Fleetwood Bottle Return Depot

An FYI for all those who use this bottle depot. Come the middle of January 2024, they will be moving to 16084 Fraser Highway

I had a very terrible experience, starting with the lady there, she is unfriendly, then I was robbed by them, yes, this is day light robbery- after dropping all, I was given $9 ($5 & $2) with a receipt which has $10. In a rush to pick up my kids from school, didn’t look at the receipt, after sch run, gave my son the receipt that all I took there, was only given $9 and he said: “mummy it’s $19 in the receipt”, I was taken aback, had to go back there to confront them, they said since I didn’t report immediately, then it’s not valid, had to leave the $9 on the counter for them and left with the receipt.
This particular return branch is dubious and cheat, please be careful with them.

Clean facility I go here all the time, So convenient! The owner is great and the staff is amazing!

The east Indian woman had a EXTREMELY BAD ATTITUDE when I asked about where to put a small Propane container. She threatened not to take my other returnables if I left it. She had a, bad attitude.she actually yelled at me saying she LOVES her attitude & if I don't like it, then not to return

Hey we know we are all busy. But shorting your client is not cool at all. My dad is a very understanding person and trust you guy but shorten him $10 is not cool at all. Re-train your staff and show the client what they get. That’s basic customer service.

They don’t exact counts my bottles.
It’s not a lot of money but it’s important to do honestly and make a good relationship with customers.
I went 3 times there. However I'm disappointed again today. So I decided to go to another bottle depot next time.

Every single time I have gone to this place when they clearly say they are open THEY ARE CLOSED…GATES LOCKED. Exactly what kind of a business does this?

I have been to few bottle depots in Surrey. This is by far the best one. Staff is very helpful and polite and the place is always clean & plenty of parking available too.

Very rude owners! What happened to having customer service ethics? If you don’t like your job and workplace don’t take it out on customers! Bad for business! I won’t be going back there again and I’ll definitely tell other customers to go somewhere else as well. The owner is very unfriendly and rude!

I haven't seen, I think her name is Deb who was working there for a long time it seems. Long, black hair. In her early 40's. She was such a kind person always wanting to help everyone who was struggling with their load of recycles. Then I saw her walking today and she told me she was let go due to the slow season and yet I saw new people were hired. She was crying because she liked her job and she needs it too. I'm very disappointed to witness this. I can't begrudge the depot in doing a job well done insofar as their work is concerned, but people make the atmosphere also. If anyone who knows the gal I'm talking about please leave a message at the depot and let them know and if you have a job that she can do.she's very good with people.please leave that info.there as well. We need our good people in the world, let's help her. Thanks everyone. We have to look after one another. <3

I am always dropped off my recycling here, always they show to us busy, through out immediately.
They count less and pay back.
Be count before you go to there.

Web says closes at 5: 30 arrived at 4: 50 with clear bag tagged and everything. He would not take it said they were closed. Poor poor service

I wouldn't drop my express bags here if i had a choice. This is the closest one to me. The lady is rude. Some of the younger guys are very nice and helpful.

I would give it five star for the short lady with the long black hair she's very helpful help me sort my bottles but now they tell her that she can't help so to me it's under three star

Very nice people and clean and organized recycle depot with a spacious parking which you can conveniently park your car and move your stuff with the plenty of carts they have to inside the store.
I've gone here for a few years and tried other depots as well but this one is way better. The staff are friendly and helpful, although this business does not need that much of customer service. Usually, the recycle depots are smelly and messy but here one is clean and organized.
If you manage to count your bottles in advance, you can skip the line, if there's any, and the payment is done very fast.

This location is my usual return-it depot. Clean. The staff here are very helpful, nice, and efficient. Will only go to this location. This post was recently updated, as the staff deserve another 5-star on my recent visit.

They are very rude with drop off bags. As soon they saw person with drop off bag they literally yelled indirectly.

Never had any issues. Quick polite service. Very clean and COVID friendly regulations and service. By far one of the best locations to visit.

Yes the parking is limited but the speed at which your stuff is processed and the staff is always kind and helpful.

Employees here are very helpful! If it's not too busy they even help you sort your cans or bottles!

They are not happy with drop off bags. They need really small transparent bags instead large size bags. Always talk rude at drop off time.

Very efficient and friendly staff. I showed up with my express bag and the young gentleman working there took it form me. I didn’t even need to go inside. Thank you!

Suki is a very nice lady to deal with and is well orginized.

I have always had really great service here and most of the time a staff member will come and help me. Many times teaching me new tricks to making sorting easier and quicker. I recommend this depot highly!

The outright nerve of this place. I've been to many other recycling centres in the area and this is the only one that has demanded the counting and sorting of each item in plastic trays yourself. Should we melt them down ourselves, too? Headed to a proper recycling center and they had me out in 3 minutes.

Unlike other bottle depots that doesnt credit alcohol beverage and other returnables.

Kudos keep up the honesty in your depot

The African lady that works here falsely accused me of leaving some used jars behind. They were not even mine to begin with, she became argumentative when I had to keep telling her they were not mine and then she threw an empty container at my head as I was leaving for my car in the parking lot. If they can treat middle class customers this way then I can only assume the worst treatment for the homeless who are often bottle collectors.

There were 5 minutes till they closed and they only did half of my cans. The staff looked very eager to go home and they were rude.

The new step up is stupid. Sort your returns over in this corner and then try and find a cart to put them on to bring them to the cashier at the other end. Won’t be coming back here again.
