I had a great experience booking a vacation and flights with Flight Centre Coquitlam. The agent (Chelsea) was well informed and quick to respond to my many questions! And guided me very well.

I considered leaving a one star review, but gave an extra star for the initial service provided. I used Flight Centre's services to avoid seating issues and requested preferred seating.

On my return long haul flight, I was assigned middle seating despite have a ticket with assigned window seating. The airline refused to move me as I could not provide a receipt (Flight Centre never provided me with one). Upon my return, I followed up with the Agent to understand what went wrong. I did not receive a timely response and followed up again where the Agent said a simple sorry and here is an email to complain directly to the Airline and did not answer any of my other questions. I did not receive any response from the Airline either.

I sent another email to my Agent at Flight Centre asking him again, what went wrong and how to avoid it in the future. I have not heard from him again.

What is the point of using a Travel Agent when this is what you get. I won't be using one again after this experience. Flight Centre are very helpful until they receive your money and their OTA commissions from their booking partners. After that, they couldn't give two hoots about you any more. The entire travel industry is a greedy disgrace post pandemic.

Don't bother with these folks and save yourself the $$.

We always use a travel agent, and these folks have always been so helpful. They have managed sudden changes and emergent issues promptly and well. Highly recommended

The overall experience was good and everyone was very helpful. The agent who sold us the tickets seemed to be new to the position but it didn't disappoint. The only detail that annoyed me a little bit was the comment on my long family name multiple times. Other than that all went well.

Customer service sucks.no communication between the team.called 3+times to cancel a flight spoke with rep was given directions which I followed and apparently it wasn't canceled.now a week passed by still waiting for a simple letter of confirmation.however one thing is consistent is emails with" out of the office"

Thank goodness one of these at least is still open. Not really all that convenient but it is here or Kits. Been helped by 2 people and I have found them friendly and knowledgeable. They have taken the time to check out multiple flights and times to try and get me better seating which I appreciate.

I will continue to go here in the future to book any flights I need. Hope they stay open.

BUYER BEWARE

This is not a review about this location in particular but a review of Flight Center as a whole.

I booked my flight on Sunday and I immediately noticed I got the dates wrong. So I called the help line- the help line is closed on the weekends. I called a few numbers and they were all closed. I thought I should contact them right away to make the change and I found their 24/7 emergency line. Their emergency line said to only call if you are leaving within 48hours. Which I was not so I figured I'd call them straight away the next day.

I called the next day and the man I spoke to said I should have called the emergency line as my situation would have been considered an emergency. He said he could change the flight - it was 200 dollars cheaper to fly on the proper days. I asked for the difference back and he said that would have only been able to happen if I called the same day. Even though I did call the same day and they were closed- he said I should have called the emergency line. He said he would look into the matter and get back to me the next day.

He did not get back to me the next day so I emailed the info line since I did not have a way of contacting him. I got an automatic replying saying if I'm looking for a refund to call the emergency line. I called the emergency line and the person on the other side said they wouldn't be able to help me and they said even if I called the same day like the other man said- they wouldn't have been able to help me anyways.

Anyways lesson learned- NEVER AGAIN will I book with flight center. Conflicting information and terrible support.

I am out $7000 because they told me they would book my tickets (using flight vouchers) but waited until months after the vouchers had expired, and now say it’s too bad, but would like me to pay another $5000 for the tickets. Absolutely the worst, not trustworthy, do not use!

She brought her insight as a traveler to my travel plans, was helpful with my questions, and on several times emailed me well outside of regular office hours to get the job done. Got the help I needed from them it was quick and easy got the flight I wanted but when there was a problem with the airline they called me and booked another flight coming home overall great experience and I will definitely go back in the future

Carrie at Flight Centre made our first experience a great one. She hooked us up with an incredible resort at a beautiful location, and the price point was perfect! I'd recommend Flight Centre to anyone looking to take the stress out of planning a trip, or whoever just wants to save time.

Another great experience with Flight Centre. They have prices and packages that compete with online-only services, but with experienced agents to provide insight and most importantly deal with any minor issues along the way. I'd never met Audrey Niese before the day we booked with her, but she took tons of time to help determine what area and resort was best for us, and when a small issue arose at check in after a huge day of travel (the hotel's fault, not hers), she was literally on the phone with the front desk correcting it as I finished clicking SEND on an email to get her clarification on the details.
I can't say enough good things, especially when online-only services provide little meaningful information about resorts, and god help you if something goes wrong with your booking. Hope you enjoy 1800 numbers, long waits on hold, and being hung up on. Or you could just book with Flight Centre. Without fail always a great experience.

My sister in law and I went into Flight Centre and met with Linda Nankov. I now see she is a Team Lead which I find surprising. We had over six months before the date we set to go to Bali. We used an agent because we had the money to spend and wanted to ensure at least three things were handled with expertise: 1.transportation to and from our resorts and airport, 2.hotel with beach we can swim at for a week and one jungle experience. We did not have the beach experience at all as the beach area we were sent to was not for swimming.not to say there are not many hotels in front of many beaches to swim at (we know because we had to go to them by cab or driver!).
3. The hotel was to be adult oriented with TWO beds as we did not want to be booked with a romantic stay based on double occupancy. I even emailed Linda at one point because I received confirmation and it suggested it may be one king bed or two twin beds. My email was quite direct and clearly stated that as we discussed in our meeting my sister in law and I wanted TWO beds and an adult setting. Linda was passive, stating that we would love Bali and it is beautiful. When paying as much money as we were for accommodations we should not have had any issues.and of course we have the 24-7 support we also paid for. 24 hours of traveling later, we arrive at the airport without a ride at the airport.this was scary at best, we paid a driver to get us to the hotel. We arrived very late at night to a room that had filth in and around the toilet and it did not work. Our room was also unclean. We also had a king bed. We complained, the hotel was a joke. They did not care at all, suggesting another room they brought us to and it was even worse, the bed still unmade and also dirty bottles and food everywhere as if a party had just ended? They said they would clean it. We called the 24-7 support, our agent Linda was on a holiday so we dealt with someone else and she was less than helpful, suggesting we move to another hotel the next day and she would consider not charging us for the room without a toilet.she said the hotel would buy us dinner, only to find out that the buffet was empty because it was so late. They fixed the toilet and we slept the night. The next day the 24-7 support said there would be no refund for the night before because we stayed there and that because we booked far in advance there is no refund from the hotel if we moved. She recommended a better hotel that was close and would be charged for it. So basically we used a Travel Agent (if you can call Flight Centre that) for convenience of being taken care of at the airport, for security being as the "Agent" should have some experience or have the ability to research on our behalves and what we really got was none of the above. We could have booked ourselves using reviews and researching on our own better than Linda did. She did not take any time to research or make sure that our needs were taken care of. I would never recommend this company as they will leave you high and dry while in need of help. We walked in and spent many thousands of dollars each and received the worst customer service ever.

My husband & I booked our flights to Maui with Carrie. Had an occasion to drop in today to book our seat selection. Carrie was busy with another client so spoke with Linda & Katrina. Both ladies were engaging, friendly and professional, as were the other ladies Brie & Alyssa. Such great staff and exemplary service. We look forward to our much needed vacation and thank the staff for making our day.

I booked my last year vacation with the Flight Centre and at this location. I went back a couple of weeks ago to book this year’s. I was surprised by the nonsense prices they offered for different packages. The best they could offer was an all inclusive 4star resort in Cancun, away from city central with a crapy airline. The whole package was $1900.

I looked into it myself and realized the flight centre choices are so limited due to profits and commissions they get from the companies and resorts.

I finally ended up going on Westjet website! I found a 5 star resort in the hotel zone which is at the city central. I booked the best room and of course my flight with Westjet. The whole package was for $1800!

I realized, If you really want to get the best experience and deal for your vacation, you’ll need to look online. I won’t ever limit myself to the local vacation package sellers again.

We used this flight centre to book a particularly tricky number of flights involving a few people with different departure and return dates. SAM KERR at this location did an amazing job helping us get these all booked. Sam is helpful and friendly and AMAZING at her job! Super grateful for how easily she got these booked for us. I would 100% recommend SAM KERR to anyone - thanks Sam!

No service might as well book online.

I wanted service from a real person so tried them out. L lied and told me I can't book premium economy right away and need to upgrade later. Then she ignored my emails when I needed service. I had to call and ask other employees to tell her to respond to me.

I wish I'd just booked directly with the airline. I would have gotten the seats I wanted AND proper service.

Friendly and efficient service. The staff are knowledgeable and were happy to assist me in planning the cruise I wanted. The staff member had exceptional expertise as she had worked on board ships for 3 years. This gave me inside information on cabin locations and the best itinerary for the needs of my elderly relatives and myself. Thank you.
