Avoid this place I’m pretty sure there reviews that are good are mostly from people they know. I chose a different law firm because Anthony who is the most rudest lawyer ever he expects you to “know” everything and when u ask him to explain he becomes defensive avoid him for your own well being. Not mention his retainer expires within less than a year haha. He had done nothing for me but send one email and then when my case started but wasn’t going to court or anything he asked me for 10k more I went to a new law firm and they said why is he charging that much and for what the new lawyers charged me 3500 and got everything done much faster not to mention they were more empathetic an this boy just will try to scare u and tell ur going to go to jail and keep you scared and stressed my lawyers kept me reassured and comforted me throughout my process.

Attorney West Pryde was responsible and patient with my traffic case. I got a very satisfactory result which was way better than I expected. No need to say anything more, if you have the same nuisance, concerns, don't worry, just please feel free to leave it to them.

Mike Scott was able to help me with two tickets from the Motor Vehicle Act, the outcome was continueing with a clear driving record.
I am very grateful, and although I hope I don’t, if I ever need to use a traffic lawyer again he will be my first call.

I share my experience about this devil law firm, you will find helpful and avoid losing money for nothing.

After paying them total of 30 000 (all my saving and credit cards, still owes them 25 000 if i continueshave them represent me) I decided to find another lawer.

They returned 9800 and took 21000. Yes, 21 000 Canadian dollas, for total 6 or 7 times they talked to me on the phone and in person in there office (even the first call, nothing less than 2000 dollars per hour)

i rather lost 21000 than having them continue work on my case.

I decided to reserve Filkow law because I talked to Mr Anthony Robinson as I can see how aggressive he was, it would be good for my case. But after I get to study the material and find out there are too many illegal issues with the arrest and proceed to press the charges again me, I started to bring up questions with Anthony, he did not even know or just simple ignore about these matter.

The one that actually work on my case is Mr West Pride (the first time I come to office, he seat and report for Anthony). At first I thought he doesn't recognize the thing that I can use from the material, later I find out he knew.

He told me that I can't not get a copy of the material from the Crown and take it out of their office (they charged 5500 to get this material packet for me),

I can only read and watch video in their office. (they ended up billed me no less than 2000 per hour for these time that I come to their office to read and watch)
And they gave me 2 pages said These is all (I later find out the material packet are over 200 pages) they even tried to make it so blurry so I can't read.

The most scary thing about this is after I read and watch video West Pride would talked to me ask me what I think (what wrong about the statement)
The next time I come to there office to read and watch the material. It changed (in a way that it become more convincing to convicted me, everything That I told West Pride, now can no longer used.)

I ended up contact the court myself and got I set of the material packet for myself for free and accurate. And find out the material packet that filkow law lets me read was modified. Now Mr West Pride changed his attitude toward me. He would scream and yell (I'm a client) and tried to make me admitting that I did something illigal? After That I left.

Incompetent, unorganized. Case was thrown out because they were not able to look after a little administrative paperwork. They forgot to have me sign the paperwork saying they were representing me. Case was thrown out due to me not "showing up to court" when they were paid to go for me. They then Informed me of what happened, all they said was "sorry". Took my money and ran. Didn't offer any compensation for their blatant mistake. I'd keep your money and find someone else.

Michael Scott is really efficient, personable when I first met him, and he really follows up and helped me resolve my driving dispute. I'm really glad to have went through and worked with him and his team. Because of him, I was able to get through my driving exam with no worries and anxiety being reassured that all I needed to do was pass my test.

Kevin and his team were fantastic. I had gotten in an acccident with a DUI and driving iwthout a license. My situation was quite dire to say the least. Not only was I in breach of my insurance contract, i was possibly facing criminal charges. Kevin, Jaqueline and Ermina were not only able to fight off my DUI charge, they talked down my driving while prohibited infraction and not only figured out a way to save my insurance, but also was able to get money from ICBC form my totalled car. My personal experience with Filkow Law and the entire staff over the last 10 years has been exceptional and continues to be for Motor Vehicle Act violations. I am a long time client of this firm and have had some critical moments in my young life and adult hood that could have put myself seriously behind in the game of life. We all make mistakes in life but using Filkow Law firm helped build an accurate and appropriate defense on my behalf. When ever talking with any staff member it was an enjoyable experience and took what I had to say at full value.

To sum it all up, very strong presence in court, hard working and dedicated to there clients, truthful about fees and upfront about court costs. The law firm did not provide any professional view on my case and according to their points of view my chances of winning my appeal are very low. But finally I represented myself and succeeded in my appeal by making statements prepared by myself. Another thing is the law student initial thought was conveying the views of the lawyers by telephone. This is so ridiculous and non professional! He wrote an email to me providing written version of the statement after I requested, although the views are
not useful for me.

Kevin is by far the best lawyer you could ever ask for. He has helped me through thick and thin from dropping charges, driving offence issues and more. He always takes his time to see me even though he’s super busy. We’ve become friends and that’s something you don’t get from your regular lawyers.
