Terrible terrible cut. Always trust the reviews, always trust the horror stories. Not my first bad experience at first choice but will be my last! Check out for yourself, photo attached. Not to mention they charged $30 and I luckily had the cut corrected at a much more professional salon for $40. I did reach out to the manager at First Choice and she was initially apologetic on the phone, asking me to come in so she could take photos to use for teaching purposes and get a refund… I agreed out of the goodness of my heart as I’m always up for people to learn from mistakes. I arrived and sat in the front area for 30 minutes before she even came up to see me…. Never again.

Went to get my sons back to school haircut and a trim for myself. It was the worst hack job on my son's hair I have ever seen. I'm not overly picky but for my kid to point it out and be embarrassed to walk around it had to be bad. I tried to point out the poor blending and the hair sticking up (she claimed was a cowlick that he's never had before) but then I got worried as it got worse as she "blended" it more.
I paid and left. Went to another place that got me in in 30min and they fixed him right up.
Will contact the manager tomorrow.

I got a disappointing haircut from Cobia last year and decided it was best to try somewhere new and i got exactly what i was looking for with amazing customer service from Chloe

The manager here is very professional and she entertained my ridiculous questions about why it's called a Caesar cut and asking about the correlation to a Caesar drink or salad. Will definitely get my hair cut here again. Unless Lightsabers become real, then I'd just use that for like, everything.

I took my elderly mother to get a haircut. I was told 15 to 30 mins. I told the girl that we would wait in our car she said ok. My mom went in 14 minutes and was told that she would have to wait 30 to 60 more minutes. There was 3 stylists and 2 people getting cuts. We did not stay we left and went to a different salon and got right in and was treated way better.

Had to get my haircut fixed.they did well on my sons haircut though.

We were 3 minutes late for our son’s appointment and the stylist wanted to postpone our appointment.
Three minutes late and you want to lose a client over that? Very disappointed in their decision. Bad business practice. Three minutes could have been made up easily. Rude! The stylist in particular was Savannah, whom has always done a good job but again, not impressed.

The young lady that did my hair was not very OCD & I had to point out multiple times spots where she had left hair long, even after I had showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted done before we started. She was very friendly but I think a bit more training may be necessary.

Very nice cut. Stylist checks to make sure you got what you asked for, before you get out of their chair.

Love going here. Ariel is great and always does an awesome job on my hair. I just wish you could get opened up again.

Amazing customer service. I went to them in concern to a terrible haircut I got that day at a different place to see if they could clean it up. They cleaned my hair up free of charge and gave me a free haircut voucher for next time I come back to get it fixed further. They completely made my day and I’m so grateful to whoever the kind lady was that helped me out. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place where they genuinely care about their customers and quality of haircut.

If i could give zero stars I absolutely would. I understand that compant policy is not to book hair cuts but i live over an hour from this loction and even called in the morning to try and attend the only hairdresser who can do the style id like (I have been told this by the other hairdressers at the location). I have now attended this location on 2 occasions being told they couldn't do the cut i wanted because the only person qualified is now all of a sudden booked for multiple hours. When asked to speak with me (as she is the assistant manager) i was brushed off. This was after trying to leave and having the lady at the till ask me to stay to speak to the her in the first place. I have used this company for quite sometime throughout muntipul cities and have never had an experience like this. They have always been respectful and helpful in locations such as the 2 in penticton and the multiple i have been into in kelowna and Vancouver. Im just very very dissappointed with the over all experience.

Friendly people, most of them has good skills. I have been with them a long time now. Was pleased always except for once or twice.

Would never go back, it may be the year of the pig but that doesn't mean I should get butchered.

Was a little scared at first as a 20 something year old guy coming in here, as the clientele appears to be 90% post retirees, and moms with little kids, but my hairdresser did a solid job. As long as you make it super clear what you want done they seem to be able to get the task done.

Wait was 25 mins or so, but for a walk-in only place, i'd say that's pretty darn fast.

Price was also very cheap.

Budget haircuts. Great for kids and short hair cuts which grow out so quickly! First come, first serve. Licensed, friendly staff.

Have been there 3 times, each time with a different hair stylist but have gotten good, overall results. To get the best cut, be specific. Remember which clipper attachment you like. 1 is shortest and 6 or 8 is the longest. Tell the stylist exactly where you want the sideburns, etc. Don"t be shy to tell them to leave something longer or make shorter. If a lot of adjustments, be sure to tip a little more for the trouble. Then remember that for next time.
