I only made an appointment/booking date for my car repairs. I will let you know how things turn out.

Friendly and professional from estimate to completion. Everything was handled in one stop.they even replaced the windshield while it was in for bodywork. The attention to detail was noted. Fully detailed, my car looked like it rolled out of the dealership showroom. Lifetime guarantee on their work. Highly recommend.

I'm rating Fix Auto Abbotsford East at 4 stars as improvement can be made in administration. Both ICBC and I had to follow up for the assessment report & photos to be uploaded to my claim. The front office may have been busy on the 4 times I was in their office, but on each occasion, I did not feel like a valued client. I had to return the first courtesy vehicle as there was a problem either with the fuel pump or the transmission. A courtesy vehicle was required as I have a lengthy commute & my vehicle was in repair for 5 days. I can overlook these issues as the workmanship on my EV was exceptional. They found additional damage during the repair caused by the hit & run. They went over all the work completely and were thorough. If needed in the future, I will return to Fix Auto Abbotsford East. They are very familiar with EVs.

Very middling experience. Would have given it an average 2.5 if I could.

Pros:
-good and friendly front end staff. I interacted with admin and estimators and they were all helpful and cordial.
-the actual work. Well done and I am happy.

Cons:
-tardiness. The end quote listed 8.5 hrs of work from the staff and yet it took a good 21 days to return my car. The delivery date was changed 3 times and it would have been changed a 4th time if my enforcer of a spouse did not call them up and voiced displeasure. My insurance did not cover a courtesy car, so booking a car for 21 days and constantly updating it on a short notice was quite expensive. I appreciate the work that was done but next time I will look for a different body shop simply because of the inconvenience it has caused me

These guys fixed some of the damage I had, but neglected some damage. I've now called them two days in a row regarding the neglected damage, and so far they have not got back to me. Looks like I'll have to call icbc to get it straightened out. I'm thinking they were trying to get away without repairing the neglected damage. Not impressed at this point. We'll see where it goes from here, but I doubt I'll use Fix Auto again after this bs.

Professional, courteous but CRAZY busy due to parts/labour shortages. Plan to wait up to months.

I saw 2 people come in, be rude to everyone because they had poor coverage or wanted a truck instead of a Golf but didn't want to pay more. Despite this, the reception workers were still polite and effective.

I have used them 3 previous times and been extremely satisfied.this time it looks like the paint was put on heavy. A bit of orange peeling, although minor. The edges look like a run of paint pouring down the edge from the clear coat. The one star review is because the day I was supposed to pick up the car, I was told they would fix it and it would be a day or two. They call the next day and it looks the same, appeared like nothing was done. The estimator was getting snarky because I wasn’t happy. “It is industry standard”, she repeated over and over again. I asked to talk to the manager and I have to wait 2 weeks. Not ok. Talked with ICBC the estimator tells me yes it is heavy, but fixing it may make it worse or could cause future problems. Very unimpressed. They have lost a repeat customer.
