Ford's Cove Store

We ordered pizza, by default, because literally, ever other place was closed. Got to admit I was unsure because it’s a general store at the marina. But wow, so delicious! Thin crust, fresh, hot, with lots of toppings. Highly recommend!

Nice friendly, very well stocked store, but really, don't take an RV there out of season even though the site says it's open all year. Although the site says there is water for washing up, there is none - turned off for winter - and the campsite was a muddy disaster, not fun to walk through, and there was a power outage on the second night of our three night stay. There was a back up very noisy generator for the main buildings, but no back up for the campsite so we had to listen to the generator all night. We had paid for three nights but simply left after two. This is probably a great site in Spring, Summer and Fall, but in January it's not pleasant at all and I'm hard pressed to see it being advertised as open year round. Also, no views for campervan parking and no sinks in either of the two toilet stalls. The website should alert winter campers as to the potential to lose power, and that the water is shut off, as we paid simply to park in a field of muddy grass with access to a toilet.

Very nice little campsite 14, sites. So very quite, store is very convenient too.
Wish the website had more details.

Hidden gem in terms of provisioning for boaters and campers! Good selection of fresh produce, baked goods, meats cheeses and dairy. Lots of healthy options and cheeky treats.

Their pizza is not great. Thin crust sure but not crispy.it was wet and soggy. Also I found the staff to be disinterested in helping visitors and really seemed like they did not want to be there.all in all bad vibes and soggy za. Would skip this "must try destination"

Great little shop, I was really impressed by the quality, healthy options, vegetarian options, and delicious bakery treats.

Fabulous cabin and location with massive two-tiered deck overlooking channel. Gorgeous views. Cabin is old but clean and has the basics. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained and the little store has a good selection of goods and yummy pizza. This little resort is a gem!

Great little store that, despite it's small size always has what you're looking for. Great stop for an ice cream or cold drink before or after a walk long the sandstone shoreline. They also have great pizza to go, or by the slice. Upstairs a new restaurant is opening Spring 2022.

Many of the snacks and staples needed for reprovisioning the boat on a short trip, even frozen meats and treats. Small store but near the ramp for short carrying distance.
