I think about the Duck Wings often… haha. Great place for eats and drinks. Great to go with friends - booth or bar anywhere is a great spot to sit! Pizza with the pepper oil also yum!

I absolutely LOVED this cute Italian restaurant! My friend and I were looking for something to split (we weren’t too hungry) and this pizza was perfect. We both got the sweet pear cider (“Happy Meridale”), this pepperoni pizza, the panna cotta, & the cheesecake. Everything was literally AMAZING. Presentation, taste, and price were all 5/5. It seems like a super fancy restaurant, but my friend and I weren’t kicked out for wearing our hoodies and jeans While the lighting was a super dim, it was still an amazing experience and I will certainly be back! We also had a really nice waitress

Hailey our sever made it a really special night for us, to the point we didn’t want to leave when the meal was over. Her level of servitude is leaps and bounds above what’s become the norm in Victoria. She was fun to chat with and had us laughing every time she came to check on us.

Quick service on a Wednesday night during happy hour. Our server was attentive and friendly. The warm olives and caprese salad were delicious; however, the margarita pizza was a little bland in flavor but the crust was nice and crunchy. I would visit again but would plan to try a different pizza.

This is my favorite restaurant in Victoria, the service is great and the guys who work there are really polite. Also The design is really cute….

Not just the worst Italian meal ever, but easily one of the worst meals I've ever endured. From the beginning, the red headed hostess with small tattoo on her right arm clearly didn't want to be there. That's fine, these moments happen to all of us, were it not for her utterly pathetic, nose-in-the-air attitude. The only good part of this experience was our waitress. I tipped her 25% as I felt sorry for her that she had to shlep such horrific food around-and she was incredibly courteous. Clearly experienced. Now, the food: Meatballs were part super hot, part super cold and partly burned. Usually means there's a microwave involved (we were told there is no microwave on the premises, which makes it all together worse). The butternut squash pasta was gritty and the actual pasta rubbery. Entirely inedible. Worst of all was the tartufo/mushroom pizza. Crust was like cardboard, totally flavorless and the sauce was lukewarm and awful. This didn't happen overnight. Someone doesn't care-at all, and this is the evolution of that indifference. The 'manager' came over after removing two of three offending items from the bill and giggled while saying how sorry she was that the meal was unacceptable. We were gobsmacked. Great location and nice bar, if all you want to do is drink. The food is astoundingly bad. Stunningly bad. Stay away.

What a wonderful evening we had here tonight! Zach was our server. He is fantastic. Very attentive. We had the meatballs for a started. They are to die for. One if my favorite places in Victoria to enjoy a glasd of wine with their amazing cheesecake! My mother was visiting from New Brunswick. She commented on the wonderful atmosphere and amazing Italian food!

Excellent food! The portions were just perfect. The food was delicious and the ambience was particularly lovely for dinner on the last day of vacation!

The food was good but our drinks came in very dirty glasses. I didn’t notice until after I drank out of mind that it had pink lipstick all over it that wasn’t mine. Gross especially with Covid.

Busy night, no reservations but didn't have to wait too long in line, good food and service. Will go again.

Service was very odd, checked on repeatedly by two different servers who very obviously weren't communicating, and while the food was decent, it wasn't great. Drinks were poopa stinka though. Just dog water drinks.

I had a pretty great experience here on a night out with my colleagues from work.

The food was great and came out in good time. It was the Thursday night before the long weekend so it was pretty busy but we didn't wait more than 15 minutes for any of our meals.

I had the chicken parmesan and I have zero regrets. It was a decent sized portion with very pleasing and balanced flavors. The temperature was also perfect; hot but not scalding. Their pizza was also pretty good. Great thin crust, not too greasy. I felt like they could have increased the quantity of toppings though and made the crust to toppings ratio even better.

The wine selection was awesome and the servers were a pleasure to deal with. Attentive and prompt but not hovering.

Would definitely recommend for a great Italian dining experience.

Scallop & prawn linguine was salty and dry with barely any sauce. Did not enjoy it.

The food was great and the service was excellent. The Brussel sprouts were a real highlight. All 4 of us enjoyed our entrees and some great desserts.

Very disappointed with food this time. Last couple times have been not great but keep giving another chance. Mussels not available again and not informed when seated again! Not the first time.
Ordered pizza because wood fired and crust under cooked.
Restaurant was extremely hot and not any cooler on patio.
Final straw was when garbage was brought through restaurant to the front door to be emptied while we were dining.
This restaurant use to be great food. New owners? Will not be going there ever again.
Also.just realized that while we were there it was happy hour and was not informed by menus, signs or waitress.

Excellent customer service and fantastic food!
We were a group of 11 out for a family celebration. Because they were closed for a couple of nights for staff rest. I reached out via Facebook messenger to request a reservation in the private dining room the following night when open. They were responsive to the request - I was afraid it would have been missed since the reservation wasn’t being made with a live person, but there was excellent communication and confirmation. When we arrived for dinner, we had attentive service and yet we were not rushed. The dishes we ordered all arrived beautifully presented, hot, and flavourful. I need to come back and try the Ravioli and so many other dishes. It was a great night out. Great location and fantastic staff.

Really hit the spot at the bar after a sunset whale watching evening. Friendly service, great pizza and good beer. Reasonably lively for a Friday but not manic. Service knew what they were doing so the place ran smoothly.

I am very sorry for my behavior. I left the house without proper covid 19 vaccination records. And became angry when the rules everyone follows were applied to me. I had no reason to be angry other than lack of understanding

Went for Victoria Dine around, they don't currently take reservations and we had a long wait (which we were prepared for) as it was primetime on the weekend. The hostess was absolutely amazing and provided accurate time and when we got called back for our table we were seated right away on the outside patio.

The waitress took our order and some of the items we wanted were not available, but we got great suggestions from the waitress. The food came quickly, portion sizes were great and everything tasted fresh. The arancini was a sizeable portion and would be a great appetizer to share, and the tiramisu (on the regular menu) is a must for dessert, it is super luxe and rich.

Would definitely recommend Fiamo for their great service and delicious food.

Lovely staff members, great food and really delicious drinks. I don't normally like shafts and their staff member Jace was nice enough to make me an earl grey shaft which was fabulous. Him and their front of house staff Téa (?) made for an amazing experience and went out of their way to make our night great. I would highly recommend coming by and trying out their food.

Hailey is an absolute vibe I’m still here but she’s so wonderful I had to leave a review before I even left the place because she’s that good. I love her. So kind, so fun, such a good server. As a server I know a good server when I have one and Hailey is an excellent server. Give her a raise. Thank you

Service was great. Bartender was on it all night. Drinks were good as was the beef carpaccio. Pizza and pasta were severely disappointing and small for the price. One at been clearly roasting under the heat lamp for too long. But all and all they weren't any good. Was really wanting to come here and won't be back anytime soon.

Fabulous restaurant. Excellent, friendly service. Menu had good selection and was reasonably priced. We had appitzers, main course and dessert; all delicious. Great ambiance.

Bad communication

As a server myself I can understand the stress of running a busy section. However, despite this, our experience last night was extremely poor. The entire time we felt like we weren't wanted there. A party of 8 that was sat after us received service and drinks before us. We sat for 20 minutes without hearing a greeting from any server or any acknowledgement that we existed except to be asked if we could give up half our table for the party of 8. We walked out.
Giving one star because the lights outside were nice and the menu looked good.

Came here on a Saturday night and waited 45 mins. Service was good, however the pizza was pretty disappointing. The pizza was super soggy and oily. The pasta and beef carpaccio was only okay. Nothing special.

Great friendly service, delicious food and a perfect little view of the sunset to accompany our dinner! We enjoyed our meal immensely. Plus the wine isn't horrendously marked up!

We stumbled upon fiamo accidentally because the restaurant we were gonna go to was at full capacity when we got there. But have to say, it was well worth it! Super fun ambiance, we had the most kindest hostess, she was amazing, and the food OMG the meatballs were divine. We also got the Crab pasta and the roast chicken pasta, I liked the Crab one better out of those two, but both were very good and BIG portions! We even took half of it home. Check them out folks, It's well worth it!

Really enjoyed my Negroni and our Brussels sprout appetizer, and the service was stellar. However, the pizzas my partner and I shared were really disappointing - the crust was like cardboard! - and my sisters sweet potato gnocchi was inedible. The server was sweet and took the gnocchi off our bill, which was appreciated; but it'd be better just to serve good food to begin with!

Pasta is so divine, I always get whatever type of pasta they have w/ leek, mushrooms, and cream sauce. Portion size is great, I usually have leftovers and am always super full. Drinks tend to be a tad watered down it seems. Staff are super friendly and the heated patio is super great. Highly recommend, it’s my main Italian place in Vic

Fiamo is fire. The food is great, the atmosphere is impeccable, and the staff are consistently amazing!

Definitely one of the worst meals I've had. The lamb we fatty and not seasoned or prepared before hand, just cooked and slapped on the plate. Everything else mediocre. I will however say that the charcuterie board was fantastic.

Very cool decor inside the restaurant! We had a pepperoni pizza and pasta, both were delicious. The large size pasta is a very generous portion! Service was very pleasant and our food arrived in a timely manner.

Fiamo's Italian Kitchen is fantastic. Realy cool vibe (buzzy atmosphere, great bar tenders and friendly waiting staff), quirky decor (brick walls, huge chandelier) and AMAZING food. Portions are plentiful. There's an option to have half or full size. I was hungry so I ordered a full portion.and I was stuffed.

A happy accident that we went here tonight. Tried the half order of Spaghetti and meatballs, and they were very good. Took half of it home. My wife had the Butternut Squash Ravioli with Roasted Chicken which was delicious. The bread is amazing too. Excellent service, and I really like the ambiance here.

It was late on a Monday, so there was limited options available and I tried it for takeout. In my limited time inside it seemed to have nice decor and professional servers. However the food was Boston Pizza level mediocre. I wouldn't do takeout again, but considering the location would maybe in the future do full service dine in.

Great service, food was amazing large large portions for price. The tiramisu was the only part that we were disappointed about. It tasted like frozen tiramisu that was defrosted weird. It wasnt good. I was disappointed in the dessert. But everything else was still would come back for sure for their food and service.

Happier hour shafts are a great deal. Pizzas are top-notch, if a little pricey for the size. Not the quickest service, though.

Stay at Victory for couple days, and here is one of my favorite Italian restaurant. The special chief recommend dish are so good, the tiramisù is super awesome. Plus, the atmosphere here is so relaxing that you can stay here all night long. Totally love this place and I will definitely come back again.

I've been here a few times. The vibes, lighting, staff's energy and amazing music that plays really sets the atmosphere to this serene state of calmness. I think this is my favorite restaurant in Victoria.

Stumbled upon Fiamo by accident while looking for somewhere to celebrate my birthday. I'd meant to stop by for years, and it exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere is warm and cozy (but still chic - the chandeliers are fantastic!). All staff we encountered were genuine, friendly and super helpful. Most importantly, the food and drink were excellent. We shared a Bambino meat/cheese board, each had a pizza, and the cocktails were elegant. Will definitely return!

Great selection of home made Italian fare and the server was attentive and personal. We had the Ravioli and the Margherita pizza which did not disappoint. The clincher was the old bicycles hanging on the walls and B&W pics of past Italian racers. Fantastico.

Sure, it is on the more expensive side, but it was honestly one of the tastiest pizzas I have ever had (had the gorgonzola) and drink prices are good during happy hour. So, if you want to treat yourselves, definitely come here.

Freaking delicious food, friendly staff, and an amazing welcoming bar with prosecco on tap and a good happy hour between 3 and 6.

I really enjoyed it here. I went with my fiancé and a friend of mine after 9 PM it’s happy hour many drinks for only five dollars and they taste pretty damn good, the atmosphere is ambient but pleasant the music was good and the service was also very good. I have the calamari as a share and snack appetizer and it was totally delicious. I’ll likely be coming back to this fine little establishment

Went with a large group for a friend's birthday. Atmosphere was awesome, our waiter handled our complex orders and dozens of drink requests with ease. Great time, great food (and at a very reasonable price for the quality and quantity), & great service. Will definitely be going back.

Important highlight: THEY BRING 'FREE' BREAD TO THE TABLE WITH OLIVE OIL & BALSAMIC VINEGAR!

I had the full size tortellini fungi with cream sauce and it was 10/10. This time I went with the full size but next time I'd go with the half, especially after eating the free bread. And, for reference, I'm not a small-portion eater.

The food is very tasty very plentiful definitely value for the dollar in the picture that's a 1/2 order there was more than enough! And of course great local BC vines

I visited Victoria on a quick trip with my partner and this restaurant was the best one we tried in two days while in Victoria. Food was indeed fresh and delicious. The service was really outstanding with very polite and friendly staff. We had two pastas and the portion were good enough. I wish I could have more time to enjoy more dishes.
