The funeral director, Christopher Farley, was great to work with. It was a first time for many of our family members trying to put everything together. Christopher was so patient throughout the entire process from helping us select a time, to coordinating the minor details and answering our questions. He helped make it simple, efficient and organized, and the attention to detail were second to none. The entire team was professional and compassionate. Everyone, from Christopher, to the on-site evening attendants, to the hosts during the service, to Gerald and the ground crew, did an amazing job. We could not have asked for more, thank you for making this a memorable day and a proper farewell for our grandmother.

During one of the most difficult times in our lives (after our mother passed away), our experience at Forest Lawn was exceptional. Our funeral director Rebecca was attentive to our every need. She showed incredible compassion, patience and care in the days leading up to the service, and on the day of the service. Given that we hadn't made any funeral arrangements in advance, Rebecca guided us expertly through the process from start to finish. She solved last-minute challenges with professionalism and ease. We are grateful to her for all of her efforts, as well as Seita for helping us with the burial plot. We are thankful to have entrusted Forest Lawn for our mother's funeral service and send-off. The staff is top notch.

Our Funeral Director Gabrielle Toth was outstanding and should be commended for her professionalism and compassion in our time of need. The overall experience was very special for us. Everything went very smoothly considering the sad circumstances. Forest Lawn provided the utmost care for our Dad. A couple very special moments were especially when Greg and Ilish offered to assist my Mom (a hairstylist) to give my beloved Dad his very last haircut. Also we appreciate the care taken to assist with ensuring we could play some of my Dad’s favourite songs during the visitation and funeral services. Mom sadly passed away this summer. The moment Gemma took over as funeral director everything was looked after in a professional, yet extremely friendly and compassionate manner. Mom had pre-planned everything many, many years ago and absolutely everything went just as Mom would have wanted. Every aspect of the original agreement was honoured with no extra charges and no pressure to add on whatsoever. Gemma found all the (very old) original paperwork and made sure everything went smoothly with both the paperwork and with the timing getting everyone organized on the day of the service.

All the staff were excelent in the entire process helping our family in our time of need, from day 1 to this day still offering us help with anything we may need. Our funeral director was Sarene, she was such a great help with the planning of every detail in laying my mother to rest. She went out of her way to make sure everything was done exactly the way we wanted and we were comfortable in the whole process even afterwards offering follow up and making sure we were doing well and offering any help we needed. She was so helpful and compasionate in everything she does. Our family has been using the services of Forest Lawn for generations because of the care and compasion of the staff and quality of service and will continue to do so in the future.

I find myself compelled to write my experience after the passing of my aunt. As a much needed step once losing a loved one is to take care of their final arrangements. This is always a very emotional and difficult endeavour. It starts with the appointment at ur chosen funeral home, our family had made final arrangements at Forest Lawn Funeral Home prior to my aunts passing. I cannot convey the blessing it was that we had made prior arrangements along with once I arrived to complete the process at the funeral home I was greeted by Rebecca and Jesse the funeral directors. The professional empathetic journey that I was about to experience was far beyond any expectations that I could of had.
