I love FIG Kitsilano, it is like walking into a mini rainforest. The receptionists are very helpful, the facial massages are varied and excellent. I get the Fig Shots and stingers and hope they will bring back the vitamin IV

I have been a loyal membership customer at Formula Fig in Mount Pleasant for nearly a year, but my recent experiences have left me deeply disappointed. Despite my loyalty, I've encountered multiple issues with their services, particularly their facials. The quality has been inconsistent, and it's disheartening to receive subpar treatments after eagerly anticipating each appointment.

After enduring several disappointing sessions, I decided to reach out to the staff. Regrettably, my attempts to address the problems were met with a lackluster response. The management not only failed to reply promptly but also showed little initiative in resolving the ongoing issues. Hoping for improvement, I decided to give them another chance, only to have my appointment canceled via email merely an hour before the scheduled time.

What baffled me most was the complete disregard for my time and inconvenience. I was already parked outside the establishment when I received the cancellation email, sent just an hour before my appointment. This last-minute cancellation, combined with the absence of a sincere effort to contact me personally, left me frustrated and dissatisfied. They could have at least tried multiple avenues to reach me, considering the short notice and their 24-hour cancellation policy.

This lack of effort to mitigate the inconvenience caused further underscores their disregard for customer satisfaction. When you're paying roughly $200 for a 35-min facial, expecting consistent quality, customer appreciation, and excellent service isn’t much to ask for. Unfortunately, Formula Fig in Mount Pleasant falls short on all these fronts. As a paying customer, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect basic courtesy and customer care.

In conclusion, my experiences at Formula Fig have been far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. They should care more about quality and customer service, not just pumping out customers for money. I hope this review serves as a wakeup call for the management to reevaluate their customer service standards and prioritize the satisfaction of their loyal patrons.

Not only are the staff highly professional and knowledgeable in their craft, but also empathetic and genuinely interested in understanding your skin health concerns and goals. What a glorious experience! I opted for the Hydrate + Glow facial and the results are in the name:) I walked in after a super stressful day at work and by the time I walked out I was floating on a cloud. They use beautiful products, and the botanicals smell gorgeous. I purchased a few products that I am so excited to incorporate into my routine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

My visit to Formula Fig was wonderful from start to finish. The check in process was straightforward and the reception area was a lovely relaxing space to wait for my appointment. I had an All In Facial, which was 30 mins. My skin was glowy and clear afterwards. My technician recommended steps I should add to my skincare routine to help with the skin issues we discussed. She was extremely patient and knowledgeable. An all round excellent experience.

I was gifted my first visit to Formula Fig and what a wonderful experience! The moment you walk into the welcoming and well thought out space to the comfortable treatment rooms, you're certainly in for a treat.
I had the All-in facial and left with my skin GLOWING. Although almost all of the services are 30 mins, it doesn't feel rushed and you feel pampered during your time there. I wouldn't hesitate to return to try out some of the other treatments and I look forward to my next visit!

I have been going to Formula Fig for the past 5 months and have really been enjoying the addition to my skin care routine. I have the basic membership, rotating between the Hydrate and Glow and LED & Lymphatic Core facials which leave me feeling rejuvenated and glowing every time. My main goals were to improve hydration and release forehead muscle tension (without Botox), both of which I feel have been accomplished so far. Also want give a shout out to Stina at the mount pleasant location - she provides an amazing facial massage! Overall a great experience and a lovely way to pamper yourself.

I often reflect at the end of the year on the best investment/purchase I’ve made and in 2022 it was a Fig membership. A facial a month has not only improved my skin, but I love that it’s 30 mins of relaxation, I get to myself, in a gorgeous space.

The service is impeccable from the moment you walk through the door and all throughout your appointment. If you’re feeling chatty and want to be walked through steps of the facial that’s an option, but so is just closing your eyes and enjoying the quiet. Trust you are in good hands and the staff are prepared to answer whatever questions you might have.

I’ve recommended Fig facials to pretty much everyone I know and will continue to. A true Vancouver gem and I’m so proud to see them expanding out east to Toronto and soon LA!

Glow & hydrate facial saved my skin! Highly recommend to anyone who is struggling with dry skin

I was treated to a facial at Fig and it was my first time going here. I had heard of them before and had heard good things so I know I needed to check them out. The service upon arrival was great and there was complimentary collagen water. The space itself is beautiful and the colour scheme is very comforting and calming. I got a lift and tone facial and it was wonderful! My skin was glowing after. The woman doing my facial was wonderful and walked me through all the different things she was doing. I would definitely recommend, especially if you want a quick and relaxing little spa day.

What a lovely place! My first time at fig and cannot wait to try it again.all the facials are 30 minutes in length so you can even get a facial on your lunch break.you definitely see results right away which is great!
the chairs you sit in during the session were comfortable however the neck part was a little uncomfortable for me.

This place always smells good, all the staff are extremely friendly and informative about the procedure, a great place to relax, and the store hours are the besssssst it’s 8am - 8pm which works especially if you’re a student or you work a 9-5. I got a monthly membership here and it’s worth it! I get fig shots too whenever I have exams and I need extra energy. Love love love Fig!

This place is wonderful, a small haven and retreat, perfect for taking a moment for self care. The treatments are 5*. I especially love it when I get to see Yvonne at Main St, she always keeps the guests at the center of the experience, has great skin education tips and (bonus!) has a wicked sense of humor as well. I'll mention the bathroom too, make sure to visit it after your facial!

Came to this location for a collagen + texture facial on my birthday (been to the kits locations before, but decided to try the main st location)

i have always had positive interactions with fig, but i felt my facial was rushed and my specialist was inattentive.i was wearing a bit of makeup when i came in and requested to remove it, but when i came out of the facial, i could still see mascara and makeup residue.not sure how this is possible after a facial.my previous skin specialists at fig were attentive, informative and open to answer questions.i did not have that experience at all - my skin questions were dismissed and deemed “too vague”. When you pay nearly $200 for a facial, you expect better service and quality of service.

Highly recommend their Hydrate+Glow treatment.
Although it feels like a quick 30 min facial when compared to 60-90 min at other places, it was well worth it.
Will surely be back!

I had Julia and she was kind, warm, optimistic, compassionate and all around amazing.

It was a great first experience.

Had a lovely first time experience here. I treated myself to the collagen + texture facial and it was so relaxing. The lady who did my facial was so thorough and transparent with everything and made me feel at ease and so relaxed during my time there.

My skin was left glowing after, I even got compliments about it throughout the day.

I came in for my first facial. The space was lovely and calmly. The girls at front were extremely nice and welcoming. Sukhmin did my facial. She explained in detail what she was doing step by step. I felt so relaxed at the end of the facial! I will be coming back for sure!

I have been coming to Fig for a few years, but I recently had a couple facials with Rayna and I just want to say how amazing my experiences were from the get go. I had an incredibly anxious morning leading up to my first facial, and as soon as I entered Fig Main - I was greeted in such a lovely and calming manner by the staff at the front and could feel my morning just ease away. My facial with Rayna was easily one of the best I have had since my first facial in 2019. She was incredibly thorough, had a very calm and relaxing presence and the Gua Sha massage and the face massage that followed was perfection. Then a couple weeks later I had a Hydrate and Glow with her and she remembered me and just picked up where we left off from the previous time. It made me feel really special and cared for. Seriously, such amazing service every time I walk through those doors. Thank you!

Aside from it being a beautifully designed space, the facial was so relaxing, product offerings are really good & they stock a lot of Canadian brands.

I've been a "member" at Formula Fig for a few months now and it's one of the best parts of my month - all of the "Skin Educators" are professional and really knowledgeable and share info about your skin without any judgment. My most recent visit was for a Collagen & Texture facial with Wenlan, and it was my best facial by far - Wenlan was totally focused on making me feel relaxed and giving me a facial that was in depth, educational, and helped me completely disconnect from the outside world for that 30 minutes.

My sisters and I have made it a tradition to get go get facials each time it's one of our birthdays, and it's always been an amazing experience. Yvonne has done two of my services before and she is so friendly and remember all these details about our past visits, it has really made me feel special (and not some random client) when I've come in. I've been to both of the locations and am excited for them to open in Toronto as I keep telling my friend's and family member back there that they need to check it out.

Such great personalized service here! I’ve had several different people for facials and they are all amazing. Have just done the “LED and Gua Sha”and the “Hydrate and Glow”and I highly recommend, I have really sensitive skin and I’ve had no reactions or anything. They also will personalize the products based on your concerns/skin type.

If there's anyone you must go and see here on Main Street, it's Yvonne! I don't trust many people with my skin or face but Yvonne is my go to I will come back again and again for her. Thank you again for my microdermabrasion and hydrating facial Yvonne, I feel a million bucks!

Really knowledgeable staff, but I disliked how much they tried to upsell me on various “extras. ” I know it’s the name of the game for places like this, but at a certain point if I keep saying “no, I’m not interested, ” please stop asking. There are also now quite a few new facial places in the area that are catering to the upper-middle class female millennial that offer longer facials and more bang for your buck, so unless you have a specific service in mind (ie microderm, botax) that Fig specializes in, I’d try someplace else.

Can't believe I haven't visited sooner. This spot is great. The design is calming and really highlights their vibe. Julia is a real gem, and I can't wait to come back for another facial.

I have loved my fig facials on West 4th and am loving the new location on Main. Such a beautiful space with friendly staff. Fantastic products and the facials are so quick and efficient. Hard to resist! If you haven’t tried I would highly recommend a visit:).

I’ve been a member at Fig for just under a year. I sought them out for Stingers and decided to opt for the monthly facial to prevent the onset of maskne. I was so excited to hear that Fig had opened a Main St location that would be larger than their location in Kits. When I visit Fig, the services are exceptional, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is beautiful. I 10/10 would recommend Fig to anybody looking for a luxurious self-care experience.

Just when I thought the Fig experience couldn't get any better. I have been a longtime fan of the West 4th location, but having a closer option on Main Street has been amazing. The staff are so, so helpful and make it a delight to visit. Love the friendly, knowledgable, and zero-pressure vibe. I usually opt for the All-In facial and it never disappoints. Doesn't hurt that the space design and decor is gorgeous.

This is my first time visiting Fig Face (Main St.) and the first time having vitamin injections. The whole experience was outstanding. The staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable, the space is gorgeous and I felt comfortable the entire time. Annie took the time to answer all my questions. I've visited many doctors and naturopaths over the years and this is the first time I actually felt listened to. She made sure to pick the right vitamin injections based on my concerns and lifestyle. (I got the Adrenal & Glow injection) I felt the difference the same day. I'm more awake, my brain fog has disappeared and after the first night I finally felt rested after years of feeling fatigued. I highly recommend visiting Fig, and I'll definitely be back!
