The body language and the customer service of the girl on the customer service desk was like " You go to hell I don't care " I would better pay more money to go to some other fitness place than this where there is absolutely no sense of dealing with the customers.

Just spoke with JJ and he was very informative very caring listen to everything I said and I really really like the service that JJ provided I think he was better than a lot of the other employees I've dealt with previously.

It’s a okay gym I’d give it a 6/10 I’ve been going here for about 6 months consistently I’d give it a 8/10 if there wasn’t a equipment shortage and if it had more benches and more squat racks because its always being used and wifi if possible because it is really hard for me to not be able to call my parents phone without a SIM card and when there is no receptionist at the counter and 1 thing id add to this gym is stair masters which would bump it up to a 9/10

This is a fantastic Gym. Good service with friendly staff and super clean and comfortable gym for everyone. This is a cheaper gym but all the equipments are updated. Specially I appreciate the hard work and honesty of Mr. Jabarjung singh about his work, Calm and Soft spoken with positive attitude. Highly recommended to join this Gym

I have joined around 8-9 gyms in my life and this is probably the first gym that doesn’t even have a water dispenser in the gym whereas they have a vending machine from where you can buy water

Gym is fine but their customer service was exceptional especially Mandeep, She showed me all the Gym Machines and explained all of the services provided by gym beautifully. I really appreciate it.

The best fit4less location in GVA. Clean, organized and good machines. Goldy, a long time employee helped me with changing home gym locations when I first started coming here. All staff is really helpful

I want to cancel my membership but I need to pay for an extra month. Also, they charge for $25 whenever they like so, if you cancelling your membership they want to rip you off. Not going to be a member in fit4less again

Closed multiple times in the past week, did not inform members and is not truthful about when it will open again. Deeply unhappy with the lack of professionalism! I understand we are in difficult times but not even a simple email to let those paying to use it to know they are closed? Very inconsiderate to those who walk/bus/transit to attend. Not happy.

There equipment needs maintenance & many good ones aren't working all time. Communication is always lacking and pick up the phone as its always not answered. I went there on Sunday but it was closed even though the store hours mentioned its open till 4pm.

Went there at 2.10 pm to check their notice saying gyms will close at 4p.m due to shortage of staff. But why was the gym closed at 2pm if the notice says 4pm? And secondly why do we care about your staff shortage; you own a gym and you gotta arrange it. Planet fitness never gives such reason‍️. Worst service.

For the price the fitness center is pretty good. Staff cleans the whole facility and equipment after each workout session. The only thing that is missing is a water fountain, I believe a fitness center must have it to keep the users hydrated.

Overall, gets the job done.

Multiple paper towel dispensers are empty.

Crowded at free weights and a few machines while most other machines and space are unused.

Occasionally it's difficult to book a session.

Bench press lacks safety arms/pins.

Previous issues:

Numerous people working out with masks under their chin, not over their mouth. Staff not enforcing mask rule and sometimes are not even on the floor for long periods of time (likely in the back room).

Damaged machines (such as the rowing machine) take a long time for repairs.

Staff frequently ask people to leave before the end of their time slot.

Customer service is not great, no smile on faces, no water, no wifi ().
Staff is behaving little rude. I liked hydro bed but looks like bed covering is not changed after every use, it's not wipeable so I am concerned. One day I forget my card at home (my mistake), I had to request alot to get into gym (which I had no issues with any other gym because they can check in by entering phone number).

This gym was okay before covid.now its very very unsanitary. First off the workers dont seem to be doing anything. They dont clean or even enforce the cleaning rules. The 2 workers were just sitting at the front the entire hour and a half I was there. The paper towel dispenser was empty and then I noticed no body was cleaning their equipment and I was shocked. There was probably 15 people all crammed into the free weight section with NO physcial distanccing at all. I had to tell 3 people that you have to clean your weights when your done with them. I also ended up wiping down ALL the dumbells before I left.thats how disgusted I was. Places like this are the reason theres still 700 cases of Covid a day in Surrey alone. Workers NEED to do a better job enforcing cleaning policy and cleaning themselves during shifts.

As prabjhot said. Not 24 hrs as advertised. Apparently Anytime Fitness has been able to remain open 24/7. Also it's probably the only gym I've ever seen that doesn't sell water. No enforcement of social distancing. Limited enforcement of masks. Especially in the free weight/ resistance training areas.

I had asked for the managers couple of days after only seeing 1 staff member booked for a day shift. This location lacks professional management & proper staffing. I was dismissed & made to feel demeaned, I think her name started with an H. The manager was unwilling to help my cause & was utterly disrespectful.

Frauds. Itbis easy to join but when you try to cancel your membership they will tell you to Go online. Online will tell you to call and when you call they will tell you to walkin and process continues. This place is a scam.

I have had the worst experience with this company. I requested them to freeze my membership when covid began and before I know they started taking out the money from my account.
I have still not received any mail to confirm the safety protocol etc. That the club is doing to keep members safe.
I visited the location (80th & Scott Road, Surrey, BC) on oct 21 and spoke with a young fella who wrote my details on the communication binder and told me the manager would call me the next day but non one called. I followed up and called and was told that the manager would be back on Monday. In the mean time the company has again pulled out the funds.
I feel cheated as I would have started working out if I would have received a note mentioning the covid safety protocol but that never happened.
I am hoping club management would see this and respond.

Location posted that they open at 7am, I was there a bit before 7 and waited with the other people lining up to get in, 7am comes around and patiently waiting. 7: 15am still waiting, doors are locked, I only have a certain amount of time in the a.m. To do my routine before work so this was not acceptable. I went in to sign up for a membership (which takes a few moments online but I was in person and had mu debit card with me) and the person at the counter had no clue a one time year payment could be done. Took another 15-20 mins to sign up. Once finally in the gym, members are using machines and not wiping anything down after use, leaving things at stations (as if its still in use) and working out at other places, not social distancing, it was a hassle to do my work. By the time the gym clears out a bit and I can use machines uninterrupted I’m now being advised I have to leave because the session is done and they have to clean. The workers literally used the spray bottles and misted over everything not wiping anything down, they said I could come back in after 15 minutes but at that point my allotted exercise time was done. I got home and wrote an email for a refund as it was not the gym experience I was looking for on August 26th, its now September 8th and no reply or refund. I wrote in the same day I signed up and on the website refunds are eligible but this is extreme negligence. Steer clear as there are multiple red flags about this place, zero communication, this is unacceptable.

Price is good but you get what you pay for. They don't have a water fountain, Pre covid the gym was extremely busy. It is hard to breath in the gym because of poor air circulation. Equipment are for novice athletes. One advantage it is a 24 hour gym.

They clean after every hr. You have to book your session online. If you can't get your day and time you want. Just show up and you can usually get in because they are not at there max.

Staff is far from helpful. The facility is pretty clean. I mostly use the cardio machines all the free weights are packed with guys around it. The machines are very limited. Cardio equipment is mostly available. Benefit of 24 hrs is really nice. No fountain water was told to fill up from the washroom. So please bring your own water. Overall cheap and decent.

Perfect for money and those who gym with their friends or without trainers. No one judge. Its big and sufficient. They have almost everything of need for proper daily workout. The staff is good too. Also, this gym is always kept so hygeinic.

For the price, I'll say it is pretty good. I go there mostly around 9 pm and there is usually few people there at that time. Some days, you'll find fewer than 10 people and you can basically hop from one machine to the other without having to wait. They could do better about their frequent machine breakdowns but I'll say for the nights they are pretty good.

The guy named Kevin (works at front) is really bad at his job. He has no customer service skills, shows attitude to the customers. Fit4less has made a really bad choice hiring this guy which will effect there business. I myself saw him talking rudely to a couple of other members who were here to sign a new membership. My friend also returned back just because of him

I like this gym but this gym has poor HVAC system. The glasses are always fogy, its suffocated and smells bad when you enter. There is no proper air flow system in the gym. I always have to tell the front girls to open the doors. I couldn't do my gym yesterday because of that and left as it smell so bad. Next time the glasses get fogy, I am going to take pictures and post. This is how you are portraying your gym to outsiders with fogy glasses? I will also send a separate email to the owner so this can be addressed. This gym offers everything and at unbeatable price but we should feel comfortable while doing gym and breathe at ease than feeling suffocated. Thankyou

Most of the time there machine are broken, NO WiFi, No water fountain and they should be running the message on ALL TV and on the machine to clean the D. Machine after use your mother don't work there.

I’ve been going to this gym for about 6 months, for the time i have been here there has been high turnover of staff, In my honest opinion the amount of money they have invested in new staff (training staff, payroll.) the corporation could have hired a new manager and still have installed a water fountain with money remaining in their budget. Seems like the manager doesn’t care. Staff has always been great and nice especially old staff and Nav, Priya great service and always polite and happy to help customers. Particular staff are very consistent on putting signs on machines that are out of order as it could be high liability if they did not, also takes roughly a month to repair the machines. I hope this review is seen by corporate because all the reviews that management sees does not look at as feed back or constructive criticism as he will not respond or fix the issues!

Space is too small, overcrowded, and just the general people aren't as courteous to each other. Noticed the same machines being broken/fixed/broken/fixed so its a complete cycle. Barely any benches. Avoid going at peak time if you want a decent work out in bc a 30 minute workout will end up being 60 minutes.

One guy was so loud taking on his Bluetooth and running on threadmill. Was so distracting and irritating. Told the lady manager at 10 am 01/14. She did nothing and just walked out.
Must train your managers to address situations more impactful and tactful. Kids are hired to handle this place without any intervention training.

I have never seen a gym before without a water fountain, or water station. If you ask staff they'll tell you to go fill water out of the bathroom sink.one word.unhygienic! Is that even allowed with Fraser Health? There is also no AC, and sweaty moisture all over the windows sometimes you cant even see outside the gym, it usually stinks like BO, and its embarrassing to say you go there, but hey they have good rates. 2 stars.oh and usually equipment is broken and takes months to get fixed.

Discount membership is $185 as opposed to city gym $520 so save lots of money.gym is ok just to many cardio machines would like to see more no sitting cable machines.no wifi which is a huge bummer for me.staff seems to not be too helpful and they start cleaning when the gym opens so it’s annoying having them clean in a packed gym.the upgraded membership is useless, to pay more for massage machines and tanning that nobody uses, company made a mistake there.cant beat the price though.open 24hrs bonus

For the price you pay, you can’t complain too much about equipment not being up to date and how small it is.

Staff is friendly, when present. Management may be difficult to contact but they solve the problems within a reasonable amount of time.

They need a water fountain, people prefer bottle water over tapped water.

I would love it if they provide deodorant in their welcome bags. Some people really need it! Especially in Surrey.

Showers are meh. But it depends on your height. I’m 5’5, but I can see issues for tall people. They need to have something closer to the shower to hang your towels.

Bad experience. I have been their Black card member past 1.5 yr. This year when I went for renewal I specifically asked what are my options if i move to new rental place i was told no worries if you move you can cancel us by coming to gym with proof of new address.
My old rental place 1.5 km away but my new place is 6.8 kms away.
Now when I went to see staff in gym they told our policy is 30kms radius. And i was told that I should have read disclaimer properly. That was ridiculous as when I signed up I relied upon information given to me by the staff present.
Nevertheless, I offered take the cancellation fee from me and cancel the 1 yr contract. They said nope you have to pay full 1 yr fee which compounds to 20×12 roughly. And I was just 1.5 months into the second year contract.
They have no helpline or customer service either.
Then I went to check nearest gym to my new rental unit which was 1 km away cloverdale recreation centre to my surprise their cancellation policy is mere $5.
I want organisation should be bit more flexible and be reasonable on their cancellation policy.

It's an ok gym for the price. A few equipment changes would make this gym a lot better than it is. The biggest pros are the private showers and the low monthly fees. Cons are the resistance equipment being cheap and not durable and lack of.

A lot of the equipment they chose to install require constant maintenance. For example, if they replaced their weight stacked leg press with a plate-loaded one it would be out of order once every couple of years rather than every few weeks. No one can slam the stack as they'll just pin themselves at the bottom. The gym would just have to invest in more 45lb plates but that's what the Capilano location did and they have zero issues with that style of leg press machine being out of order.

The Smith-Jones machine is out of balance. It has never been put out of order but it has never been properly aligned. Injuries waiting to happen imo but having it adjusted constantly would end up costly. Probably better off with a proper squat rack like the Langley location. Requires no maintenance.

This gym desperately needs at least 2 more olympic bars. 1 for the T-bar row apparatus and 1 for deadlifts. With just 2 bars, all it takes is one person deadlifting and another doing T-bar rows and their 2 bench presses are out of order which happens a lot!

Needs a seated cable row/seated lat pulldown (heavier stack) to supplement their one, cable crossover (light stack) machine which is worn out from overuse and constantly breaking down. Just something every other Fit4less location has that this one sadly doesn't.

Obviously there are good points but mostly bad ones. I don't mean to be too critical but it's the worst of all the Fit4less locations I've been to which sucks because it's the closest one to me. If there's improvements made I'll consider staying otherwise I'll be looking for a new gym when my membership is up. Fit4less as a company should set better standards for their franchises to follow as there are huge differences in the member experience at this location when compared to their other locations.
