We recently funded a mortgage with Fisgard. We had very tight closing dates. We received prompt responses to all our emails. A last minute change to the amount of funds being requested was taken in stride with our underwriter. It was a great experience, happy to be partnered with Fisgard.

I'm a mortgage agent, and one of the things I've learned in my experience is that buying a home sometimes doesn't go as planned. One of my clients recently experienced a set back that didn't allow them to qualify for a traditional mortgage. Short on time and traditional qualifications we had less than 10 business days to find them a mortgage. We chose Fisgard to save the day, and they did. My underwriter Chelsea, was efficient, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. She quickly review the application and issued an approval. Reviewed the documentation in a timely manner and gave updates along the way. Chelsea had a day off during the process and her coworker, Alison seamlessly filled in. In the end my clients closed on time with a reasonably priced mortgage. They were grateful and so am I for Fisgard and Chelsea's excellent product and service.

Do not deal with this company. They gave me a commitment letter and then pulled out. They wasted 5 weeks of my time and over $1300 on bogus appraisals. An appraiser that they chose. They wouldn't allow the solar panels on my roof or the cottage on property to be used in the appraisal. Probably $150,000-$200,0000 of value. They still secured $345,000 of second mortgages on 2 of my properties. I needed a $150,000 Mortgage. They agreed to $146,500 and gave me a commitment letter. Then backed out. My wife and I have excellent credit. No reason for them to back out. A commitment letter means that you have a signed agreement legal and binding. This company has no ethics or morals.
