Love working with this Lender! They have a super easy and comprehensive portal that my clients love. They can see their balance, make an extra payment and add their property taxes all through the lender portal making it super easy. For my non techy clients, the lender allows me to take care of servicing, also making it easy (and quick). They've thought of everything.

As a mortgage who works with First National semi-regularly, we had a more challenging file that we had sent over to our underwriter at First National. Our clients, in the midst of purchasing their first home, faced a unique situation—a home with a suite lacking its own exterior door, which meant lenders were unable to consider the potential rental income.

However, thanks to the exceptional support and creativity of the team at First National, they were able to structure the file using a product called "purchase plus improvements. " This allowed for additional funds to be allocated to our clients, enabling them to install an exterior door after they close on the home. This enabled us to be able to utilize the potential rental income to qualify our clients for their mortgage.

Not only were they able to make this exception for us but the turn around time for approval was was amazing. We submitted the file late in the afternoon and received an approval first thing the following morning.
