Great place for affordable haircuts. They always do a good job and it's the only place my kids want to go. Tried getting their haircuts in Chilliwack they were not impressed. Got to be on the North Shore

Bad service; wasting money
Yesterday I went there for cutting my hair, they cut only some hair from my head ; did not cut the back side
Now everyone is asking is that done by my self!
They charge me above 25$ I don’t know why!
Totally disappointed
I don’t prefer this shop to any one
It’s better to go with some where else

I had my hair bleached today and I cannot say enough good things about the stylist. I cant remember her name unfortunately but shes amazing. She skillfully dyed my hair from red to blonde and did it all with a smile and a very friendly attitude. I'll definitely be coming back to this location

If you know that you are going to be closed, don't post on your website that "Good Friday may affect hours" If someone travels a distance to come to your store, they need to know if they can access you! You are no longer my nor my families First Choice!

Terrible haircut.as well i tried booking for a colour which they advertised that they could do, and refused to let me, giving an excuse that the staff working needed to be available for haircuts not colours.

I walked in put my name on list and returned at my convenience. Because I had previously registered I was next on the list. No waiting which was great. The service was excellent. I was quite surprised at the cost I hadn't been in since last year and I paid around $16. My visit this time cost $23 it was still worth it and I highly recommend first choice

I went in there for a haircut, and I told the lady that I part the hair to the left… she butcher my hair…she shaved my hair on one side shorter then the other… I will never be back…. And I wanted no side burners either… she didn’t even thin it out …. As I asked to… very disappointed. She didn’t even put a mirror afterwards to show me the haircut ….

Went into the first choice hair cutters on the north shore, in Kamloops. The girl doing my hair started giving me aditude about apparently me having nits, but I have done everything in my power to get rid of them. When I said something about that, she yelled so the whole store could hear that I had nits, and apparently I gave her aditude. I only gave her aditude after she was belittling and embarrassing me, in front of everyone in the store. I wont even THINK about coming back EVER, and I suggest you don't go either! This has been the worst experience I've ever had. I've even gone to get my hair done by the trainees at norkam and they have way more professional aditude then the lady that yelled at me.

This is my place to get my hair cut. Always friendly and professional staff. Soon as you walk in you are greeted and made an appointment, usually within a few minutes. During this pandemic I feel this is the way to go. Good haircut as they are very responsive to what you want and if anything is missed or you want to change just go back and it's taken care of. Watched the staff clean and disinfect before asking me to sit. Overall great!

Cut off lots of hair today- and it’s the most awesome haircut! There is like 1000 ways to do my hair and they all are easy but each way looks so different. I think her name was Cassandra and she was Awesome. Also In June for my Wedding I went there to get my hair styled- I got it curled and braided with beautiful waterfall braids - it was perfect, I think her name was Bella. This is the best place to go if you want to be happy when you walk out in my opinion! Plus I went at 530 after I got off work and didn’t have to leave work early! (Made an appointment)

I love going to first choice on the north shore. All the girls are friendly. It’s clean, well organized and comfortable. Thanks Cassandra for all you do for me.

I went in for a way over due haircut due to covid19 and was so looking forward to manageable hair but instead I got a total hack job. My bangs were so crooked and cut so short that I can't fix them myself until they grow out. The cut itself looks like a 6year old took scissors to my hair. I've never had such a bad cut in my whole life and I'll never go back. I could have done a better job myself and I'm I'm not a hairdresser.

Love the girls here. They always have a smile. Savannah is my absolute favorite.she knows how I like my hair and never messes up. Haven't found a hair dresser like her in a long time.

Tried new stylist for bangs and very happy. I have only one that fits my hair and Courtney is fabulous and does exactly what I ask and gives input to keep my hair happy and healthy

I had a terrible experience here. I asked for a pretty simple cut that I have had done before and explained it pretty well, but my stylist must not have understood cause she did not do what I ask and though out my hair cut didn’t ask any questions like “is this the length you want off? ” or “ is here good to cut? ”. Questions like these can really help the stylist do a good hair cut that the customer wants but my stylist did nothing. I even returned later in the day to get it cut a bit shorter cause it was just soooo bad and that didn’t even help. I am disappointed and would not recommend.

The hairdressers do a great job.very pleased with the cuts.also an excellent perm. I highly recommend them.

Cassandra is the only girl I'll ever trust with my hair. She took me from funky colour to funky colour then managed to get everything out to a cool ashy blonde. She is by far the best stylist I've ever met! I've never had any hair issues with her and everything she does comes out PERFECT in the end
