odd and not at all what you expect from the other fauborg locations (Sorry I notice things like this)

4.5 - A cozy little French Cafe with a great selection of fresh and creatively made pastries and sandwiches. We come here quite a bit. Our usuals are the double chocolate pistachio croissant and the vegetarian spinach and feta croissant and we love them both.

Their Americanos could be slightly better, but that's because I tend to like my coffee quite strong, so usually I get my Americano with an extra shot of espresso, I find the single to be a little watery for me.

The atmosphere and environment is really lovely and tastefully decorated and all the windows gives you a cozy place to sit, observe and just Be. I find the staff varies, as sometimes when we walk in there's a warm and attentive friendly greeting and sometimes there isn't.

There's also a great space outside to sit if you enjoy a nice chilly morning with your coffee cup and pastry watching the locals walk by:)

It’s 2022 but there’s no vegan options except a salad, not accommodating to people with various dietary restrictions sadly.

Incredible! Desserts are amazing! You can tell the detail and time spent on each of them.
Customer service was great. Happy smiles and an easy check out. 10/10!

If you want to break a tooth eating a Really hard baguette. Then order the Cajun chicken sandwich.

I’m usually always in for their chicken cajun sandwich but not today! Was so dry, tasted like those chickens they serve on airplanes!

Ordered a cake here for the first time and needed it very soon! I called and was helped by the staff who were very kind and helpful. Picked up my cake the next day and everyone was so friendly and again helpful. The cake was beautiful, delicious and exactly as described! I will definitely be back:)

I went there today after work around 4: 30pm and decided to treat myself for a ham and cheese croissant. Only one left on the display and I asked the cashier to warm it up for me. I tried croissants at many difference place and for me this is one of the worst. Texture wise was very poor, looked like store bought croissant. Very crumbly however it has the very generous fillings with cheese inside but for me it was way too overpowering. A bit disappointed and I don’t think am coming back anytime soon.

Very delicious and reasonably priced. We had a great breakfast here. They are the friendliest people and very helpful in finding something you’ll enjoy. The place is clean, nicely decorated, and very tasty.

Was walking by and spotted this cafe. Wanted to just take a quick look around and leave. The display case smelled amazing and the interior looked so cute and I couldn't leave without trying something, so I got one of their sandwiches with a traditional baguette. I'm glad I stayed, because the sandwich was delicious. The sandwich was generously filled with fresh ingredients. The freshly toasted baguette was amazing. And with a nice cup of tea, I was in bliss.

What an over-priced, over-rates tourist trap! This tiny tiny mediocre quiche is almost $12 after tax and tip.

Had a delicious lunch! You can choose between four sorts of bread and different dressings. They make it fresh for you and toast it.
They also have good and decent coffee and a large indoor seating area.

Very cute cafe across the Vancouver Art Gallery. I had the latte with soy milk which was incredible. Would for sure come again.

Great authentic French pastries and chocolate. Big selection of deserts, breads, drinks, and sandwiches. Staff are very kind and will recommend different things for you. Clean facilities and washroom, and it’s great that they also have outdoor seating so you can enjoy the beautiful weather.

Visited Faubourg today and was very disappointed by the food. There was a French fella who helped me and he was really nice and friendly, which is why I went 3 stars. The quality of the food was really low compared to other bakeries in Vancouver.

Yesterday I had breakfast at Faubourg for the first time, and the experience was amazing. It is the perfect site to take a break and disconnect while drinking a good tea and eatting a good French 'palmier'. All staff was helpfull (too many delicious options, very difficult to make a decision!), and very nice, specially the cashier. The food and teas are awesome. I will definitely repeat!

Staff we got was rude AF. We went june 6 at 11: 40 AM. This was my first time coming here and I had to see how to order. She was rushing me through the whole process even though there was NO ONE ELSE IN LINE. Kept asking me what I wanted for filling when I was trying to read the sign. Then what dressing like 3 times. I even told her I was trying to decide! Then she looked annoyed.

Will never come back again.

Excellent food and amazing service! The croissants and macarons were outstanding - this bakery had some of the best baked goods we've had in a long time. Definitely will return for more tasty goods.

Delicious food, definitely recommend any of their super light airy pastries! Staff never fails to make me feel welcomed and appreciated.

These people are always great. We had pain au Chocolat, which we had tried at the competition yesterday. Here they are fresh light and flakey. Not too much chocolate, but not to little. WOW! And good service, lots of staff, and they all appeared covid conscious.
Stop in and support this wonderful Cafe so they can be here for us in the future.

Really good French patisserie, friendly service, clean environment. With a cup of strong coffee, their pastries make a day go by easier.

We went 7: 30am to get fresh croissant, thinking if this is proper bakery, they will have croissant freshly made. Well they were definitely not. I guess this shop gets good reviews because the overall bakery standards in Vancouver are pretty low. This type of croissant, even when it's fresh, can probably only survive in a non-picky English neighbourhood in Montreal, definitely not a remote chance in France. The only bonus is that at least they open somewhat early compared to other so-called bakeries nearby.

Absolutely fabulous pastries! The sandwiches and crepes are very good as well. I found my crepe a little to heavy on cream cheese but I will not short stars based on that cause I can reduce it and that's my personal preference. I do wish the sandwiches were a little more customizable and or had more options but again I get the reasons behind it and there is certainly no flaw in what they serve. Service is friendly and quick. I will be back as often as possible and I recommend to everyone that will listen.

Faubourg offers fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented French-inspired desserts. Excellent choice for sweet tooth and macaron lovers. Recommended.

Nous avons acheté une Galette des Rois, et elle était très bonne. J'ai commandé la veille pour le lendemain par téléphone. Je devais récupérer la Galette vers 5: 30pm après le ski. Du fait du monde dans la station et du traffic sur la route, nous sommes arrivés en retard. La serveuse (Money?) m'a donné son numéro personnel et m'a attendu jusqu'à 6: 13pm pour me donner la Galette, alors que le magasin avait fermé à 6pm. Super gentil!

I came here with my husband and had croissants and coffee. I also bought a couple of macarons to take home for my daughter. The croissants and coffee were exceptional and I was given a small loaf of bread to try at home. Environment very Parisian, just a wonderful place to transport one to Paris!

Extra mile customer service. Enjoyed the coffee and the food in a beautiful environment of the cafe. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. ️

I’ve tried the chocolatine (pain au chocolat) and canelé. Both average. Canelé was way too hard, chocolatine tasted like it was a bit old (too hard and dry).

More than 8$ for both. Wasn’t worth the value.

I know much better french bakeries fortunately, with products that tastes like in France) (I used to live there for a while)

I love this cafe! They have the yummiest sandwich, the veggie caprese one:) Good prices and open early. The earl grey macroons are the best I have had in the city!

Excellent choice for a croissant and coffee. The row of shiny baked sweets will make you drool and discard your diet.

Good sandwiches and macarons but I had a terrible London Fog there for lunch once and when I brought it back, the server said they can’t make another one and that I would need to purchase a new one.

A terrific coffee and pastry shop downtown. Coming to Vancouver on business a lot this place is unique and I really enjoy that. I highly recommend people look for this place and try it. Especially if in Vancouver on business or leisure travel. The quality of their mochas, lattes, and pastries is top notch.

It used to be better. Seems like the quality of the pastries has gone down. Still better than most coffee shops

Coffee was great. Friendly environment. Newspaper and magazines available. They serve pastries and some sandwiches for food selection.

Food is very good, albeit a little pricey. I did however have an experience with the barista working on Nov 23,2019 that candidly should not be working in the service industry. Pur plainly, she was rude!

It ain't Paris but it still works. Nice place to catch up with old friends. Decent coffee, very good pastries, comfortable decor, welcoming staff.

Macaroons is just ok, small size and expensive. You can find better taste and bigger size else where. Environment is good.

Nice cafe in the heart of the city. Great place for desserts and lighter foods. It has a nice atmosphere and patio.

This is a very busy cafe and they have pastries and cakes. If you do not want these you can also have different baguettes. Try the Prosciutto and brie baguette as it is delicious and fresh.
There was a queue right back to the door but you did get served quite quick and did not have to wait too long, maybe under 2 minutes. You can have your meal indoors or if you like can have it outdoors to enjoy the fresh air.

I came here specifically to buy the macarons and spent $20 for 9 macarons that were hard and stale. Very disappointed. The delicious latte earned back 2 stars though.

Very French-y place.

Pros: Beautiful design, awesome London Fog - I haven't tried their espresso yet, the best cake I've ever tried (see photo below). Another pro is tge location.

Cons: may be a bit noisy and busy.

Wow! What a perfect cafe spot for everyone. I so so love the pieces of bread, soups, and the vibe. This is actually my favorite cafe spot. The place and the food were so amazing. I can't wait to taste it again. I wanted to taste it every day.

When tasting their coffee, I was like I am in heaven. Once you taste it, I am pretty sure you always want it forever. I would recommend this to everyone who is wishing for a creamy and delicious coffee especially their foods. There so many varieties of foods that you should make a choice and all of it are so good. It is a very incredible experience.

I love the pastries, soups, and the vibe. It’s a good place for small gatherings, casual meetings and having dates. The sandwiches are good but not filling that much. What I don’t like is the prices!

Overall atmosphere is very nice but the food is not the best, coffee is a bit watered-down. Just personal opinion the macarons are at least 3 days old, texture is not what it is suppose to be. Recommend Thierry more.

Faubourg is my favourite dessert place downtown Vancouver. It's so cute, it's close to transit & they have a good variety of delicious snacks! My favourites are the green tea pastry and the lemon tart (so tangy!)

Holy.these are some delicious croissants - I honestly wouldn't be able to stop myself from eating them. Only problem is that the pricing won't allow me to eat them non-stop:)

Good coffee. The vibe is alright. The staff was confused and tried to give us a wrong coffee until we insisted on her to check the receipt.
